Cozy Mountain Cabin Near Two Ski Centers
This inviting cabin is everything you’d hope to find in the Catskills! With an open-concept layout, 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms, it's the perfect mix of comfort and convenience.

Whether you're visiting for a weekend or planning a longer stay, this home is ideal for families and small groups—especially during ski season.

Seasonal Rental Opportunity
Available for seasonal rentals, this cabin is located just 9 miles from Plattekill and 11 miles from Belleayre, making it a fantastic home base for skiers and winter adventurers.

Private, Wooded Setting
The cabin sits toward the end of a quiet, dead-end road, offering privacy and a peaceful woodland setting. You’ll enjoy views of the nearby mountains while still being close to local amenities.

There are a few other homes on the road, but you’ll feel tucked away in your own serene retreat.

Outdoor Space
Set on 1.6 acres, the property features both sunny and shaded areas for outdoor fun. A mostly flat lawn is great for lawn games, while the spacious front porch is perfect for sipping coffee in the morning or cocktails in the evening.

Entry & Mudroom
Enter the home through the mudroom, which includes a laundry area and plenty of space for coats and boots. This area is especially handy during snowy or muddy seasons.

Open Living Area
The main living space is bright and welcoming, with a country-style kitchen that includes everything you need to prepare and serve meals.

A wood stove adds warmth and cozy ambiance during cooler months, and a large window fills the space with natural light.

There’s plenty of comfortable seating in the living room, perfect for movie nights or board games with friends and family.

Dining Area
Just off the kitchen, the dining room features a large table—ideal for shared meals, remote work, or game nights.

We love animals, but this home is not a pet-friendly property. No dogs, cats, or other pets are permitted. This policy helps maintain a clean, allergy-safe environment for all of our guests.

Quiet Hours & Neighbor Respect
We love our neighbors—and we know you will too! Please keep outdoor noise to a minimum after 9 PM.

Check-out: By 11 AM

Early or late check-in may be available for an added fee with at least 24 hours’ notice. Same-day requests cannot be guaranteed due to cleaning schedules.

We’re available by phone or email if anything arises. This is a private home—not a hotel—so response times may vary slightly, but we’ll do our best to assist you promptly.

Important Travel Info
There is no cell service at the house. Please enable WiFi calling on your phone before arrival so you can make and receive calls over the internet.

We recommend saving or writing down key check-in details—such as the address, door code, WiFi info, and host contact numbers—in case you lose signal while traveling.

A vehicle is required to get around. There are no ride-share services (Uber/Lyft) or reliable taxis in this rural area.

Winter Travel Advisory (October–April)
Delaware County is mountainous and beautiful—especially in the winter—but snow and ice are common. Please plan accordingly.

We strongly recommend:

AWD, FWD, or 4WD vehicles
Winter or all-season tires with solid tread
Avoiding 2WD or RWD vehicles in snowy or icy conditions
The driveway is plowed and maintained in the winter. A shovel is provided to help you clear walkways if needed.

Country Living Note
This home is located in a rural, natural area. While the exterior is professionally treated, insects or mice may occasionally find their way inside—especially in cooler months when they seek warmth.

If you are especially sensitive to wildlife or critters, this may not be the best fit for your stay.

Water & Septic System
The home uses a private well and septic system, which is typical for this area. Please help us care for it by:

Conserving water during dry spells
Avoiding water games (sprinklers, kiddie pools, Slip ‘N Slides)
Only flushing toilet paper—no wipes, paper towels, or hygiene products
Misuse can lead to water shortages or costly repairs, and we appreciate your care and consideration.

To maintain the safety, quiet, and natural beauty of the area, the following activities are not permitted on the property:

A FEW RULES.
Check-In and Check-Out: Plan your travel on our listed 4PM arrival and 11AM departure times. Changes in times may be available for an additional fee if possible. Please give at least 24 hours notice for requests, last minute requests may not be possible as cleaning and service schedules are planned in advance.

- We have awesome neighbors; help keep us awesome neighbors too.
- No parties. Only the number of guests on the reservation should be in the house. Let Host know of daytime guests.
- No smoking. If you must smoke, do so outdoors only and extinguish when done then put in the garbage.
- No pets. I know, we love them too.
- No ATV's, snowmobiles, fireworks or firearms.
- Quiet hours 9PM to 8AM, keep outdoor noise to a minimum.

Summer Family Vacation

Cozy cabin with amazing views and lots of character! Hiking everywhere you turn and many wonderful places to eat, shop and explore just a short car ride away. If skiing is your thing this is a perfect location.

Nice Cabin

Great getaway in the Catskills with a beautiful view of the mountains. We loved hanging out on the porch. The communal kitchen / living room space is also cozy and friendly, really great for cooking and hanging out all together. Perfect vacation spot.

Rustic Cabin

This is a rustic cabin with a great view of the mountainside! Loved the book / magazine collection in the main bedroom. Enjoyed relaxing in the rockers on the porch. Perfect for a weekend getaway to detach from the stresses of everyday life. We had to reach out to the property manager for something and they were very responsive. The only drawback that we felt was the price / value (partly due to the high cleaning fee).

Great Vacation Cabin

We loved our stay in early October. The fall foliage view was awesome. I wish we could stay longer but kids had to return to school. The kitchen and the living room was awesome to mill around. The long dining table was just right for our family! There were plenty of dishes and silver wears, pots and pans. All the appliances worked well. Grocery stores were not too far. Overall a well maintained and convenient cabin with a great view as backyard for kids to run around.

Nice Location Unfortunatly the house was not clean

when we arrived Temperature was at 50F .. a long time to heat the biggest room . but it was ok .. what was much more surprising was the cleanliness. we found the garbages overflowing with trash bags . A lot of bugs on the floor and in the bed ! .. the dishes was not clean at all and we had to clean everything , the towels should be scrapped honestly , they are with dirty marks !We have the habit to rent many houses and this one was absolutely not at the right level ... you should update the pictures as well . the red cough is torn .. its a shame becuase this house could be fantastic if it was cleaned deeply and if some equipments were replaced ...
