The Breakers Villas, located directly on the beach, offer comfortable 1-bedroom accommodations perfect for singles, couples, and small families. The complex boasts an adult and children's swimming pool, a spacious patio with chaises and tables, and beach access. Guests of 216 Breakers can enjoy stunning oceanfront views from their private balcony, fully equipped kitchen, and cozy living room, which features a Queen Sleep Sofa and Flat Screen TV. The villa is furnished with a Queen bed, a 32" Flat Screen TV, hall bath with Tub/Shower combo, and stackable washer & dryer. The recent addition of two elevators ensures easy access for guests. Beach Towels & Beach Chairs are included in every Hilton Head Rentals professionally managed property.

Beyond the beach, Breakers is located across the street from Coligny Plaza, a shopping center with a movie theater, nearly fifty shops and restaurants, and within walking distance of numerous other stores and restaurants. The Van Der Meer Tennis Center, which offers seventeen courts, is less than a mile away, and you'll find a myriad of biking trails nearby as well.

Additionally, this stretch of beach includes Coligny Beach Park, with walking and biking paths, volleyball nets, a splash pad for kids, and gazebos with rockers and porch swings perfect for watching the sunrise over the Atlantic. The Breakers Villas provide the perfect location to relax and enjoy the beach and all that Hilton Head Island has to offer.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The glass sliding door was sticking to the point it would not close, microwave went out , they never offered to bring one to put on the counter, the ice maker wasn’t working correctly, the electrical outlet on the island not attached to island comes out when you use it. No stopper in the bathroom sink .

Balcony light and light outside entry door were out- several comments about this in previous posts. Very little storage in bedrm- what was there was full of pillows. Curtain in living area needs to cover entire window. Bedrm window needs blind also to block light from exterior hallway. Tub/shower did not drain- had to turn water off multiple times to finish shower before tub overflowed. We bought Draino— it helped some. Kitchen sink drain was nasty- we got stuck on gunk off and it looked a bit better.

The positives: The location of the property in Coligny area was perfect for walking, biking and access to shopping, restaurants and the beach. Our unit faced the ocean; the balcony was perfect. The interior furniture and decor were very nice. Plenty of cookware, serve ware and dishes provided. Staff was responsive to requests; most were addressed.The challenges: It’s an older hotel, with older hotel issues. The pool was very small; no separate pool for adults. It appeared property upkeep is not regular. The vertical blinds on the sliding doors were in shambles and unusable. The bathtub/shower drained so slowly that we showered in ankle deep used water. The toilet handle inside the tank broke, so it was manual flushing until fixed the next day. The light bulb in the exterior entry fixture in dark exterior hall was out and never remedied. A secondary chain lock on the door had no chain, but was fixed same day. The bedroom was very small, had no closet, and no room to store suitcases once unpacked. My husband lived out of his suitcase in the kitchen. Prepare to pack light or put suitcases back in your vehicle. The bedroom didn’t get A/C as well as the rest of the unit, so the ceiling fan was necessary. Finally, strict instructions are given that the door lock code would stop working at 10:00am on checkout day. Ours stopped working at 9:00am when we were packing up the car, and moving in and out of the unit. We expected more from a HHI oceanfront offering.

Fantastic location! Beautiful view of beach from inside and on the balcony of the property. Walks on either side of the balcony blocked the wind and so with the sun shining in, even in February we could enjoy being warm. I would stay here again.

Great location. Love the addition of the elevators. We were granted early check in which was wonderful. Really appreciated that. Sliding doors need work- very hard to open.

It is a good location in the complex, with great views. It was clean, comfortable and had a nice layout. The kitchen was attractive and had good amenities. The deck flooring was a newer synthetic wood and was smooth and comfortable. The bottom line is we will return and that says it all.

Great locstion

Location was great. Property was well furnished, nice touch having extras like towels, bags, etc for our convince. Bathroom and kitchen was very clean but the rest of the condo could have been better. Was disappointed that the tv was not a art tv, we like to watch Netflix and prime in the evenings.

Great Location

Our stay was great. We had a wonderful time. As far as the room goes it was very comfortable and clean. Had everything we needed. The shower was GREAT. A combination of the water pressure and the shower head. Best ever. The sliding door to the balcony was really hard to open and close but we managed. Perfect location for the beach, shopping and all great restaurants were within walking distance. Parked when we arrived and never got in the vehicle again until we left. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location

Enjoyed the view, beach & short walk to restaurants. Had a power outage & lost internet for a few days but rental company was very helpful & got us up & running. Balcony sliding door was difficult to open, track needs cleaned or oiled. Took a few days to figure out combo washer/dryer. I would recommend this place for a couple, not someone with kids.

Great Location

Small condo suitable for 2 people. Great location and super convenient to beach. Condo nicely fully equipped. The dryer didn’t seem to dry properly so not sure what was going on with that. Bed and furniture is a bit aged but trip was really about the beach. I was able to reserve this condo after another rental in this same building fell through so it was not my first choice but it served its purpose.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was wonderful and view was great. We walked to the grocery store, shops, ice cream paroles and restaurants. The condo was too small for my family. Also Would have liked if there was a few more things in the kitchen, such as salt & pepper, plastic wrap etc. We went to the pool everyday and every evening and I don’t think it was cleaned the whole week we were there. Garbage by the pool was overflowing for a few days before being emptied. Over all we had a good week.

Great ocean view & location! Nice bedding. Unit needs attention.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Thoroughly enjoyed the location, very short distance to beach, bike paths, dining, shopping, parks. Comfortable bed! Love the ocean view above the trees!The unit needs attention:1- Replace defective electrical outlet on kitchen peninsula (bar).2-Replace defective outlet behind end table closest to sliding door.3-bathroom sink drains VERY slowly.4-Need better written instructions about TV sound. Two controllers control sound, much time wasted because one controller was muted5-Tiny bathroom needs more door or wall hooks for towels, etc.6- Need plastic garbage bean liners provided upon arrival.

Location, Location, Location

The condo was beach front with a great view. The condo is great for 2 people. A few minor items keep me from giving the property a 5. They were not big but they did exist. The ice maker produced good quality ice but the ice turned into one big mass by the end of each day. Turned freezer colder but it did not help. The WiFi only worked about 50% of the time. It came and went each day. The tv should be upgraded so that you could use streaming apps. I would rent this condo again without hesitation but correcting these small items would enhance my stay.
