Imagine waking up to breathtaking views of the blue waters of Picnic Point and Eel Bay, the tranquility of a secluded island enveloping you. My Reverie, a charming 3-bedroom, 1-bath cottage nestled on the peaceful leeward side of Grindstone Island, offers a unique opportunity – approximatley12 families a year get to experience this private paradise. This is the truest island living experience you can have!

Accessible only by boat, My Reverie allows you to escape the everyday. Relax on the private two teired deck with plenty of seating with a high/low water dock, with deep watres that can accommodate boats up to 30 feet. Enjoy sunbathing, jumping right off the dock into cool waters or simply soaking in the beauty of the Thousand Islands.

Inside the meticulously maintained cottage, you'll find 3 season comfort with brand-new mini-split AC/heating units. Relax with Wi-Fi, a fully stocked kitchen with a dishwasher, a washer/dryer, smart TVs, and plenty of space to unwind. We welcome well-behaved children and pets for a memorable family getaway. Explore the island's walking trails, enjoy the provided water toys, or take a leisurely 45-minute walk to the nearby Grindstone Winery.

We are happy to recommend boat rentals, liveries, and the best access points for launching your boat. Guests are solely responsible for transportation to and from the island.

Please note: This is not a fishing camp. We prioritize a peaceful and respectful environment for our guests and our property. During peak season (mid-June to early September) My Reverie is available for weekly rentals, Sunday to Sunday only.

Wonderful Island Retreat

We stayed over Memorial Day weekend and absolutely loved everything about the house and the island. We really enjoyed relaxing on the deck, watching the water as well as all of the hiking trails on the island. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

My Reverie on Grindstone Island

Wow! We had a fantastic time! My Reverie cottage was perfect in so many ways-location was private, beautiful, accommodations, all things included like water, towels, bedding, paper products, kayaks, paddle boards, and the opportunity to bring our 2 beloved dogs Molly and Raena who loved their daily walks on the trails and non stop swimming. We fished and boated a lot too. We loved our walk to the Grindstone Winery and the many wine slushies that made the 2.3 mile walk back slower but funny. Highly recommend My Reverie if you enjoy water activity, boating, privacy and peacefulness. Brooke and her husband are outstanding hosts.

Paradise on the river!

This is our second year here and we hope to come for many more. We could not ask for more . The house is beautiful , clean and stocked with anything you could ever need. Absolutely lovely!

This property is in an ideal location on Grindstone Island. It is a 15 min boat ride to Clayton, a nice 2 mile walk to the winery, and on the leeward side of the island. The quaint cabin is well-appointed, clean, and functional. Communication with the owners is excellent. The pups LOVE the place and have room to roam, with plenty of things to sniff and bark at. If you are looking for privacey, this is it!

Great week at Grindstone Island

My wife and I had a very enjoyable stay at "My Reverie". The cottage is well stocked, very clean and just as described on the website. The waterfront is beautiful with crystal clear water for swimming and the location is very private and quiet; perfect for relaxing. There are also various trails and dirt roads for biking/running/exploring the island and, of course, there is the Grindstone Island Winery to visit. The communication from Brooke was prompt and professional as well. All in all, this is a great vacation rental and hopefully we will be able to make a return trip next year.

Fun Family Getaway!

House was clean comfortable and well-stocked with all the necessities and extras. Brooke was very helpful, responsive and easy to communicate with. The location is ideal - a secluded island getaway! Lots of hiking trails around the island for exercise and dog walking. We really enjoyed the family of loons that nests nearby, their calls in the evening made for a special "wilderness feel." Lots to do in the area. We spent a day in Clayton at the antique boat museum, visited Boldt castle, went white water rafting with ARO on the black river, and did lots of water skiing. Conditions for skiing are very good around the house with calm water all around the point. Overall it was a wonderful family experience and i highly recommend it!

The property was well kept and well stocked with everything you need (leave towels, paper towels, toilet tissue, and cooking supplies at home). It is perfectly located with a 10 mins boat ride to Wellesley and 20 mins to Clayton, on the Eastern end of Grindstone, with calm water, great for swimming. It is private, you cannot see another home, unless you are at the very tip of the dock. The little bay it is in, next to Picnic Point becomes a little party port on the weekends, and it is fun to see. You can walk the whole island with an extensive trail and road system, the winery is a 2 mile walk that is absolutely lovely. Wendy was an excellent communicator and quick to respond.

A slice of heaven.

My Reverie is aptly named; a wonderful, private and peaceful setting right on the water, surrounded by nature. Loons calling in the evening, swans swimming past and a gorgeous view. The home is impeccably clean, furnished with very tasteful décor and it’s well equipped with many thoughtful and modern conveniences, designed with attention to detail. We enjoyed utilizing one of the two kayaks available, a two-person kayak to explore. Located on the leeward side of Grindstone Island, My Reverie enjoys the calm waters of Eel Bay, with a beautiful view in a very private and tranquil location. We enjoyed our meals outside on the expansive deck, with the lovely flowering plants and a relaxing view. As an avid boater, I sincerely appreciated the excellent deep water boat dock, equipped with an abundance of quality cleats and fenders, lighting, water hose, and even a cleat on shore to fashion a spring tension line to keep the boat away from the dock. The host, Brooke Kerzner is amazing, providing excellent, prompt communication, and her desire for guests to truly enjoy this special property. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy My Reverie, it was perfect, and we’d love to return for a future stay!

Fabulous property for a small group and dogs

I booked My Reverie based on its location on Grindstone and the fact that they accepted dogs. Brooke was great with communication ahead of time, including getting us into the property ahead of schedule on Sunday which was great. The property is exactly as advertised. It is not large, but is perfect for a small family such as ours. The kitchen is extremely well-stocked, and the location, dock, trails, etc. can't be beat. Lots of privacy for the dogs to run around without bothering anyone. We hiked daily and went to dinner in Clayton several times (takes only about 10 minutes via boat). We tooled around the islands, visited my cousin on Comfort (our former family home island), and just generally had a great, relaxing week. Don't forget to take the walk to the winery! My only suggestion would be to make the booking Saturday-Saturday. Clayton Marina requires that boats be picked up on Saturday, which required us to come up two days early and camp at Wellesley Island SP. School started on Monday so we had to rush home a bit. It was a minor inconvenience. Thanks for a wonderful time, Brooke!

So grateful for our My Reverie experience.

From the moment we pulled up to the dock, we KNEW this was going to be a great stay. Bumpers already on both sides of dock, a great swim ladder (that our mini labradoodle learned to climb up on his own!) and the beautiful, easy walk up that led to the deck... What a VIEW! Just stunning. We've stayed on Grindstone Island for years... mostly at Canoe Point State Park. I've fished in front of the place for years as well, drifting and casting for Northern Pike and would never have imagined we'd experience the place in future years. Such a treat for our whole (all adults now) family. You literally could arrive with a suitcase and your groceries. EVERYTHING, and I mean everything, was there. There are so many little touches inside and out that made you feel so welcomed. Amazing attention to detail. Super use of space, VERY comfy beds, clean as could be. And having the A/C there was a real treat on some very warm and muggy days. My Reverie is an absolute wonderful place to stay in the 1000 Islands region. By boat, close to Alex Bay, even closer to Clayton. We loved the loons serenading us in the morning and sometimes in the afternoon and evening as well. There was also a pair of white swans(?) that paddled by in the morning and would return in the early evening. Magical. Our family of long time "River Rats" truly enjoyed an incredible week and made memories that'll last a lifetime. Thank you, Brooke. We're already missing My Reverie. -Scott & Kathy B.

Hi! My name is Brooke, my husband Phill and I bought My Reverie in 2022 after vacationing at it for several years and we are so very happy to share our Oasis with you! I am a Realtor and Broker just south of the Poconos and Phill works at our local high school. We are responsive and pride ourselves in our prompt, honest communication.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

It's EVERYTHING we were looking for when we decided to buy in the 1000 Islands! It's private, and easily accessible, with a deep water dock that you can jump off of! It's close to everything while being just removed enough from the vacationing visitors! Being on a leeward side of an island protects us from heavy winds, our bay is calm, and you can see Picinic Point off in the distance.

Staying on an island, in a private location is the MOST authentic 1000's Island experience a person can have!
