Our family has been to the Smokies every year. We love this neighborhood. We have stayed in many cabins in the neighborhood but this one allowed us all to stay together. We had plenty of room but also spaces to be together.
The beautiful house is amazing. Huge 6 bedroom house with spacious rooms on 3 levels with a gorgeous view of the sun coming up over the mountains. The teenage and college age grandkids loved the heated indoor pool, pool table, multicade game device, large theater room and spacious kitchen area and table for family games. We were never bored!
The hosts were easy to get ahold of and answer any questions we may have. The property is beautiful and all rooms come as advertised. Definitely recommend this home for any large family / friend gathering!
The house was perfect for our trip and our needs. Accommodated everyone great. Super easy to communicate with host. Checkin/out was easy. Great location. A few large ants in a bathroom, but easily handled and to be expected in a home in the trees. Would stay again.
Went in January, got luck had two of the 5 days near 60 degrees other days near 40 degrees. Nice place to relax, and also plenty of things to do near by
Gatlinburg/pigeon forge is our favorite. We go frequently! My 3 and 5 year old can be hard to keep at the cabin when they know there is so much to do on the strip, but the heated pool was perfect. It being 3â in the shallow and 5â in the deep allowed us to relax in the pool with them while they played, without having to go go go!
The house is so beautiful, plenty of room for everyone, bathrooms in every bedroom, pool hottub are a bonus. That was our best vacation and we will definitely be back. The host are amazing, the respond so fast if you have any questions, they walked me through the whole process since this was my first time on this app. I highly recommend this house!!!!
The house was very nice. We did have some minor issues with 3 water leaks and 2 faulty outlets. Also the railing was broken, but they fixed it after we told them about it.
We arrived at the beginning of July for our family vacation. There were various ages from 4 months old to my parents that are in their 80's. The house nicely fit the 13 of us. We had a great time using the indoor pool, billiards table and theater room. The house was stocked with everything we needed and located close to all of the attractions we had planned to see. The outdoor pool was located just a brief walk down the road. I would definitely recommend this location for any large family wanting to stay together and see everything both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg have to offer. The owners are super nice and had great communication with us the whole time. I highly recommend this cabin for your next trip!
We rented the cabin for 3 nights for 4 families, for a total of 8 adults and 8 kids. We had plenty of space, and the kids loved the pool, hot tub, and pool table. Overall, it was clean, but I do think the cabin is in need of a deep cleaning / refresh. There was a layer of dust on unused surfaces (bottom shelf of coffee table, mantle, etc.) and cobwebs, and the basement furniture, beanbags and carpet are in rough shape. There were also missing items in the kitchen, such as a skillet with no power cord, which made cooking for 16 people tough. Communication with the hosts and the location were great for our purposes!
This cabin was big enough for our 3 generation family of 7 vacation, ranging in ages from 17 to 83. It will also accommodate 3 to 4 couples with kids. Perfect layout with 2 king suites on main level, 2 king suites and 2 queen suites with 2 queen beds in each room upstairs. Loved that all of the bedrooms had their own bathroom! Downstairs on ground level is a theater room for 9, pool table, arcade game and your own private inground pool! Separation of recreation area and living space was wonderful especially for older kids and teens to have their own space without disrupting the older generation in the living space. We have been visiting the Smokies for over 30 years, and this has been the best cabin for space, step in showers in each bathroom( great for elderly/aging) and location. Less than 2 miles to the parkway but you still get the experience of a cabin in the Smokies! Will definitely stay again!
The cabin was dirty. There were used band aids, hair and even a banana peel laying pool side. The TV in the pool was broken. Most dishes were visibly dirty but the plates were all stacked with water in between, and led to a huge disgusting mess spilling all over my daughter in law. The floors and can I eat were filmy and sticky. The hot tub water was oily and had not been cleaned. The host responded promptly with an apology and informed me how to send him pictures of some of the details. Then the next response was thanking me for my stay and asking for a 5 star review. We made the most of the trip but I visit the area annually and this was my first ever poor experience with lodging. One of my family members is immuno compromised and that made the lack of sanitation huge concern during our stay.
I have thought about this for a couple of days because I hate writing negative reviews and wanted to be measured. The house was very cool but it was not clean. The pans had caked grease on every single one of them. The countertops were so gross that I had to clean the entire kitchen before using it. I realize the maids were just there but they missed coffee filters in the pots, the dust was so bad on the furniture that I ended up getting something to clean that as well. The floors were so sticky that I wouldn't walk around in my socks. The pans and dishes looked 30 years old. The house is fantastic and the location is great but I would suggest a better cleaning company and maybe a Designer to help update it a little. Throw away the current bakeware and cookware and get something new in there.
This was the perfect house for our extended family to stay for a weekend getaway. It was conveniently located to Dollywood and other activities. When we were at the house, we all enjoyed the pool, hanging out on the porch and game room. Highly recommend, especially for larger groups!
I recently lost my husband. To relieve our pain, I brought my four children, their spouses and 8 grandchildren to this residence for a week over Spring break. The ages ranged from age 2 through 10 (kids) and their thirty something parents. The kids loved the pool, the hot tub and the home theatre. There was more than enough room for all of us. It was very comfortable and nicely furnished. My only complaint, not handicap accessible. Other than that, I would highly recommend this place.
We chose this property due to the easy access to everything both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge have to offer along with the fact that it's size and amenities are great for large families like ours.
