perfect little house in a perfect location. we loved the backyard, the huge avocado tree, and the sounds of the chickens. the kitchen was spacious and fully stocked, the shower was luxurious and so satisfying. would stay again.
Pros:Greatly built ADU with a private entrance. The instructions were clear for arrival and the amenities were great. Andy had coffee available and the washer/dryer was major plus for us. There was plenty of blankets and items in the bathroom. There wasnât any paper towels or a sponge to wash our dishes, but Iâm sure that was just an oversight. The place is close to restaurants, the beach, and some great trails.Cons:The listing didnât specify that the owners were onsite. We normally donât book places where the owners are onsite as we like our privacy. My wife wasnât to fond of the area. In our two nights here, we heard gunshots and fireworks. The back door was not able to lock and we had to put the moveable island in front of it to keep the door from opening during the winds. The bed wasnât very comfortable, but that could also be a personal preference.
Very nice and cozy. he best stay we've had in Ventura and we have been in amy of the local hotels previousely. Everything we needed and more. I parking space in front on the curb was provided. It was quiet and private.
This is a nice little one bedroom back house on Andy and Amanda's property. You are only a mile or so from all the main attractions of Ventura and they provided some nice recommendations on places to go for me.
We had a wonderful stay at the Cozy Casa! Andy & Amanda were wonderful hosts, even letting us check in early to help us out! The house is in a wonderful location, near to downtown and was clean, quiet and exactly as described. Would definitely recommend a stay!
The place was very private and clean. It was well-equipped with everything we needed. The location is very close to the beach and the walking district. The hosts were very nice. We would not hesitate to stay here again if weâre in the Ventura area!
Beautiful unit behind main home. Perfect size for two adults, potentially one more on futon. Very clean, brand new appliances, beautiful kitchen, small private patio. Great location-close to downtown Main Street and Marina. Hosts were very communicative and helpful with favorite hotspots.
Really enjoyed staying at the Cozy Casa in Ventura for a short girls' weekend. Location was close to Main St and downtown, and we had many great Mexican restaurants to choose from. Very comfortable beds and the perfect size for two adults or a small family. Highly recommend visiting Channel Islands too! Great hosts!
This property was very nice. It was a perfect little spot for me to stay. It had a beautiful bathroom and everything you could need in the kitchen if you were choosing to cook. If not, there was a cute personalized card with restaurant recommendations. The owners were very organized prior to check-in about how everything would go. I will say they could add a few more photos of the outside gate entrance so it is more clear where the location is. Overall, lovely place & I would stay again if Iâm going to be in that area.
Check-in was easy, place was really clean and new, and amazingly equipped. Hosts left a kind note, wine and chocolate. They had everything we needed, including some basic pantry items which made it super easy. Nice outdoor area with chairs and very private. A little oasis which made us feel quite safe. However, the neighbourhood didnât feel super safe and we didnât feel comfortable walking around. All in it was a great stay, despite that drawback.
This Ventura stay truly is a gem. Location is close to the downtown Ventura and beach, which was a major plus as we were in and out of the downtown area throughout our stay.
We actually ran into Amanda and Andy as we were unloading our car and were warmly greeted with smiles and pleasant conversation. When a concern arose, we reached out and Andy prompty offered help, which was a plus because sometimes hosts can be hard to reach.
The casa itself has a private entrance and patio area, making it a perfect spot if you are looking to just relax and unwind both indoors and outdoors. My husband and I wouldn't hesitate to come back for another stay!
Our stay at this âCozy Casaâ started with a warm welcome by the host, who lives in the main house. While on the same property, the adorable unit is completely separate from the hostsâ home. It is in an older but nicely maintained neighborhood with a private secured entrance a long way from the street. We felt safe, and it was quiet. Parking is on the street, but we didnât ever have trouble finding a spot. Everything in the house looks brand new, is nicely decorated and is super clean and comfortable. The lovely patio is shaded by a huge tree and is lit up with beautiful white lights. It was the perfect spot for us as we visited with family in Ventura, and we will likely book the cozy casa again when we come into town.
