Great Trip

We actually had multiple families staying in different condos here for vacation. Easy access to beach , pool, walking distance to restaurants and stores. Our condo was updated, clean and had Beautiful views!

Decent but Dated

The unit was decent, but dated. The bed was comfortable. The shower pressure was good. I liked the area. Lots of food options just across the street. The view from the balcony was great.

The location was amazing. I don't mind that things are outdated, but they should be clean. The toilet tissue holder is rusted, the two medicine cabinets in the restrooms are rusted. The shower curtain had mold on it and the bathtub barely drained. The toilet in the master bath ran 24/7.

The property was great. Easy access to the beach and pools. Our balcony door was stuck and we couldn’t get access to the balcony for two days. Once that was fixed everything was perfect!

Disappointing

Three months ago booked place overlooking the beach. We were moved to a condo looking over a golf course. No beach parking, well very very little. There was a beach shuttle but it was very busy.

We had a very nice February at Perdido Sun. The unit was as stated. It was very basic but it was comfortable. We did not cook much but if you are a cooker, you will want to bring all that you will need. We found that the ladies at the counter were not very friendly. We would come back here.

Summer beach getaway

Southern rental immediate took care of bathtub not draining and toilet continuously running. We were pleased with cleanliness of floors and baths. Unit 410 is in dire need of facelift. Paint entire space, replace sofa, loveseat, mattress as they are sagging along with dirty rug in living area. Perdido Sun is a great location, but would not book this unit if you are looking for comfortable furnishings.

Perdido Sun

The condo was nice had a great view! Although upon entering there was a musky smell. Also the tile floor was very slippery. But the worst part was parking. Only had 1 car. First night was OK . Saturday night after being gone all evening to a concert come back at 1145 pm and no parking available. Security held up a pass for me to go to offsite parking. I chose to pack my stuff up and leave.

Not Good

Unit was very poor and rundown. Tub had no way to hold water in, same on sink in master bath. Light bulbs out in dining area . Refrigerator handle very dirty, rug in den dirty and stained as well as couch. Toilet in half bath ran constantly til I fixed it. Balcony furniture dirty and rundown. I would never return here if all units are like this one.

Perdido Sun

Overall location is excellent. All condos view the Gulf. Community areas are very clean and well maintained. Wonderful indoor and out door pools. Easy beach access. Extremely friendly and welcoming facility folks! Love the ease of checking in and out. The condo itself needs some upgrades. Sofas are worn and uncomfortable. Bedding should be replaced (there were stains on comforter and shams) or at least thoroughly cleaned between each renter. I understand with sand and salt it can be difficult to keep clean but a more thorough, deep cleaning is definitely needed. The mattress should be replaced as it’s a bit uncomfortable even with the added eggshell. Kitchen is in great shape with well working appliances and everything needed to cook. May want to add a knife sharpener. Possibly add a drying rack for the patio and a laundry basket. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and will most likely stay at this complex again, if not this exact condo.

It was very nice, however, there was some kind of condensation that kept the floor wet at the end of the bar between the kitchen and dining room area. We had to keep a towel on the floor because I slipped a couple of times.

Tropical storm -only one day stay

Storm coming in when we arrived. Planned and paid fir four night but only stayed two due to weather. Not much to do in area. Indoor pool closed at property and terrible sleep sofa old outdated furniture etc

Loved the unit. There were only a few things I found that the owner my want to change.

The kitchen needs more than one towel and small dish soap. There is also a small area at the kitchen side bar where the trash can is that is so slippery and dangerous. I ended up using a bath towel to use as a rug. Other than that we had a great view and time.

Unit was fine, a bit outdated like others have said.

Master bath and half bath very annoying to have the fan turn on automatically when you turn on the light, shut this off! Also master bath toilet roll holder won't stay in place, very annoying as it fell off all the time.

The condo is perfect! The location is great too, you can walk across the street for food and ice cream. The beach was awesome 😎. We stayed in Unit 401.
