Rustique, Twin Lakes Lodge situé au cœur de la capitale de la motoneige du Haut-Michigan du Mid-West et du Summer Place - à ne pas manquer. Le quartier de Munising est situé au centre ... parfait pour des excursions d'une journée. La grande salle du rez-de-chaussée contient une cuisine entièrement équipée, un coin repas et un salon. 2 chambres à l'étage principal, grande chambre avec 2 lits doubles, petite chambre 1 lit queen et un lit double. Le niveau supérieur est un loft de taille généreuse. Il contient 2 lits doubles, un canapé-lit queen / coin salon qui donne sur la grande salle. La salle de bain est au rez-de-chaussée. Toutes les chambres offrent beaucoup d'espace pour se déplacer. Le lodge lui-même est en retrait du lac, ce qui permet au client une intimité supplémentaire. Il y a beaucoup de place pour les remorques / véhicules / VTT ... Réparez le dîner dans la cuisine entièrement équipée. Réfrigérateur pleine grandeur, cuisinière-four, micro-ondes et cafetière. Service de table suffisant pour 10.

The place was nice & clean. There wasn't a big issue with mosquitos which was nice, but there really only enough seating for 6 the rest had to sit at the kitchen table so we all really couldn't hang out together. That was really the only issue.

Great summer getaway!

The cabin was so beautiful. The inside was clean, had a quaint log cabin feel and was perfect for six adults. It had all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed the surrounding area attractions as well. Had a relaxing, beautiful week.

Great place for UP fall/waterfalls

The cabin was wonderful and in a very quiet location. It was in a good location for traveling between many waterfalls and trekking trails. Driving between locations was joy due to the fall foliage. We enjoyed our stay and will be putting this cabin on our return list.

We were disappointed that the listing did not accurately represent the lake access or swimming area. The listing stated there was lake access with a raft and swimming area, but the raft was pulled onto shore and appeared to be rotting. The shoreline was muddy, extremely slippery, full of weeds, and not somewhere we felt was safe for our 10-, 7-, and 3-year-old children to swim.The homeowner down the road whose property provides the lake access told us there had previously been a cabin there and that glass and other debris may still be in the water. While walking in, we stepped on submerged 4x4s.The listing also made it seem like the cabin was on the lake, but it is not. You have to walk down the road to use the lake in front of a family member of the owner’s home.The cabin looked clean at first, but there was quite a bit of dust and dirt under the beds and couches.I explained these concerns to the owner. She acknowledged that the raft had not been put in the water this year because it needed repairs and immediately removed it from the listing. Considering our stay was over Labor Day weekend, that was very disappointing.We spent over 1,400 on this family weekend and specifically chose this property for swimming access. Had the lake access, shoreline condition, lack of a usable raft, and actual location been accurately represented, we would have booked somewhere else.

Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify several points for future guests. The location of Twin Lakes Lodge is clearly described in the listing. The cabin is not directly on the lake; the listing states that it is set back from the lake and that guests have access to a shared beach and shared water​craft a short walk down the road. We encourage guests to review the full property description and amenities prior to booking so they know exactly what to expect.​ I am always available to answer questions before booking and throughout a guest's stay. Lake levels and shoreline conditions naturally fluctuate from year to year and are outside of our control. This year's unusually high water affected the shoreline; however, the normal swimming area has a sandy bottom and continues to be used for swimming and fishing. During their stay, the children ​d​id swim in the lake and ​t​hey caught fish. We would also like to clarify the comment regarding possible glass or debris. The owner's father cautioned the guests against going into an overgrown area off to the left of the normal swimming area, where a home had stood approximately 80 years ago, because there could potentially be old debris there. He was not referring to the area normally used for swimming. The swimming raft was unfortunately unavailable because it was in need of repair. ​Reference to the raft was removed from the listing. None of these concerns were brought to our attention until departure day. Had we been contacted during the stay, we would have been happy to address their concerns and clarify the swimming area. We do appreciate the feedback regarding dust under the beds and couches and have addressed that with our cleaning team. We strive to represent ​t​he propert​y accurately, and the cabin​'s location, shared lake access and shared amenities were disclosed in the listing at the time of booking.

Cozy Cabin

This cabin was just as described. It was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. It was close to Picture rocks cruises and to Munsing. Lots of waterfalls and hiking trails nearby. We would definitely stay again.

Clean cabin

From the moment of booking to check out communication was excellent. Cute and clean cabin in the woods. Remote yet close to so many area attractions. We went in summer but also looks like it would to be a beautiful location in winter.

Great stay

The house was a nice place to stay while hiking and visiting the pictured rocks area and Marquette. The kitchen was well stocked and clean (we made several meals at the home). The house itself was very comfortable. Lisa was a great communicator. I would recommend this place to friends and stay here again.

Wonderful family get away UP north

The lodge is amazing! Very clean and well-stocked with kitchen and bath supplies. The lake was very nice. We used the row boat and paddle boat while we were there. The campfire area and seating provided for a great night of hot dogs and s’mores. This is a very quiet location.

Multi family Summer vacation

The property was excellent! It was quiet, clean, great cabin feel, tons of little extras and had a nice fishing and swimming area we caught lot's of fish! Enjoyed the town of Munising, ship wreck cruise and Pictured Rocks. We even found a nice road side swimming area on lake Superior with a mini version of Pictured Rocks rocks that the kids could climb on and explore!

Clean and Cozy

This home was very clean. Nice towels and bedding. Kitchen well stocked. We had 11 in our group and we all slept comfortably and had plenty of space.

Cozy. Coffee pot did not work. They delivered a new one with a couple of hours. Had a great time.

We were trail riding with side by side. Easy ascess to trails.

Nice and Remote with Relaxed Rustic Feel

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. All the appliances were in good shape and it was kept nice and clean. Loved the feel of the interior. The beds were comfy. Upon arrival communication was just right through email. Very quite and peaceful. We are not TV watchers but it was nice that cable TV was there so could watch the Packer game. Thanks Lisa

Very Charming Cottage

We really enjoyed the Hiawatha Hideaway cottage. Location was secluded although a little difficult to get to with the condition of the dirt roads. Check-in was a breeze and we were very close to all the beautiful scenery we wanted to experience (Pictured Rocks, beaches, waterfalls, etc..). The only aspect that was a less than expected was the swimming area on the lake at the cottage was swampy and buggy, not that great for kids. Everything else was great though and we had a fantastic time.

Cabin in the woods

It was a nice place but a few complaints. Could have had a bit more thorough of a cleaning. There was some mold in the shower. Wouldn’t stop me from going again.

We immediately followed up with our cleaner and found to our relief that it wasn't mold, but the wallpaper just needs to be replaced! Comfort in the woods

The property was comfortable and clean, with nice amenities like videos and games that we could use. There was space to spread out and it was well-equipped/stocked. We liked the campfire and seating area out there. It was a more isolated location, which we knew, but the wi-fi was good as long as we were in the cabin. A few things that would have been nice to have were a dishwasher, washer & dryer, and air conditioning or better fans (we happened to stay there on a hotter and more humid week, so while A/C might not be completely necessary, some additional cooling options could have helped). The water was very iron tasting, which was noted, but we definitely had to bring our own bottled water. I personally would have preferred cotton bedsheets as they seemed to be microfiber and not as cool in the hotter weather. Overall, though, it was a nice place to stay and we had good communication with the host. We received timely and clear information for check-in.

Perfect Little Cabin

The cabin was perfect for our vacation. It looked nicer from the outside in the pictures so we were a little worried when we first pulled up. But the inside was pretty, clean, and space was utilized well. We had 6 people; teens and adults and had plenty of space. Exactly what we were looking for. Please note that the beach area isn't actually a beach (no sand). It is the owner's private lake access that they share with guests. There is no lake view from the cabin. The "beach" is situated right next to their home and you have to walk through their yard and any outdoor activities they may be enjoying to get to it. They are very nice, just be aware if you are planning on setting up to hang out at the "beach".... you'll be hanging out in someone's back yard, on the grass, without view of the cabin you're staying in. It could be a little awkward. Other than that, the house was perfect. Private, comfortable, and provided all that we needed.

Great spot close to pictured rocks. We enjoyed the inland lake and the cabin comfortably accommodated our group as of 9.
