In Bostonâs famous South End neighborhood, on a pretty tree-lined street, you will enjoy this cozy one bedroom apartment one level above the street. This adorable unit offers TWIN BEDS THAT CAN BE MADE INTO A KING plus a full sleep sofa in the living room and a twin air mattress. It includes hardwood floors throughout, a full kitchen (note: the refridgerator is a small, under the counter size, not freezer), full bath with a shower, and access to free laundry in the building. It is a quick walk to Copley Square, the Back Bay, the Prudential Center, the Back Bay subway and Amtrak, many shops and the best restaurants in the city. It is within a 12-minute walk to Washington Streetâs silver line to the Boston Convention Center. All utilities, Cable TV, WIFI, linens and kitchen items are included. We reserved and paid for the stay almost six months in advance. The owner called the day of check-in and asked us if we would be willing to stay somewhere else âwith a nice pullout couch insteadâ (area not specified!) because she double booked the property. Needless to say we declined. Giving one star because cancellation and refund went flawlessly.
This was our 4th time to visit Boston and once again it did not disappoint! The brownstone was in a great location, walking distance to restaurants, grocery and public transportation. Photos are accurate posted on VRBO. The bed and bedding are very comfortable. Would recommend and would stay here again!
This review is written by my daughters boyfriend since the trip was a gift for my daughters graduation: This property is nestled into a beautiful area of Bostons Back Bay. Right outside is a very pretty walking path as well as a dog park and regular park. It is also walkable distance from pretty much everything we did in the city. As for the apartment itself. It is exactly what we were looking for. Very well kept and very pretty interior that makes a cozy home after a day in the city. We ran into no issues during our trip and even said if we decide to come to Boston again, we would want to stay here again.
I felt like I won the lottery ticket when I stepped into this adorable home. Itâs all about the location and this place has it. Itâs a corner unit and the views of gardens and watching people out and about walking their dogs. No need for a car rental walk to everything. I will definitely get this place again.
This little gem was the perfect spot for the family and I. Walking to distance to all the good stuff and just far enough away to avoid all the city noise. Our son loved the 2 park options within an 8 iron of the front door! We'll be back for sure.
Dreamy street so walkable to our favorite places. Loved looking out over the private neighborhood park and enjoyed the spaciousness within. The kitchen was great for our take out. A great find with the sound of subways passing underfoot. Looking forward to a return trip.
My daughter and I really enjoyed this brownstone while touring colleges. It was the icing on our trip. The location is ideal. The neighborhood is so cute. There are lots of great restaurants w/ in walking distance. We couldn't of asked for anything more.
My daughter and I had a great stay, and overall we had no complaints. The site of the home is a perfect location if you like to be near shopping and the train. The area is safe and has many restaurants to choose from. We came for a short visit with old friends, as I used to live in the area years ago, so it was nice to be back! Boston is a GREAT city! Overall, we had a great stay.
Property is well maintained and located in nice neighborhood. I liked listening to children and dogs playing in park just outside the window of the apartment. There were plenty of restaurants and green areas nearby. Host was also responsive if we had questions. Hope to visit again.
This comfortable apartment is located close to the SW Corridor Path which we walked daily. The neighborhood is charming with many flowering gardens and mature trees. It is easily accessible by foot or public transportation to many of Boston's attractions.
This is a very cute apartment and its location is fantastic in a pretty street, next to lovely gardens and so close to the amenities of the city and the T. Itâs super convenient. The building is quiet, well-kept and historic. The property manager is efficient and helpful and the check in process smooth. Itâs a comfortable place to be, but there are a few details which are not OK for the price point. The shower is particularly weak and the bedroom feels rather makeshift, with collapsible bed-frames, low-quality bedding and a rather bleak, unloved look.
Wonderful property within walking distance to many attractions, including Fenway Park. Cozy, clean apartment with attention to detail in making your stay pleasant and comfortable.
Excellent property in perfect Boston location. Apartment was perfect for our stay. Quiet park neighborhood located close to public transportation, airport drop off and pick-up to Logan, great shopping and safe neighborhood. Would highly recommend for your stay in Boston.
