Unit is part of a very loud multiplex, which wasn’t disclosed in the description. Our neighbors weren’t being unreasonably noisy, but we heard every closet door sliding open/closed, every conversation, every chair scrape across the floor, etc. The photos are accurate but I was hoping they were just bad photos: bedroom is sunken and gloomy; the only way to get natural light into the bedroom is to open the shade over the front door window, but with neighbors going in and out, there’s no privacy to do that. Walkway was covered in thick ice and we had to scoot across, Bambi-style. Sheets were clean but smelled musty. The whole place would be *okay* if we had paid a quarter of what we did for it. It seemed just old, flimsy and worn, especially for the exceedingly high price point and “cleaning fee” (we used the property very lightly, happily washed the dishes, took out the trash and stripped the bed as instructed… but the staggering cleaning fee feels like it’s just tacked-on revenue). Disappointing experience. I’d rather have paid to stay in a hotel.
