The Seagullâs Nest
The Seagullâs Nest is a large Victorian-style home originally built in 1900. As experienced short-term rental hosts in Belmar, we enjoyed remodeling this home to keep the spirit of an old Jersey Shore beach house while also adding all of the modern amenities that everyone loves to see in a vacation rental. With plenty of space as well as a central location near Belmar Marina and Main Street, it is the perfect spot for a getaway with family or friends.
FIRST FLOOR:
- Large kitchen with full range of appliances, breakfast nook, and coffee station (both keurig & classic coffee pot)
- Game room featuring a 55â Smart TV, a bar with 8 barstools, an arcade machine, and several other games and activities
- Dining room with a large table and enough seats for everyone
- Living room with couches and a Smart TV / Verizon Fios cable
- Full bathroom with a tub
- Laundry / mud room at the back entrance
SECOND FLOOR:
- Master bedroom with a king size bed, workspace desk, balcony with waterfront views of the marina, large in-suite bathroom with a stand-in shower, separate tub, and double sink
- Two additional bedrooms with queen size beds
- Full bathroom with walk-in shower
THIRD FLOOR
- Former attic converted into a large bedroom space with multiple sleeping spaces
OUTSIDE:
- Huge covered front porch with plenty of patio furniture
- Second floor balcony off of the master bedroom with views of the Shark River and Belmar Marina
- Large driveway with space for multiple cars
- Grass space at the side of the yard with a BBQ grill and cornhole
EXTRAS
- WiFi with multiple access points that provide high-speed connections throughout all areas of the home
- Four beach cruiser bicycles are included in the backyard shed for your use
- Four seasonal beach badges are included
You have the entire home to yourself and will be provided a keypad entry code to the back door, where there is a private driveway.
Itâs a short walk to Belmar Train Station, Main Street, Belmar Marina, or the L Street Beach and park area along Shark River.
Slightly less than one mile to ocean.
We live close by and are available if needed. We are also happy to provide any recommendations for the area
The home is in a great location not far from Main Street and a very short walk to the Belmar Marina area which has several waterfront restaurants, fishing charter boats, and other activities. However, unlike other areas of Belmar, this is a very quiet neighborhood full of year-round residents who are not used to seeing short-term rentals. We ask that you please be respectful to the privacy of our neighbors.
PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING:
- Minimum age for reservations is 25 years old, no exceptions.
- Reservation requests will not be considered from profiles that have not completed the profile verification process, including uploading a government-issued IDto the platform to confirm your identity.
- THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE. We are located in a quiet residential neighborhood and enforce quiet hours before 10pm. Parties or additional guests are strictly prohibited. If you are in violation of this rule, your keypad entry code will be blocked from access, and you will be asked to leave the property immediately. If you are loud or hosting many guests, our neighbors will contact the police. By booking this home, you are agreeing that you will be responsible for any fines through the town that might occur from breaking our rules. Noise violations are $250+ and there is a $265 per person fine for each number of people that exceeds the occupancy limit.
We apologize to be sticklers, but the town has some strict new rules in place to prevent partying in rental homes, and this is a quiet neighborhood. We appreciate your cooperation.
