Pool open May 1- October 6!!!

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. The recently renovated Ranch features a private in-ground pool, sunroom, garage, grilling area and covered outdoor dining area. The house is steps ways from Georgetown-Lewes bike trail, which leads to downtown Lewes, Lewes Beach, Cape Henlopen State Park. We are located east of Route 1 and just just a few miles from Lewes beach!

The Space:
Enjoy one-level living in this ranch home, that has recently been renovated with new flooring and paint. Guests will have access to 5 of the bedrooms (one room is a pass-through) , 2 bathrooms, and 2-car garage. Locked off spaces are not available to guests.
The dining room has seating for 7-8 and has a patio door with access to a relaxing sunroom.

The large backyard is divided into two sections. Half of the yard is fenced and has a private pool, covered grill and dining area. The other half of the yard is grassy and has plenty of room for the kiddos to run around. Guests will not have interior access to any of the detached structures in the backyard.

Great location and house

We loved the house with the pool and hot tub in the backyard. Awesome location right by the trail which was great for morning walks or bike rides.

Nice Place

Pool, hot tub, multiple bedrooms, garage play area, and nice yard. Many of the bedrooms connect. Sunroom is gorgeous. Kitchen is equipped with pots, pans, and dishes. Loved the beverage bar.

Perfect for family gathering!

Host was very accommodating and responsive. House was perfect for a weekend getaway. Would definitely recommend to others and high likelihood we would return. The kitchen and living room are good sizes and the backyards were great for my pup! They were both actually bigger than i thought! Neighbors were very friendly and you can walk to the trail behind the house! It was a great stay!!

The house accommodates my family and everyone's needs very well. This was our second stay at the house and we always have a great time! Relaxing by the pool, biking or walking on the trail, going to the beach, or shopping at the outlets, there's something for everyone!

The location was great. It was within a short drive to multiple beautiful beaches, great restaurants, and the boardwalk. The property itself was awesome. It felt very private. It has an amazing backyard with a lot of amenities. The bedrooms were very comfortable. The whole family had a great time. The owner was great too. Very helpful and responsive.

Paradise Near the Beach

My family and I had a wonderful time at the Lewes Beach House. There was never a shortage of things to do from the pool, hot tub and comfortable indoor space, to the bike trail, downtown Lewes, US 1, the beaches and Rehoboth Ave. The owner, Brenda, was such an accommodating hostess. Any issues or questions we had throughout the week were immediately addressed. Thank you Brenda for a wonderful week!

Great place!

We are a family of 6 adults and 3 children aged 3-10. We all enjoyed the Georgetown-Lewes trail which was steps away from the house. We had a great time at Cape Henlopen which is just a short drive away. Also went to the Delaware Seashore Park and Rehoboth Beach and had a great time. Liked that the grocery store was so close, the neighborhood was nice and quiet. Loved the private yard with the pool, grill, fire ring and covered dining area. The kids wanted to stay in the pool all day. Host was easy to contact, answered all questions promptly.

We loved this house! It was the perfect spot location wise. Right down the street from outlets and grocery stores. The neighborhood was beautiful for morning/evening walks. The pool was warm and SOOO nice! I loved the backyard set up we found ourselves eating our dinner on the back yard patio table almost every night of our stay. The sunroom was one of my favorite rooms! The coffee cart was a lovely and needed touch. I enjoyed how the rooms were close to each other it was easy for us all to get ready together. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much!

The home was clean, spacious, and well appointed. We took full advantage of the generous coffee bar--and the ice maker! The kitchen had all of the amenities needed to feel at home, whether for a simple breakfast or preparing a large meal. The property was well maintained. Between the refreshing pool, the lovely landscaping, and the privacy overall, we could truly relax. The proximity to the biking trail was a bonus! Brenda was an excellent host. She promptly responded to all of my questions and made the rental process a breeze. Given the opportunity, we would happily stay at her place again.

Pool house

We traveled with 4 adults and 2 kids (2 year old and 5 year old). We loved the house and had a great time! We ended up spending most of the time hanging by the pool. It was beautiful and relaxing! We enjoyed cooking on the grill and relaxing in the hot tub too. We loved the coffee bar (that also included hot chocolate for the kids) This place had so many amenities; it was perfect! It was a very quick trip to the beach and not too far from Rehobeth Boardwalk so we didn’t have to travel long when we did get out to venture! The place was very nicely set up and very clean. Any minor issues or questions we had were responded to and addressed very quickly! We hope to go back again next year!

Un expect cleaning charge

The profile says dog friendly but book in house says no pets. When I went to clean up after dinner discovered dishes in dishwasher that I had to be cleaned, dried and put away. Baby bottles that had mold in them! When went to use grill outside there was NO propane The pool was dirty, and was not filtering properly Several ground pool lights where broken around pool on arrival that I took pictures off. Reached out to property manager and she told me pool was on timer. On next to last day, my 26 yr old discovered the breaker had been tripped to pool and reset it. The hot tub had no water=broken 2 weeks after stay I Get CHARGED for Excessive dog hair! Watch your credit card statement! Would not recommend staying here.

This is a retaliatory review because this guest is upset that I charged her for the pet fee for the dogs that she brought to the property without disclosing or paying a pet fee in advance. I only charged the pet fee retroactively plus the additional fee that cleaners charged for the extra time they had to spend vacuuming excessive amounts of dog hair off the couch. Dogs are welcome with a pet fee and disclosure so we can adequately prepare.

Great house in a great location

We had a lovely stay at this house, the space was great for our family and the kids loved the pool. It is well located to get anywhere in Lewes and Rehoboth easily and get back to without too much trouble with traffic. The neighborhood has a closed loop which I also appreciated for getting in a morning run without going on main roads. The only minor disappointment was that the hot tub wasn't working. I had booked a year out and it was listed as an amenity at the time, but it seems to have broken in the meantime. We did know this in advance because the listing was updated, it just wasn't broken when we booked. Regardless, the property was lovely and despite the weather also not cooperating perfectly, we had a great week! Would definitely recommend it to others. The only other thing is that there were two whole bedrooms we didn't need to use that could have slept an additional 6 people (plus potentially two more bed spaces that our kids didn't fill in the rooms that they used), yet the listing only says it can sleep 8. Since we are a family of 5, it would have discouraged us from considering this house if we were planning on coming with another family, which seems a shame since there is plenty of room for two families.

Fun, comfortable, convenient!

This house was perfect for our two families! It was clean, equipped with everything you need (except linens - we knew this ahead of time- which we rented from a local company), and the house was so much fun for our kids we didn’t make it to the beach as much as we had hoped. One adult even said we don’t even have to leave the house. Rehoboth was super busy Labor Day weekend, but Lewes was closer and Broadkill was a short drive. Both were fun and less crowded. We can’t wait to stay again. Thank you so much!

We loved the house and the location. It was perfect for our group of 6 adults just looking to relax. Neighborhood was quiet and the bike path was easily accessed. The sunroom and the backyard were very relaxing. Our only complaint is that we needed more than 6 coffee mugs. Other than that, it was a perfect getaway for our group.

A great place to stay

We had great time at the Lewes House. The house was very spacious and comfortable. Everyone was able to have their own areas to relax. The kids loved the pool and the outdoors sitting area. We were very thankful to have a host that responded to our questions quickly.
