Total Renovation 300' from Chili Express

This condo was renovated from top to bottom the summer of 2023. Everything is new. Kitchen, bathroom all furniture, appliances, kitchenware and textiles.

The condo is 300' from the Chili Express lift and there is a shuttle that picks you up right outside during ski season. You are also walking distance to restaurants and shopping. We can only accommodate 7 renters.

Covered parking garage and an elevator are two major amenities that are rare in Angel Fire. The laundry rooms were renovated last year with new washer & dryer unit on each floor and there is an app to pay and will also let you know when your laundry is finished.

The living room has a large "L shaped" sectional that is big enough to sleep two children with one on each section. There is no sleeper sofa. This condo is perfect for a family of 5-6. There is a large TV over the electric fireplace so you never need to purchase firewood and can have a fire throughout your stay. Enjoy our free WIFI and the TV is set up with DISH Network. You are also able to sit outside and watch people walk by on either one of the two the balconies. This complex is pet free. So, please no pets.

The kitchen is newly renovated with granite, all new appliances, dishes, pots, pans and everything you need for a home cooked meal. There is a dining room that seats 5 comfortably and three at the kitchen breakfast bar.

The master has a king bed with a second electric fireplace and TV. It also boasts a private bath with walk in shower. The second balcony is off of the master bedroom for breakfast or coffee.

The second bedroom has two double bunk beds and a trundle. Perfect for a family.

There is a ski locker across from the elevator on the entry floor and a bike storage room in the garage that is secure and accessible with a key.

There are so many things to do in Angel Fire year round. During the summer, It is one of the best locations for mountain biking in the US with music festivals, balloon festival, hiking, horseback riding, all types of fishing and with a short drive, you are able to go river rafting, visit the Rio Grande Gorge as well as casinos and vineyards. Winter sports include, skiing, snowboarding, sledding and you are a day trip from Taos Ski Valley and Red River ski areas.

Balcony chairs and deck were covered in dirt. Elevator was out of order and the stairs were a pain with luggage. The sulfur smell from the hot water, which we followed instructions on how to clear was a bit off putting. Key didn’t work on the second day to the building for what reason I still don’t know. But overall condo was spacious with nice bed and bathrooms and a good value for the money.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations and resulted in a rating of less than five stars. Regarding the elevator, it should’ve been fully operational when you arrived. Repairs had been scheduled the week prior, between July 27 and July 29. Unfortunately, I do not know why the elevator was not functioning properly during your stay. I can confirm that the repair crew has since returned, and the elevator has been repaired and is working as of today. Concerning the patio furniture, it is outdoor furniture and is naturally exposed to weather and environmental conditions that can affect its appearance that said, we understand that guests enjoy spending time outside, and we have been working with our cleaning crew to include the patio furniture as part of the regular cleaning and maintenance process. The water quality issue is separate from our condo complex and is related to the municipal water supply in Angel Fire. We do everything we can to help mitigate the sulfur odor, but this is a community – wide issue that can affect properties throughout Angel Fire, regardless where visitors, choose to stay. We appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention. Guest feedback helps us improve, and we are committed to providing the best possible experience for future guests. We hope you will consider staying with us again in the future.

The condo was very convenient & recently renovated with updated kitchen, baths, furniture. When we arrived, the unit was clean but there was no soap in either bathroom. There is no air conditioner, which would have been fine because the nights in Angel Fire are quite cool, except the smaller bedroom windows did not open, nor did the sliding door in the living room open more than about 12", so it was difficult to cool the unit down at night. The check-in was also problematic as keys were not available as described. However, Wendy, the host, was very accommodating and was able to remotely open the door for us. We received keys from the property manager the next day.

I am so very sorry about the check in issues. We do not live in town and therefore rely on others to see things are done like replacing keys. I am just glad we were able to take care of those issues quickly and having extra toiletry items delivered without causing discomfort.

This is a wonderful place to stay for a family vacation. Very clean and nicely updated. Communication with Wendy, the host was exceptional. We enjoyed being close to the ski area and the shuttle picks you up at the driveway. When we return to Angel Fire in the future we would like to stay here again! Thank you Wendy!

Very nice property. Host ws very helpful and communicative. Expensive for what it is, but we booked way early and paid a premium. Everything worked as expected and super convenient to the lifts!

Right by the slopes, this is a great location. We picked up our rentals from Bluebird and it was all an easy process. The only annoying aspect of our stay was that there is no place on the property to put your trash. You have to drive it across town.

I apologize for the inconvenience regarding the trash. Because the entrance to the garage is so low and the building is so close to the road, we are unable to put a dumpster on property. Fortunately, the trash location is not far away and you pass right by it when leaving town.

Wonderful for families!

My husband and I took our two children, two and one, to Angel Fire after Christmas and Wendy’s condo was fantastic! Clean, comfortable, more than enough room and everything we needed for our little family. The location is perfect and the shuttle service is incredible convenient!
