This cozy one bedroom apartment in St. Louis' quiet Shaw neighborhood is just minutes from the Fox Theater, hospitals, Botanical Gardens, and Ball Park Village. A perfect crash pad for touristing in St. Louis or traveling for work. Experience just a three-minute walk to Tower Grove Park to enjoy beautiful green landscape, pavilions, water-lily pond, and the hosts to farmersâ markets from spring to fall. You're surrounded by tons of restaurants and beautiful Victorian style architecture.
The place was very clean with lots of character. The host provided clear instructions and timely communication. There are some great dining options within a few blocks walking distance, and the neighborhood seemed very friendly! 100% would stay again. Thanks, Lavall!
I really enjoyed having my own place to stay for the duration of a week's conference. The place was clean and well furnished with all the amenities one could ever need for a home away from home.
This house is very convenient to Tower Grove Park and the Botanical Gardens. The neighborhood is very walkable with coffee shops and markets near by. The house was clean and well appointed. We would definitely recommend it.
It was super nice and roomy when we came in! It was the perfect amount of space. We struggled with the front door code, so we could only access through the back. But overall was great.
I was a bit unsure about staying in St Louis but I was pleasantly surprised! This apartment was in a great location, close to everything I wanted to do, and the neighborhood was so cool. I would definitely come back to Shaw again, it was quiet and full of well loved family homes. This apartment is charming and clean. Check in/out was super easy and the host was easy to contact. There is street parking and a convenient spot in back which is accessed by a very narrow alley so be careful if you have a big vehicle.
We were in St. Louis for a couple of days to see the botanical gardens. We loved walking around the neighborhoodâplenty of restaurants and coffee shops nearby, we barely had to use the car. The flat was cute and comfortable with lots of character, and had just about anything we needed, would love to stay again next time weâre in the area.
Property was just what we needed to show my wife my hometown during a short date over 3 weekdays.
Quaint old home with nice neighbors, kitchen was stocked with newer utensils, kitchen tools, and basic appliances, no issues with cleanliness, decent water pressure and a/c which handled hot summer quite well.
Neighborhood is of older homes that seem to be well kept. Streets to house were easy to maneuver and relatively wide. Home is in the Garden District neighborhood with walkable places to eat. Adequate street parking was available.
We would stay here again for The MUNY (13 minutes), Forest Park, Missouri Botanical Garden, The Hill, and other.
The place was clean and easy to get to.
The GPS brought us to the front door, where there is only street parking. Just a quick drive around to the alley for an actual parking spot behind the house. Large Vehicles might be tight. The house seemed to be in a great location for our plans. Once we parked, we did not use our vehicle again until we left. We walked or used Uber. Uber was cheaper than all of the parking charges at the places we visited.
Bring a box fan with you if you are someone who likes a fan at night, as there are no fans.
We loved this apartment. The furniture was very comfortable and suited our needs perfectly. The only hiccup came during the check in process, which was solved quickly.
