Welcome to the Dora Canal Inn vacation rental home on the beautiful and scenic Dora Canal, located near the historic town of Mt Dora. Mt Dora is famous for great shopping, dining and tons of boating activities!
Relax and enjoy all of the luxuries of home at this cozy and well stocked home. We offer a brand new boat dock that can dock two boats with nearby convenient boat ramps and plenty of driveway parking for a boat trailer.
There are many fun boating activities available to explore the Dora canal and surrounding chain of lakes. You can rent your own boat, hire a private boat captain, take a guided boat tour, kayak or paddle board tour, sea plane tours and more!
We offer 4 kayaks and life jackets, an oversized outdoor fire pit with seating and firewood, gas grill, bikes, fishing poles and outdoor games such as corn hole and ladder golf and an air hockey table in the garage.
Indoors has a two player video arcade game with over 60 classic games such as Pac Man and Donkey Kong as well as plenty of board games, an organ piano and a Dvd player with movies.
This beautiful newly furnished vacation home offers four roku smart tv's in the living room and each bedroom, Wifi, two desks for work spaces, King & Queen mattresses are Serta memory foam with motion & adjustable, black out bedroom curtains, Coffee bar with kuerig/coffee pot combo, washer & dryer, dyson cordless Vacuum, a cooler for boating and stocked with plenty of towels and kitchenware. We also offer a battery operated golf cart for cruising to downtown Tavares. (Holds four and requires an additional waiver being signed).

We also have a sister property, the Dora canal cottage vacation rental located directly next door. Rent both for multiple families! We ask that you do not access the property next door unless you or someone you know is renting the property.

Rules & Policies:
No pets allowed. No smoking of any kind allowed inside the property or garage. No drugs, firearms, fireworks or open flames such as candles. (Battery operated candles provided). No events, parties or large gatherings. No glitter or confetti permitted.
No parking on the lawn/grass or in the garage.
Must be at least 25 years old to book and person booking must be staying on the property. (Maximum number of guests staying on the property is 6) Photo ID is required for booking.

Note: This property has 4-5 steps at all entry accesses. (Front door, back doors and garage). It also features two external security cameras that record 24/7 with audio, to monitor the property for safety and security purposes. These cameras are NOT monitored during guests stay. Camera locations: One ring doorbell camera located at the front door (facing the porch and driveway) and one facing the side of the house with the firepit and sliding glass door. No security camera looks into or is located in interior spaces. Tampering with wifi or security cameras is not allowed.
