4 Bedroom, 2 Full Bathroom Single Home With Dock Space For Up To 2 Boats
Welcome to the Burritt House, a 3-story 4 bedroom, 2 full bath single home with dock space included.

Our home is located within walking distance to local shopping and dining establishments and provides off street parking for up to two vehicles. Inside you will find 4 cozy bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The large deck with gas grill provided is a great place to enjoy your meal and watch the amazing sunsets that are unique to the 1000 Islands. The Kinney drug store is just across the street and has proven to be a life-saver for many renters in the past.

The home was completely remodeled in June/July 2017 which includes all new interior and exterior paint, new living room furniture, flat screen smart TV's, new dishwasher, new over-the-range microwave, and much more! In 2018 a new furnace and on-demand water heater was added to replace our old aging unit. In 2019 the entryway (mud room) was remodeled to provide a more welcoming fist impression to our guests. The central AC unit was replaced to a more energy efficient model. We strive to keep our house in top working order for our valued guests.

Our home is close enough to town for you to enjoy all that Alex Bay has to offer yet it's situated in such a way that provides the much needed peace and tranquility that you deserve. The location and convenience of this property speak for itself.

All of your essential items are included in the price shown on the website. This includes WiFi access, cleaning fees, and dock fees, some of which other landlords charge for separately. We also provide you with paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, dish soap, dish detergent, and more. We want you to be happy that you chose our property for your vacation!

Please contact the owner with any questions prior to booking. Questions or inquiries are encouraged so that you are sure you've made the right choice in booking our home. We ask for weekly rentals during the in-season months with changeover day being Saturday. Check-in time is 3:00pm and check-out time is 10:00am.

As owners we want to assure all guests and potential guests that your health and safety is of utmost importance to us. We have worked diligently with our housekeeper to set a new higher standard for deep cleaning after each family leaves. One or both of the owners will be on site at change-over day to assist with cleaning and disinfecting the home. The central air conditioning filters will be changed weekly. We will have hand sanitizer and cleaning wipes available to you as well.

Your patronage is very much appreciated and we want to assure you that our home is safe and ready for your stay. Please contact the owners if you have any questions prior to booking.

Wonderful time and location

Property was spotless. Location is great near all activities such as Bolt Castle, downtown shopping and restaurants, Eisenhower locks and Kingston Canada. Busy the whole time there. Nice having your boat in the backyard. Will be back.

Nice house in great location!

Great place to stay that is close to everything. We had two bass boats and the dock worked out great for us. There isnt enough parking for trailers, but owners offered nice secluded parking for them not too far away and we had no issues keeping them their during our trip. The drug store directly across the street was super convenient, as they carried a great variety of needed things. I highly recommend this property

Annual fishing trip to Canada BUT one of us lost their passport last minute. This property had an opening and the host was able to fit us in. The host was very accommodating with information about the place, boat launching etc. Excellent communications and a pretty good looking place.

Outstanding

This property is an Alex Bay gem. Comfortable, clean and affordable. When we checked in there was an issue with the refrigerator. The owner Joel and his housekeeper DJ were right on it. It took a couple days to resolve. Joel reached out everyday to make sure we had everything we needed. We loved having a dock for our boat and easy access to the main channel. Sunsets were amazing. The large deck was our main hangout spot. The kitchen had all the appliances and gadgets you need. The beds were comfortable which is very important to me when reviewing a property. We didn't realize the bed in the downstairs bedroom opened into a queen bed. My partner's 6' 5" son slept in it for 3 nights. Oops. I can't give this property and it's owner, Joel enough stars. Thank you!

The house is great. This is the second time we have stayed at this house and really enjoyed ourselves again. This experience was not as good as our first. I believe that there may have been a change in ownership, which was noticeable.

the picture really is deceiving. you can't even see the house from the road. you can't get to the backyard except thru the house. ice maker didn't work. It does have a great dock for fishing. Overall ok

Fall fishing outing

The place was great for our annual fishing outing. The house is neat and clean. Plenty of room. Nice area to play cards inside and out. There is a new dock for the boat with a handrail on the sloping ramp to the dock.

Great house close to the water. Everything was very clean inside. We had 8 people total and were very comfortable. Owners communicate as needed and are very accommodating. Loved our time there.

Awesome Vacation

The owners have put a lot of work into making this a perfect vacation rental. The attention to detail in every room clearly shows the compassion and effort of the owners to provide a great experience. I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed this property on my vacation, including the ability to keep my boat on the newly updated waterfront at the floating dock. This property is in an ideal location. The owners (Chris and Jodi) were very accommodating and checked in to make sure everything was ok when we arrived, also very responsive to questions. I also liked the fact that there is a security monitor system outside front and back. Everything about this property was GREAT!! for us. Thank you Chris and Jodi!!

Great Stay in Alex Bay

This is our second time at the Burritt House. We love the location, on the water and walking distance to town. We appreciate the cozy charming appeal the home has. The owners are very responsive and great to work with. The home is clean, comfortable and inviting. I definitely recommend this rental to anyone looking for a get away in the Thousand Island area. We will stay there again.

Girls Weekend

We had an amazing weekend at this property! It was very clean, had a beautiful view of the water, and the host was so accommodating and welcoming! He was easy to reach for questions and all details regarding the stay were clearly outlined. I would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a peaceful water retreat, I hope to be back one day!

A Gem in Alex Bay!

From the time we requested our reservation, information was timely and useful! The owner was immediately responsive to any questions. We arrived and found the house to be very clean- we appreciated the extra efforts in this area as well- was comforting to see the list of extra cleaning and that it was actually practiced! The house is as pictured- great use of spaces. It was cooler when we visited so didn’t use the decks much, but it was a beautiful view out those front windows! Location was perfect- we walked everywhere, only drove once. We took a boat tour-a couple renewed their wedding vows! fun:) Shopped James st awhile- everyone was friendly. We highly recommend The Kitchen for dinner-wonderful atmosphere and fabulous food! We would definitely recommend staying at this home and hope to return to it in the near future!

In town with great access to the water

We had a wonderful time. The property is within walking distance of all the attractions in Alex Bay (shopping, dining etc). The house is comfortable for three couples and the dock/water access is very nice. We rented a pontoon boat from Wagoners Marina that we docked right at the house and had a great time exploring the river during the day and coming back for a relaxing dinner and drinks on the deck over looking the water. Very nice indeed!

A week in Paradise

Amazing amazing amazing! Perfect location! Perfect space! Perfect Hosts! This house has been everything we needed and more for our annual family dive trip! Floating dock with privacy, all the amenities of being at your own house, walking distance of everything! Hosts provides all you need and more! Burrit house

We had a great time here. The house had all of the essentials that you would need. Right on the lake. We were able to dock right in back yard and take our boat out anytime. Great spot for a get away!

Great place in Alex Bay!

Everything about this place, including the owners, was top notch. It is furnished, decorated, and supply stocked as if they were staying there themselves, as opposed to just enough to get by for renters. And Chris gave me his direct cell number if we had any questions, and responded promptly within minutes each time I texted him. Our party consisted of 5 adults and 2 kids, aged 2 years and 2 months. We had more than enough room, even with all of the paraphernalia that needs to get dragged along with kids that young. The place is conveniently located, with a Kinney Drug right across the street, as well as a nice breakfast/lunch diner kind of place (I think it was named North Star) that we tried one day. And, the whole downtown area of Alex Bay is an easy walk of just a few minutes, which we did almost every day. Even the couple next door, who are permanent residents, were super nice and friendly (which is not always the case when residents get renters next to them)! We had a number of friendly chats with them throughout the week when we ran into them outdoors. Unfortunately due to my own fault waiting too long to try to rent a pontoon boat for the week, we were not able to get a boat; but this place has a nice large dock area where you can keep one while you are here. We still enjoyed the dock, though, by bringing out some folding camp chairs, sitting on the dock of the bay (sorry, couldn’t resist :-)), having a few cold ones, and watching all of the boats go in and out of the channel as the babies napped. It was very peaceful and relaxing. I could go on and on about what we liked, but I think you get the idea. It is a great place, run by great people, and I would highly recommend it if you want a place to rent in Alex Bay! Joe Caldwell Endwell, NY
