Wonderful house, close to town!

Lovely home with great accommodations. Well equipped kitchen and spacious dining room. Great for lounging in front of fireplace. Fun long weekend!

Great time in lake placid!

House was very spacious for 10 adults and 4 children. Fantastic location! Close to the lake and shops. House was fully equipped with all the essentials! Hoping to return next year!

Canadian Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful time! Lots of big bedrooms and very comfortable for 10 adults. Tons of games, outside fire pit and super well equipped kitchen. A few shortcomings but nothing major: No shampoo or hairdryers in bathrooms. Old Victoria type house so a few cluster flies but not a deterrent from staying there.

Wonderful place to stay

We stayed here with extended family for the 2024 Ironman triathlon, three of our group were competing and the rest were cheering them on. This was the perfect place to stay, lots of room for everyone with 7 bedrooms, everything you could possibly need is there, and the location is perfect. Just up the hill from town in a quiet neighborhood, very walkable to the town and Mirror Lake. Huge wraparound porch where we spent most of our time and a dining room table big enough for all of us at dinnertime, no need to find a restaturant that would fit us all.We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely come back. Lake Placid is also a very cute little town and lots to do.

The property was misrepresented on the Vrbo website. Description stated that the house was newly renovated. The house has not been renovated at all! Flies dead & alive in house, food in refrigerator & cabnets expired, little room for personal food, poor wifi And no real fireplace

This gorgeous and recently renovated home sits within a very short walk away from the center of Lake Placid with several restaurants, breweries, multi-theater building, Olympic Arenas, Mids park with free summer concerts, a public beach with tennis courts and playground that has swimming in the summer and tobogganing or skating in the winter and so much more! You are surrounded with endless sporting opportunity including golf, hiking, biking, rock climbing, nature walks, cross country skiing, sledding and Whiteface Mountain Ski Center sits only about a 15 minutes drive away!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

This property is in an ideal locale for a park and walk vacation. A trolley also runs throughout the Village making several local stops. The entry foyer with sofa and a desk and stools that presents a great area to catch up a bit for "workcations" or a good place to catch up on social media in a sun-filled room with nice views. There are 3 floors with large rooms and lots of space inside and out, so there is plenty of area for groups to gather together or to find a quiet space to read a good book or rest after busy days exploring!
