52 cozy log cabins nestled in the DownEast Maine balsam forest. Located 2 miles off route 1 for easy access but removed enough for peace and quiet. TakeOut located on the property for convenience during your stay.
We enjoyed spending a special weekend with friends
. WAA was excellent with providing a full weekend of activities for patriotic people.
Only problem was no hot water to wash or shower. This was problematic.
The location was great for star gazing, airplane flight path ID, and sunrises and sunsets.
The surprise was that there was not coffee maker in the cabin and the store/dining sport was not open at all on Monday. The food was great on Tuesday!
The mini frig and microwave were in the bedroom, the living room space would make a lot more sense.
Overall a good place to stay, if you are aware you will need your own dishes and coffee maker plus anything else you might want.
What a beautiful property hidden in the mountains. You can wake up to the sun rise. The staff is super friendly. The food is great. They even give out little toys to my sons. Best place for family vacation or romantic getaway.
