We enjoyed our stay at this fully equipped condo . We have stayed in several of the condos at Arrowhead Point and enjoy the location and every unit has a private spa which is perfect
Great place, close to the lifts, fully stocked for enjoyment with the family. I give this place a 5 star. The owner was even more than willing to allow us the check in early. Thank you Canada!
Perfect size and layout for four. View of surrounding tall trees and the fireplace provided a very private and intimate setting. Absolutely loved the heated bathroom floors. Access to parking garage was a bit awkward but heated and close by. That said, no need for the car as the stop for the shuttle (which comes every 15 minutes) is only a 3 minute walk as is the ski trail to Blackcomb base. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
Unit was spacious and well appointed. Host facilitated checkin approximately 2hrs early which was appreciated. Others have noted the longer walk to the hill but we found it very reasonable (approximately 200 metres to short ski down to gondola base) which is probably closer than going to base and then walking in. The regular shuttle (every 15-20 minutes) also made regular main village trips for dinner quick and easy.
The condo is large, very well stoked and very comfortable. It is also dark, so for someone like me who does not ski all day, every day I felt like I was in a cave., and no sunlight hit the deck on the beautiful sunny days. And at least in March, this is not a true ski in/out condo, tho the free community bus is quite convenient.
The access to the ski hill was fantastic! It was easy for me to work a half day and head out to hop in the gondola and meet my family at the top. It was so simple to jump on the bus and go to town for ice cream and evening walks or dinner out. The Mexican Corner & Pizza Antica were recommended by locals and fantastic!
Overall a good unit for our family of 5. Lack of snow meant no access to hill (all shuttle bus). A well-stocked kitchen and bathrooms. A few minor housekeeping items: toaster right 2 slots not functioning, hand soap upstairs, missing mattress covers, blanket for pullout needs laundering. But overall very enjoyable!
Really nice place, several hundred meters to slopes. Very comfortable living room space with a great kitchen. Town is close by. Well stocked unit - best we've had on VRBO. Very responsive host. Comfy master bed -second bedroom was great for our daughter with separate bath. Nice washer and dryer...would definitely come back.
Place was great for my family (2 adults, 2 kids). Is 225 meters or 250 yards walk to ski hill.
Some things I liked... New fridge. Great hot water and water pressure. Spices, salt/pepper, etc in kitchen. Manager/Host was exceptionally responsive. I sent message asking about turning on fireplace (couldn't get it to work) and he responded immediately and offered to send someone over to look at it. Garage/parking.
What could have been better: Having a nice check-in book with directions on where to walk to ski hill, directions for TV's and fireplace and checkout.
Great location, easy access to the mountain , free village shuttle a great bonus.
Unit was clean, with all essentials. Property manager great with communication.
We will be back
We loved the condo- super convenient to Blackcomb base, short walk and we were skiing down to the lifts. Everything in condo looked as good as the pictures.
Great little spot for a week getaway at the mountain. Spacious for four adults. Everything worked perfectly. Hot tub was great and clean. Ski in/out was a tad bit of a walk but really not a big deal and if folks want they can free shuttle to the base. Owner was very responsive during our stay to questions we had. Only thing we needed was more snow!
Private hot tub, short walk to slopes, okay for pets
Would stay here again. Generous definition of ski in ski out (have to walk up the street to a trail behind a hotel, there is a trail back in, but difficult to find and slightly treacherous in the trees and unmarked). But it was still closer than most other places in the Village.
Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedding and a shower that feels like a waterfall thereâs so much pressure.
The hot tub was a pleasure. Little dated but very clean and easy to operate. It is in a private enclave that is both sheltered enough and has open air access. First day had 12â of snow and in the hot tub just had cute little flakes sprinkling in. Second day had a gorgeous blue bird view of trees and sky.
Pets accepted but not necessarily pet friendly. Extra pet towels, poop bags and an easier accessible place to take them out to would have been better and have been present at other locations we have stayed.
Overall quiet, comfortable and close to skiing.
1.4 mile walk to restaurants etc or a shuttle ride from the hotel up the street.
Good location. However needs some attention to the plumbing. Downstairs bathroom sink does not drain. When using upstairs shower water leaks into the living room.
Convenient parking and the shuttle service was handy.
There may have been a few too many stairs with a knee injury and crutches that i got while visiting. But ski patrol and medical care were great. The property was good for our needs. Kitchen was a bit small and toigh to move about with 2 in that space. TV reception was poor at times. Beds and baths were comfortable
Our family stayed at this lovely condo for the Christmas week and we enjoyed every moment of it. The location is very convenient to getting on and off the ski slopes. No need for a shuttle. However free bus transportation is available and the stop is very close to the complex. Living room is spacious as are bedrooms. Heated floors in the bathrooms were a huge hit. Unit was clean and everything was provided as described. And hot tub in the balcony felt like heaven after the day of skiing. Overall amazing experience.
We stayed at this condo from Feb 24 - 27, 2011. The minute we walked in the door we were pleasantly surprised. Lovely closed off mudroom in the entrance to store all our snowboard gear...and the rest of the condo was completely updated (loved the heated floors and dual shower heads in the main floor bathroom!!!) Even the free underground parking (including visitor spots) was a bonus! It's a little far from the village...but we knew that going in so we were pretty stoked to see the FREE shuttle bus stop just a short distance up the street...takes you right to (and from) the base of both mountains! Joe was a pleasure to deal with (a comedian in his 2nd life I'm sure...hahaha) and we had a blast. The only thing I think could have been improved was the hot tub needed a good cleaning (but that is to be expected somewhat when a place is booked solid during prime ski season) We still enjoyed a good soak after a hard day of boarding. Thanks Joe for everything...I'm sure we'll back! Dawn & The Vancouver Gang :)
