Pebble Beach forest hideaway!

1 bed, 1 bath attached guest room off 17 Mile Drive a few minutes from Pebble Beach Resort, The Hay and Spanish Bay. Access nearby beaches with picnic areas with exclusive P.B. gate exits to Carmel By the Sea and Pacific Grove. Close to Monterey, Cannery Row/Aquarium. Bright and airy, high wood-beamed ceiling, lots of windows that open to fresh ocean breezes! Forest & ocean views from the property. Unit is on the other side and away from the main house and has a private entry. Newer memory foam king bed. Bathroom has full marble. Couch folds down to sleep one, too. Kitchenette has sink and is stocked with a complimentary selection of coffee (K-cups), teas, hot cocoa, chips, snacks, bottled water, popcorn, soup, etc. One bottle of wine with cheese and crackers is waiting for you upon arrival. Mini fridge with freezer, microwave, 50" big screen with Bluetooth soundbar/subwoofer. Shampoo, soap, and basic bath amenities are provided. Quiet, secluded, and very relaxing - a great place to chill out by the electric fireplace, catch great sunsets or set up a home base for day trips to wine tasting in Carmel and local breweries, hiking in Carmel Valley, the best golf courses in the world, or all your heart desires on the beautiful Central Coast we are fortunate to call our home!

Unit is on the far side of the property with its own private entry. Private parking on a shared driveway is right next to unit. Owners live in the main house so no blocking of driveway. You will have in and out privileges at all P.B. gates as guests of the host. Speed limits are strictly enforced by Sheriff/CHP. Security cameras are mounted around the property. Del Monte Mall/Whole Foods is 10 minutes away. Gas and grocery (Safeway, Lucky, Trader Joe's) is 5 minutes. Many hiking and biking trails nearby. Point Lobos is 15 minutes south. Big Sur is 45 minutes south. Aquarium passes are available (must be returned). Daily breakfast consists only of granola bars, instant oatmeal packets, and muffins, all of which will be stocked in the unit (no hot breakfast is provided).

Owners are on site and available 24/7 for any issues, concerns, questions, etc. We have lived on the Peninsula for nearly 20 years and would love to share our favorite places with you or help you plan a wonderful vacation once you're here! We look forward to seeing you here with us in Pebble Beach soon! Property is available monthly.

Wonderful Stay!

The room is adorable and the bathroom is lovely. Everything was perfect. The hosts very thoughtfully provided a bottle of wine, cheese, crackers, bottled water and a basket of snacks plus, there were fresh blueberry muffins each morning by our door. The guest passes to the Monterey Bay Aquarium were amazing!! Definitely one of our favorite places we have stayed.

First, finding an opportunity to stay IN the Del Monte Forest is rare indeed. I literally walked to one of the most famous beaches in the world on 17 mile drive from the beautiful space. Every amenity as well as snacks, coffees, wine and cheese and wine were part of the stay. The room is beautifully appointed- very well done. It was peaceful and yet close to everything. The owner and his family were very helpful and assisted us multiple times when we needed help. I will definitely return. Forest, nature, luxury and authentic pebble beach. Can’t go wrong!

Perfect location to explore the surrounding areas. Able to use the guest passes to visit Monterey Bay Aquarium. Host provided great recommendations for activities and dining. Thoughtful touches on checkin and daily muffins. Highly recommend!

Big Sur Getaway

Comfortable king sized bed in a cute guest suite with private entrance. The host provided amazing snacks in the room and muffins to the door step in the morning. They also had memberships cards to the aquarian to borrow at no cost.

Quiet and peaceful

We stayed in January so it was a cool suite. The fireplace took the chill off and made it cozy. The parking space is small and tight. Our hosts made our stay very pleasant.

Pebble beach fun!

We loved this little cottage. It was our anniversary and they had roses and rose petals on the bed when we arrived. So fun! We loved the 17 mile drive and the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Such an interesting and beautiful area! Would highly recommend this home. The hosts were very gracious and shared the aquatium passes, wine, cheese and snacks with us also. Great stay!

Charming and peaceful oasis in Pebble Beach

This VRBO is one of the best we have stayed in. It is clean, well appointed, and the location is amazing. The hosts were extremely thoughtful and accessible. The kitchenette had snacks and breakfast and they gave us muffins in the morning. The hosts even made the space extra special for us because it was our honeymoon. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to all our friends!

Perfect anniversary get away. Hosts thought of everything, from roses and wine, to a fully stocked kitchenette with snacks that lasted our entire stay. Fresh muffins on the doorstep every morning. It was relaxing, quiet, and just what we needed. Loved it.

Pebble Beach Stay

Overall, the stay at Sargis and Betty's cottage was exactly what we had hoped for. Location was close to all the attractions of Pebble Beach including the resort restaurants and 17 Mile drive. In and out of the Pebble Beach gates was easy with Carmel and Monterey close by. We used the passes to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and made time for a picnic at the beautiful Spanish Bay Beach on the 17 Mile drive. The cottage had all the amenities to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. Communication with Sargis was top notch and his recommendations for dining and activities in the Pebble Beach area was spot on. A first class experience!

quite little well equipt room in the forest

Betty and Sargis provide anything and everything one would need for a pleasant stay, coffee, sugar, a nice bottle of wine, even packets of oatmeal, crackers, snacks. It's nice to not have to go shopping for the small things! The room itself is tidy and comfortable; the shower is lush and the water in all the sinks show up hot in an instant! Perfect place for one or two people. Perhaps one of the most comfy beds I've ever experience in a VRBO. And it's truly wonderful to have a king size bed!! Bravo! I would certainly stay there again and again.

Pebble Beach/Del Monte Forest for 2

Beautiful & comfortable stay! Area is so quiet & removed from traffic, which is exactly what we wanted. We used this as our “home base” while went out during the day exploring the area. The owner offers aquarium passes-use them! It was an experience we wouldn’t have splurged on & it’s a very nice aquarium. Carmel is a quaint little town we enjoyed exploring. The 17 mile drive was awesome & definitely worth the time. The unit is well appointed & has everything needed for a stay. Owner dropped off muffins each morning which we greatly appreciated & they were delicious! Communication was also top notch! You won’t be disappointed staying here!

Beautiful oasis in the beautiful Del Monte Forest.

Our hosts, Sargis and Bettie, have created a beautiful oasis in the beautiful Monterey/Carmel/Pebble Beach area. We spent a long weekend in their cottage for my birthday. The cottage is gorgeous, I even said it should be in Architectural Digest!. It is immaculate and very comfortable. The bed is a full king and VERY comfortable! The kitchenette is fully stocked with anything you may need. They provided a bottle of wine, cheese/crackers, coffee, tea, popcorn, oatmeal, lots of bottled water and a lovely basket full of delicious treats. As it was my birthday, they left a balloon and some delicious treats. Each morning, they delivered fresh muffins to the front door. They provide two season passes to the Aquarium which gives you “member only” access so you don’t have to wait in the long general admission entrance line. The bathroom is gorgeous and we loved the instant hot water. We had a lovely visit with Sargis the morning we left. It was so nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of Monterey in the peace and quiet of Pebble Beach. It only took 10 minutes to get to Monterey. We ate in Asilomar which was 7 minutes away and at The Inn at Spanish Bay which was 5 minutes away. I highly recommended staying here and would joyfully return. Thank you Sargis and Bettie.

My partner and I had the most wonderful stay at this charming cottage in Pebble Beach. From the moment we arrived, we were swept away by the peaceful surroundings and the cozy, welcoming vibe. The location is unbeatable—nestled among the pines with ocean breezes and just minutes from scenic 17-Mile Drive.

Just what we needed to be in proper. We were there for the Pebble Beach Concurs d'Elegance and the location could have not been better. As it happened, the host was also a Porsche guy. We were able to have a conversation about our cars. The only suggestion we have is change the king bet for a Queen giving a bit mor floor space. We highly recommend this property.

Outstanding! So remote, yet so close to everything. A well appointed home in the woods. We were visited by deer daily. Such a beautiful area and such gracious hosts. The unit was perfect and came with plenty of gifts and amenities. The tickets to the Monterey Bay Aquarium were a bonus! What a fantastic aquarium! Highly recommended!
