The Alley at North Beach *Bowling Alley & Pool*

Historic 5 Cedarwood Ave was originally constructed in 1910 as a library and bowling alley for Fort Screven on Tybee Island. Immediately adjacent to the Historic Tybee Barracks. The 2022 restoration of the building included 6 bedrooms (2 master suites), 4 full bathrooms, new modern bowling lane with automatic ball return and pin setter, bright white kitchen with Carrara marble counters and island, separate mini bar, in-unit laundry, a heated pool, and private yard.

This is the perfect multi-family getaway tucked in the historic Barracks area of North Beach on Tybee for up to 14 people total. The spacious main master suite in front of the cottage boasts a large en-suite tiled bathroom, large closet, 50" Smart Tv, and tall ceilings. The bunk room is the perfect hideout and quiet spot for kids and teens to get away. You'll find the main great room with wide open kitchen, bowling lane, dining area, and massive smart TVs the perfect family gathering spot to bowl, watch movies and sporting events, and relax after a long beach day or dip in your private pool.

The house has a second master suite with en-suite tiled bath tucked back in the corner which is a nice private retreat. Additionally, there are 3 more bedrooms on this side of the house; 2 queen bedrooms and a (2) twin bedroom.

The side yard is where the outdoor fun happens! A sizable heated pool, outdoor shower, lots of lounging space, a full bathroom, Tesla charger, and a commercial-grade ice maker, are all amenities to make your Tybee stay complete.

There is also an on-site Golf Cart that is separately rentable per day (rentable days are 10 am to 10 am). The link to rent the golf cart will be sent when a reservation is made for the house.

Pool Seasonality: The Alley Pool is open year-round. It is only heated on the following date range:
October 1 – December 15
March 1 – May 30
The pool is not and will not be heated from December 15 through March 1 as the air temps are too cool to maintain an adequate swimming temp.

We as owners and managers are happy to provide this fun amenity in the house and we work hard to maintain the functionality of the lane. Any damage to the lane or equipment will result in immediate cancellation of your stay and forfeiture of all monies paid, and fees to repair any said equipment will be assessed. *Any outage of the lane during your stay due to power outage, lane malfunction, equipment malfunction, etc, will not result in any refund of any monies whatsoever.*
