Even though it was a condo with multiple levels, we never heard anything else! The pool and water park were super nice and the short walk to basketball and tennis courts was nice as well. Traffic was the worst part, but that has nothing to do with condo, that is just Orlando unfortunately.
Beautiful property with pool, hottube, games and store. However, this stay could have been better.
The queen bed requires a new box spring, as it sagged on the one side, the carpets need to be steam cleaned, no shampoo and conditioner in master, zero kitchen 'extras' such as coffee filters, coffee, tea, bottle opener, salt, pepper to name a few.
I would love to come back to this property, but it will be a different condo.
Have stayed in this community several times, this is the first time in this unit. The posting for the property is accurate and over all we were very pleased with the location. The condition of the unit was very good as well and the cleanliness we found when we arrived. We did have two small issues, first was an issue with the refrigerator. Someone had turned the unit off ( guess to save electricity while not in use ) but the closed both doors. There was condensation in the freezer which allow a little mold to grow. This would not have been an issue when the cleaning person visit after the last guests had used the unit. The second issue was a loud sound from the air handing unit. This is the unit that is housed inside the condo, we turned the unit off and then back on and the sound went away. We called for service and someone did visit but since the unit was no longer making " that sound " we decided to not have any further inspection of the issue at that time.
We loved everything about it this property. From the amenities, to the proximity to the parks and most importantly the comfort of the home. The rental was styled, comfy, super clean, spacious and exceeded all of our expectations. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and would definitely use this rental again in the future.
My family and I enjoyed our stay. The unit was clean and stocked with all of the amenities of our home. The pool area and clubhouse were close enough for walking. The only things I would change is a longer chain for the ceiling fans in the bedrooms. We hope to book this unit again in the future.
Weâve always stayed at Windsor Hills when we are in Orlando. This unit was clean & comfortable for our family. Just close enough to the pool to not have to walk too far but not too close to hear the noise. The master bed was beyond comfortable ~ I want that mattress! A few newer nice pool towels would make it perfect.
We were very satisfied with Yellow Starfish. The cleaning of this unit was better than any weâve ever stayed before. I am looking to book this unit every year for our family vacation
Get right to the point: security by entrance is on point making sure you have all the documents on file, very courteous in assisting vacationers through the line especially if itâs backed up, neighborhood is very clean and well kept, pool was crowded/maybe a little small for this resort size but readily accessible from my condo, tennis/pickleball courts clean and good condition, condo itself was very clean, very comfortable beds. Can do better: 1- Upon check in, security informed me they did not have me in their records and therefore I had to call Vacasa, mind you this was around 11pm. What happened to me was not new, bec security readily provided me a slip telling me about the problem and what I needed to do. I commend the security guard for assisting by calling Vacasa bec he got them on the line before I did and finally get me on their system so security would let me through. 2-
All trash had to be in 13 gallon bags otherwise they will not be picked up but when we got there not a single 13 gallon bag was provided and there grocery trash bags and other litter already left in our tiny trash bin by our door. Why was it not emptied, who left it there? Previous tenant, neighbors walking by and needing to conveniently dump their trash in our bin? So who deals with this? Now we had to clean up bec they wonât pickup unless it is on the bigger bag? I called and got connected to housekeeping and I asked to be provided with a couple of 13 gallon trash bags and some dishwasher pods to get started and until I can get some myself. They said they would. We agreed they would leave it by my front door as we would be out. I got the pods but not a single trash bag while my trash was piling up. 3- On day three of our 7 night stay there we noticed 2 bugs/cockroaches dying or in the verge of dying. One in the masterâs bathroom and one by the kitchen dining area??? Makes you wonder if this condo has been known to have bugs because itâs apparent it was bug treated before we moved in?? 4-Kitchen needs to have more baking utensils/measuring cups, etc. 5- Although we got the main TV going after 3 days of trying to figure it out, thereâs got to be an easier way to fix it or somebody from maintenance more readily available to help. Somebody did try to reach me and tried to talk it over with me while I was at a theme park because our availability just didnât work out.
