Our 5-week stay in Salt Lake City was delightful! We rented a charming house in a fantastic neighborhood with easy access to the University of Utah Medical Center, just a 10-minute drive away. The house itself was cozy and comfortable, featuring essentials and two bathrooms - a regular one upstairs and a larger one downstairs. The steep stairs were initially challenging but became a great daily workout, inadvertently helping me build leg strength. The neighborhood proved to be incredibly walkable and vibrant.I would say that the neighborhood highlights are the Fresh Market, a one-minute walk was our go-to grocery store, offering an excellent selection of gourmet items. Also with a few main grocery stores in the area.Liberty Park, which is an 11-minute walk, and the surrounding neighborhoods provided wonderful walking opportunitiesThe area has numerous exceptional restaurants, with a diverse food scene whether it be Japanese, Vietnamese, or American food. The house is situated in a safe neighborhood, making us feel secure throughout our stay. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our rental and would highly recommend the experience to others looking for a comfortable, convenient home base in Salt Lake City.
The place was perfect for our family as we we needed to be in SLC for medical care. It was a short drive to U of U, and close to Zoo, Airport, and shopping. The size and amenities of this property allowed us to be in a warm home-like setting to prepare meals, relax, and spend time together while away from home. The hosts were attentive and easy to contact. Overall a great place to stay in SLC.
