Charming, small cabin. Cleverly placed instructions for optimal use. Close enough to the falls for walking, although there is no sidewalk. Certain aspects (shower and maybe bed) may be challenging ( small and/or tight) for taller folks. Hostess was very responsive to inquiries. Very quiet and clean, crisp air.

Everything was great! We were there on business. The only problem we had was the outside lighting was so poor, my helper fell because we left before daylight. He wasn’t hurt just stunned. Other than that it was awesome!

The place we booked called Tiny cabin, was well stocked with everything we needed. Includingextra blankets for the cold nights that do happen up in the mountains even in summer. Our host Bridget responded to every inquiry or question within minutes! She was so easy to work with. The area we stayed in was quiet and pet free! . I would highly recommend Bridget and any homes she offers because she truly wants you to have an enjoyable stay. We would do it again!

Bridget is a great host. She was quick to respond and was helpful in offering solutions to find a pair of snow boots.The cozy cabin was well stocked, things were clearly marked and it was a perfect place for our mini getaway.

This cabin was awesome, in a great location, and was immaculate when I checked in. Blackwater Falls State Park is literally around the corner so the convenience was a huge plus; I never drove more than ten minutes to get to any trailhead or parking area for the waterfalls. The host was very responsive and friendly when communicating. There were no delays in being able to occupy the cabin on time.The part I loved most about the cabin itself was how enjoyable it was to stay there and hang out. Most rentals seem to have mediocre setups that are "good enough" for people coming and going. However, here, the appliances worked, the internet was fast, the mini splits kept the place quite comfortable, the cookware was quality, and there was just about everything needed aside from actual food itself. I brought spices and a few kitchen items just in case and I did not need any of it. The main point is that if you stay here and the weather keeps you inside the whole time, you will still have a great time.My biggest recommendation to future travelers is to find a good grocery store within a reasonable distance and stop there on the way in. I'm glad I did because the Shop n Save in Davis was expensive and the Dollar General was temporarily closed.I certainly plan on staying here again.

A perfect little retreat from which to explore Davis, Thomas and Blackwater Falls. It was cozy and comfortable and the host was friendly and helpful. Really love being in the loft bedroom watching the sun come up in the morning.

Great stay!

The property sits between David and Blackwater Falls. It is located in a quiet community. It is decorated nicely, clean and has all the comforts of home. Very much enjoyed our stay and would most definitely return to the same place. A place worth the stay in an area that is beautiful!

The house was clean and nicely decorated but we had one towel and someone had burned their steak in a skillet and had done a poor job of cleaning it out.

Thanks for the feedback. I’m glad you enjoyed the clean and comfortable space. There are several sets of towels in the bedroom and bathroom closets for guest use, I’m sorry that was overlooked. The skillet had been tucked away by a prior guest and has since been addressed by the cleaning team. I’m always happy to help during a stay if anything is needed.
