Une maison incroyablement charmant et entièrement rénové à seulement 2 blocs de la plage de l'océan et de la promenade. Climatisation centrale, plus enveloppant venteux porche ouvert et véranda. Nouveaux extérieur de meubles en osier pour les repas et la détente. Marque de nouveaux colorés auvents de Jersey Shore.
Très spacieux plan d'étage ouvert avec des plafonds voûtés et de nombreux puits de lumière. Décoré avec goût, nouveau mobilier de salon et de tapis, de nouveaux planchers de bois et cuisine récemment mis à jour avec laveuse / sécheuse, lave-vaisselle, cuisinière à gaz. 2 entrées pour le stationnement hors rue, plus de garage. Douche extérieure, terrasse avec barbecue à gaz, pelouse luxuriante, un paysage magnifique et grand arbre de sycomore de l'ombre, une maison de vacances idéale pour toute la famille.

La maison dispose de 3 chambres à coucher complètes, plus une chambre maître dressing (ou bureau) à l'étage, balcon de la chambre principale et une salle de bain complète. Depuis le balcon à l'étage, vous pouvez repérer lac de Côme et l'océan. Au rez de chaussée 2 chambres et une salle de bain complète au premier étage pour un accès facile. Grande cheminée en pierre au gaz dans le salon, poutres au plafond, suspendu personnalisé escalier et lumières encastrées partout. Tout cela est dans un quartier calme de la famille avec des voisins amicaux.

Lovely stay- lots of room, with the huge screened in porch working well for family meals. Very quiet neighborhood, very dog friendly, and close to the dog beach! Owners are lovely and easy to communicate with us. The adorable red striped awnings gave great beach vibes! Looking fort next season !

Our extended family enjoyed a week long stay in this great beach house. The screened in porch was a highlight and we ate all our meals here—fun people (& dog) watching. Although we didn’t really need two parking spots, this was a plus. Also, the beach gear was plentiful and in great shape—we especially appreciated the beach cart. Close proximity to the boardwalk (4 minute walk) and Lake Como (3 minute walk) afforded lots of opportunities to explore and enjoy the beach. Doug and Suzanne were excellent hosts—prompt and efficient communication—and very accommodating. Many thanks! We’ll definitely consider a repeat trip to this wonderful property!

Great Stay in Belmar!

Had a great family vacation week at this lovely house in Belmar. Suzanne & Doug were the perfect hosts and were super quick to respond to questions. Their lovely house is just a few short blocks to the beach and to the beautiful walking trail around Lake Como. Great week and would definitely book again!

Paradise

Two blocks from the beach and a safe quiet neighborhood. The master bedroom suite was wonderful! If you have children, there is a small bedroom with a twin bed. The home is a paradise. I would definitely recommend this home for your vacation.

Belmar house was perfect for our 3 couples. Comfortable living room, large screened in porch with dining table ? Front porch and side yard sitting area provided many options. 3 blocks from the beach and 6 blocks from many bars and restaurants many with live music. A fun scene

Hi, We stayed at the charming cape for my mothers 94th birthday. It was the perfect place for our small family to enjoy the beach, a short walk down the sidewalk to the boardwalk that had a nice ramp up to it. The house had everything we needed and the hosts were very helpful. Thanks, Ray

Absolutely wonderful

This beautiful home with red awnings was an absolutely wonderful vacation spot for us! The location in a charming, authentic Belmar neighborhood couldn't have been better...close to the beach and all the happenings in Belmar but private enough to truly unwind. The house was lovely and bright inside and out, with all the amenities anyone would want. The owners were a pleasure to deal with and easy to communicate with. Can't wait to book again!

Our first time in Belmar and we loved it. The homeowners could not have been kinder & had outstanding communication throughout our rental process. The location of this house was by far the best part. Walking distance to the beach and a short drive (about a mile and a half) into town. The house was perfect for the accommodations we required and there was just enough space for the 6 of us (parents with four boys; ages 12 and 15). It is an older house (which is of course fine), and everything in it is older as well (furniture, beds, television). The house was clean, but definitely not meticulous and immaculate by any means. The corners of the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms were a bit dirty. Linens were clean but also very old. With all of that said, I absolutely rate this house 4 stars for its location, charm, and lovely homeowners. And we loved Belmar! After spending the last five summers in LBI, it was nice to see another part of the Jersey Shore.

Beth and family were great tenants... House was built last centry but completely renovated and new furniture and rugs last yr. brand new awnings,newbeach chairs etc .... The cleaning crew does 3 hrs of scrubbing before each rental. Susanne

Fun at the shore!

My family and I including our dog really loved this house! The pictures are accurate but the rooms are bigger than they appear. The beds were all comfortable. Loft space is very large. A/C, washer/dryer, outdoor shower and garage full of beach equipment were perfect, but the best feature of the home is the screened in porch! The awnings kept it cool and breezy so it was really enjoyable! The owners are very accommodating and responsive! Would definitely recommend!

Dori and the entire Tighe family were outstanding tenants who left our house immaculate!!! We rated them 5 stars across the Board. They were excellent to work with. For some unknown technical reason VRBO rated them 1 star in 3 categories and no star in a 4th...all in error. The VRBO customer svc rep (Liz) says they cannot understand why it happened or change it. But the Tighe's are 5 STars !!!!! Susanne sweeny

Wonderful Stay

Our week in this Belmar rental was lovely. The location was perfect and the house is as well kept as it appears to be in the pictures. It is also located on a corner lot, so the outside area was spacious and private. My favorite area of the home was the screened in porch where we enjoyed eating and spending time with our dogs. It was also wonderful that both bedding and towels were provided, along with everything you could need for the beach including beach passes. Our only complaint was that there was limited closet space and the mattress upstairs wasn’t the best. But overall, I highly recommend staying here and would most definitely return.

But lots of dresser drawers in all the bedrooms for casual wear, not hanging clothes. We bought new mattresses for 3 of the beds, will now look at the 4th. THX and best Susanne

Convenient location

First time at the Jersey Shore. The house was a 5 minute walk to the beach, as well as snack food options and a coffee shop. A huge ShopRite only a short drive as well as a Target and CVS. Belmar is a dog friendly place and my dog enjoyed the long walks around the area. A great lakeside walk is only 2 blocks away. The house was comfortably and tastefully furnished. Very clean. There was a beach buggy and other items one could use to have a great day at the beach. The beach has exceptionally clean bathrooms. It was a great beach vacation at this Belmar beach house.

Belmar Beach House

House is very neat and clean. Is exactly as advertised. Nice that sheets and towels are included. Lots of beach stuff included, too. Lovely outside porch with large table for eating outside. The house is two blocks from the beach, which is a great beach! One thing to be aware of, Belmar is a party town. We didn't know this before booking. There is a bar at the end of their street. Loud music, people talking outside till 2:30am, cars beeping horns. Very quiet Sunday-Wednesday. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, not so much!!!

Thank you Karin. We try to keep the house neat clean and comfortable. Sorry for the street noise. Belmar used to be a party town..now down to just 1 beach bar and much fewer group rentals. We encourage tenants to call the Blemar police if they hear any noise. The bar is required to have a Shush patrol patrolling te neighboorhoods.No issue Sunday thru Thurs usually.

Annual Powell Family Vacation 2024

This cozy little house was perfect for our small family of five. This is an older home. No fancy hot tubs, etc. but all of the bases are covered. We enjoyed making family meals in the kitchen and having our evening meal on the screened-in porch. The living room was also a comfortable space for us to gather. We visited after Labor Day and one or two mornings had a chill in the air. The host (Doug) helped us get the gas fireplace going and we could enjoy morning coffee in front of the fire. Our hosts (Susanne and Doug) were very responsive and typically on site within minutes of our texting a question. They went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. I recommend texting Susanne directly and bypassing the VRBO app. I experienced 24 hour delays with the VRBO app during check-in. The location was ideal for us. Walking distance to the beach, boardwalk and local ice cream shop. Short drive to a great grocery store and the Belmar train station. You may not be able to see the ocean from the house but, if the surf is up you can hear it, and a distant train whistle from the porch. So fun. Thank you Susanne and Doug for sharing your lovely home with us.

Great corner lot close to beach - walkable to so much in Belmar

Great location!! Charming home with character. Very short walks to beach, Belmar boardwalk, MamaLukes, DJais, Lake Como among other places. This home is on a corner close to neighbors, yet feels private inside! Neat living space. Wicker rockers on covered patio. Table for 6 in screened porch. Love the red & white theme through the outdoor furniture, the flowers, the awnings. Neat Little balcony off upstairs loft bedroom. Note: no privacy door to loft bedroom. Stone fireplace. Not a huge footprint, yet home felt roomy for the space. ***One thing to note before renting*** If you need to be able lock the doors to feel secure, check with owners first. We were unable to lock the doors/secure the home in the kitchen and the porch. While it’s a safe neighborhood, I would like to have known that beforehand. The owners were extremely responsive, so I suspect that this is something that will be resolved quickly. We loved being able to walk to Lake Como just a couple of short blocks away. About a mile long loop - very clean - and full of wildlife. Beautiful homes. We saw a swan family with 7 babies, a great blue heron, snowy egret, red winged blackbirds, etc. At Belmar beach, while walking along the clean, wide boardwalk, we saw dolphins jumping offshore! And watched them swim alongside where we were walking! Loved the location. We did go prior to Memorial Day, so I suspect “summer at the shore” activity hadn’t really started yet.

Thank you Susan for a great review. We really enjoyed having you. Although the neighborhood is very safe and family oriented, we do have lots of locks on doors. We leave two keys for renters to use fir front and back doors. We had our handyman come out and lubricate them all. Front and back doors have both deadbolts and handle locks that all use the same key. (The 2 storm doors have small locks which aren’t very secure. .. we don’t use those since main doors are very secure.) The 2 patio doors do not have dead bolts. We always lock them from inside. I'm retired and I live in Vero Beach, Florida 6 months a year and Belmar, New Jersey the other 6 months. We built a house on the Ocean just three blocks away. This cottage is my family home that I don't want to sell, but want to rent out to people who will enjoy it, but take good care of it.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This is a home that has been in my family since 1944. I spent all my summers growing up there, my parents spent their retirement years there and my children and now grandchildren spend time there. My husband and I decided to completely renovate the home in 1997, while at the same time maintaining the integrity of the style and charm of our home.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Being less than 3 blocks from the beach and two blocks from the lake. Having two lovely porches, one screened in for meals and entertaining. Having two driveways so there is never a parking problem. The property is one hour outside of Manhattan with many ways to get there: car, train, boat. Belmar has great beaches, boardwalk, restaurants, marina, minigolf......it's all here.
