We stayed over Thanksgiving, and it was the
Perfect place
To stay as the grandparents of our sonâs growing family. We were close to their home and we saw the family a lot. Our place was clean, and our host thought of everything we might need.
Beautifully decorated, clean, and in a nice quiet neighborhood. Perfect location for anywhere you are traveling in Dothan. Accommodations have most everything you would need. Highly recommend this hidden gem! Host is quick to respond if you have a need.
Second time back! Enjoyed the location and all the details to creature comfort. Will definitely be back when traveling to Dothan. Truly a âhidden gemâ!
First of all, Iâm totally in love with Fairhope and secondly, the Chateau is the perfect spot to stay when visiting. The location is perfect, the balcony is fantastic, thereâs everything youâd ever need and the whole place is magical. We even enjoyed a sold out concert at the Amphitheater via the balcony. Literally sounded like we were there. Just book it. Youâll love it.
The house was exactly as pictured and located in a lovely area of town. The host has the space well stocked for cooking and entertainment. I particularly appreciated the comfortable beds, drawer space in the bathroom, and fun decor. As a former owner of a vacation rental, I can honestly say this host knows what she is doing and has all the amenities one might want or need for a getaway. We would absolutely stay again if we needed an overnight accommodation in Dothan!
Located on quiet residential street. Has plenty of towels, hair dryer, qtips! Coffee pot and ground coffee (coffee maker can do pods-but there were no pods provided). Small blender, toaster, and air fryer were all wonderfully pink. Decor was very nice. Clean up was easy: wash dishes (hand wash), strip used beds, used towels to bathroom, take out trash.
I recommend and will stay again
This is a beautifully updated home in an upscale, historic neighborhood in Dothan. Just five minutes from the fantastic downtown boutique restaurants and stores and barely further to the more tourist type areas of town. The bed we slept on was, maybe, the best bed I've ever slept on while traveling. The neighborhood is quiet. So quiet, you'll think you're in the country. You will not go wrong renting this home. It is truly lovely.
We came for a soccer tournament and wanted a little more space than a traditional hotel room. This place was perfect for us! Very quiet and safe neighborhood which is very close to everything. The house is a nice combination of updated modern decor and rustic 1964 style. The beds and sheets are comfortable and there are black out curtains to enable late sleeping, if your kids will allow it, which ours of course donât!). There is 1 queen bed, 1 full bed, and a twin daybed for the 3rd BR. Having 1 bath wasnât a problem for us, but it was slightly cramped in there. The kitchen was fully functional for what we needed, but itâs not a chefs kitchen by any means. Of note, there isnât a dishwasher, so guests need to wash any used silverware or glassware by hand prior to leaving. We didnât mind this at all, but some might. We really loved the coffee/tea station. It was a great touch to be able to have a coffee or tea to go, and showed that the owner really cared about the guests. The supplied games were also nice, and we actually finished up our stay here with a game of monopoly!
This place is perfect for a small family looking for a quiet getaway. We would definitely stay again.
