Just what we needed

Property was just as described, check in to the pool area was very simple, owner was very responsive and easy to get ahold of. Pool is within walking distance, beds were very comfortable, and there is a Walmart 0.2 miles away to grab essentials.

Perfect Condo Close to Disney!

Perfect location with an excellently maintained condo! The condo was very clean, with no issues during our stay. With lots of safe walking/running sidewalks, a community pool, and a playground, Windsor Hills is a great location. Allen’s communication was very quick and helpful when we reached out. Highly recommend staying here!

Amazing stay

Our family had an amazing stay. The condo was very clean, comfortable and suited all our needs. It’s close proximity to the clubhouse pool was a plus. My teens loved the pool area including water slides. Allen the owener made check in so easy and was very helpful with any questions. This is one of the nicest VRBO condos we’ve stayed in and definitely the best communication from an owner. We will definitely stay here again

Excellent place for visiting Disney parks!

This place is incredible! Booking and Check In/Out process was a breeze. Location to Disney parks was perfect and the space meets all needs for a vacation rental. It is clean, spacious, well equipped and in a great location. Little touches like reusable water bottles, blue ice pack in the freezer, washer and dryer in the unit, animal kingdom decor and the resort amenities are just a few things that made our stay so enjoyable. We will definitely book again if we are ever in the area in the future.

Wonderful

We had a great stay at Allen’s condo. A lot of time and effort went into decorating and it was fun to look at. The condo was in excellent condition. The furniture and flooring looked new and was very comfortable. There were nice touches around the condo that made us feel welcome, like a few K-cups to get us started. We would definitely stay here again.

Clean and convenient

Very clean but over decorated. Could use hooks for towels and luggage racks also would be nice to have a couple coffee pods to start off. Note the unit is on the 4th floor. Manager kind and very responsive!

Hi Tova, Thank you for your input. I never was asked or gave luggage racks a thought. I assumed guest just put there suitcases on the bed and unpacked. Thats something I will look into Ty. I sent you the information stating the Condo was located on the 4th floor along with the door code. I guess you over looked it. As far as coffee pods I can see you point. I will advise guest in the information letter we send to bring a few pods with them to get started. As you saw we are not a bare bones condo with a picture or Two hanging on the wall. Agreed heavily decorated meant for families with young children going to the parks. I will also include that information in our letter we send to renters. They can then make a decision bare bones or craziness at the Animal Kingdom. Again thank you for your imput All and all we hope you enjoyed your vacation…. Allen and Rosemary.

Perfect and one of a kind

Let me tell you... this place gets a 10 out of 10. My daughter and I stayed here for a couple of nights, however, I wish we could've stayed longer. The decour is awesome. There are these fantastic statues by the door that blow your mind. It was also extremely clean. Overall, the place felt very cozy and it like home away from home. Allen took the time to make a binder that had any and every question answered. It was very helpful when it came to navigating the property and also as well the area. This property is now saved under my favorite, and I will be making an point to stay there again.

Perfect location, great condo!

We had a great stay! *Condo is an easy drive to all Disney properties - 10 to 20 minutes at most. Also close to groceries and restaurants. *Beautifully decorated, felt very homey. *On the 4th floor, with 2 elevators. Very quiet. *Everything worked - we used the dishwasher and washer/dryer. *Very clean. *Gated complex is very secure, cars can't enter without checking in with guard. Very little wait. *We never used the pool, but my teens said it looked fun with a couple of slides. We did pop into the clubhouse for milkshakes one day. They had some groceries and meals for purchase. *Kitchen was adequately stocked for meal prep, nothing fancy. *Plenty of towels. *Small stock of TP and paper towels. If staying more than a few days, you need to bring some. *Owner was very responsive to our few questions. We couldn't find the check in codes once we arrived, but he answered the phone on the first try when we called him. We'd definitely stay again!

Great location, clean, and fun themed condo !

My family has stayed at Windsor Hills many times over the last 10 years. The condo is AK themed, and is beautiful. Everyday we would find something a new. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of linens, including pool towels. The twin bedroom is Mickey themed. Kitchen is well equipped. Screened Sun porch was very nice. It faces east, The MB shower has a hose end shower head. Hot water and great water pressure. There was a welcome pack with dish soap, a small tide, dishwasher tabs, etc. This is the cleanest condo I have ever stayed at in WH. The bathrooms, and kitchen were spotless. Property grounds are well kept. Plenty of lighting in the building. Pool area is very nice. We checked in at gate at 11:00 am. We handed over pass from Allen & drivers license. The guard gave us a parking pass and we headed over to office for pool wrist bands. Located our condo. We left and came back at 4 to get into condo. Easily went thru the gates with the pass. No problem getting in. All the info Allen sent regarding entry, WI FI, pool codes worked perfectly. The best part…the condo is 8-10 minutes to AK. A few minutes more to main entrance !

animal kingdom

Overall it's a good place to stay. Very clean, beds are ok. The one in the master is firm (which works for my old back). The second king seemed a little more worn (so I was told, I stayed in the master). No complaints from the kids in the twins. Owner leaves one small shampoo and conditioner(hotel size) in each bathroom (and soap), which is nice. The only warning I would give is to those with young children. The place has a lot of animal heads, pictures of cows and lots of knickknacks. If you have small kids be prepared to move somethings out of harms way. And frankly, some of the decor can be frightening to small kids. Our 9 year old was put off by some of it. And all the animal heads weren't appreciated by the vegetarian in our group. The kitchen is well equipped with lots of Disney themed wears. There was a set of salt and pepper shakers, however, they were empty. We bought a disposable set and left it there, but no telling if the cleaning crew will leave them. The a/c seems very good (but it was cool the weekend we were there.) Love being on the top floor, no overhead noise and very little from any neighbors. The owner was easy to work with and returned texts promptly. The only issue we had was not being able to connect to the internet. We were instructed to contact the property manager, but we didn't bother as most of our time was spent in the parks and we were only there for a few days. But if you plan on a remote working/ vacation, check it as soon as you arrive to make sure it's sorted. Overall a great place to stay, with good involved owners. Windsor Hills is one of our fav places to stay, very close to Disney, shopping and restaurants. There is a Walmart down the street, but I recommend making the 2 mile drive to Publix for groceries (Pub subs make for a quick and reasonable meal and you can order them on line!) and Target for needed items. There is also a 24hr CVS close by. It was a great weekend and we're already planning our next trip!

Had Its Ups and Downs

The location was great! It was super easy to access disney and get back each day. Living room furniture was comfortable. The bathrooms were mostly clean (more on that later)... The amenities were also awesome. We loved the pool and splash pad. Unfortunately, we arrived late at night and checkin was a lot more difficult than anticipated. We weren't aware that we had to have each driver registered with security ahead of time. Allen registered me, but we had a lapse in communication regarding the second vehicle we planned to bring. I'm willing to take responsibility for that as I should have reached out just in case once we decided to drive two vehicles. The late night security guard was extremely rude to my parents when they arrived - mocking them and telling them that he guesses they better find another place to stay. This isn't on the property owner, of course, just a frustration with the property itself as there was no way to get in touch with anyone so late at night. We ended up parking our extra vehicle at Walmart over night and Allen fixed the issue first thing the next morning. The other miss was the bed... it honestly felt like sleeping on plywood. After full days at Disney, guests need a comfortable place to sleep. Allen, please stop ignoring all the reviews that request you replace the mattresses. They're all bad, but the king mattress connected to the jack and jill bath is the worst thing I've ever laid my body on. The common spaces were clean. I'd also recommend replacing the comforters with quilts from a cleanliness perspective. Also the shower with the bathtub has a liner that is turning pink at the bottom and it's not waterproof.... so water leaks out, soaks the bathmat, and I don't think the bathmats are getting washed each time. It smelled foul. Trade the big plush bathmats for something easy to wash. There are also a LOT of niknaks out and about considering how many families are likely staying there with small children, so just be cautious when arriving. Overall it was a decent stay, buy I don't think we'll be back due to the mattresses.

Hi Amanda hope all is well by you. I would like to take a minute to address your issues. We are sorry about the issue at the entrance gate. I was never told by you of a second car. If I was told there would of been no issue. They are just doing there job to protect the community. As far as the mattresses, we found more people like firm than non firm. So we went with Firm mattresses that were purchased Jan 2021. And believe me they were not cheap mattresses. The issue with the shower curtain. It has a plastic liner, impossible to leak water unless you did not leave it in the tub area. If left out of the tub sure you will get water on the floor getting the bath rug wet. That wood cause a foul moldy smell. The pink color is actually a rust color do to the hard water that has iron in it. Again it was replaced Feb 2021. And gets replaced every year. What do you consider nicknacks? Was it the coasters on the coffee table, the few little things on the console table or coffee table? Sure I agree if you have toddlers and I was renting I would take a minute to move to higher ground as the condo is not baby proof. As you no you can’t please everyone and sorry we couldn’t please you. Good luck on your next rental. :-)

Lots of fun at the animal kingdom

Really loved our stay. Place was clean and had all the necessities we could need. So close to Disney even though we didn’t do the parks and the pool was amazing. Will definitely return.
