The âLake Road Farmhouseâ 
The HOUSE
This charming farm house is ready for you! Avoid the hustle and bustle of life or work, and be less than 3 miles east of Ponca City proper. A newly remodeled, quaint house awaits to help you relax and unwind. Itâs a small taste of country with plenty of parking in a safe, fenced areaâplenty of room for your oversized vehicle, truck, jet ski, or boat and/or trailer, if needed. You wonât have to worry about neighbors, street parking, or space.
Conveniently located, this house is less than a 5 minute drive to the nearest gas station, grocery store, downtown Ponca City, Kaw Lake, Lake Ponca, Ponca City Refinery, and is only a 45 minute drive to both Stillwater, OK and Pawhuska, OK. Paved roads are available the entire way to the property.
The SPACE
The house has a small outside sitting area/patio to enjoy an evening sunset or morning sunrise, and includes a grill in the event you want to grab steaks at nearby Rikkiâs Market (delicious!) and grill out. A custom built fire pit with outdoor seating is also available for an evening fire - a true opportunity for some R&R in the country! There is a hammock outside to relax in plus a rustic picnic table.
The house interior includes a living room, dining room, kitchen, master bedroom, bedroom, mudroom/entry, and bathroom. The living room features a new 43' SmartTV with streaming capabilities (Netflix, YouTube TV, etc.). The dining room table features seating for up to 6.
The living room includes a new sofa sleeper that can be made in to a bed for extra guests. This two bedroom house is ideal for up to 4 people, but it can accommodate up to 6 if the extras are children and/or are aware that the space will be very crowded. **Please be advised that there is a fee for extra guests over 4 guests (see below for more information).
The kitchen includes a full size oven/stove, refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee pot, and toaster. It is furnished with dishes, cups, serving dishes, utensils, grilling accessories, cutting board, pots/pans, kettle, coffee mugs, and flat wear.
The master bedroom features a highly rated queen sized bed and the second bedroom features the same. Both include highly rated pillows as well; all are protected with mattress and pillow covers for your piece of mind. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo and includes shampoo, conditioner, and body soap.
An onsite washer and dryer are available for your convenience. (A maximum of one load of laundry is allowed per day unless prior arrangements have been made.)
Additional items in the house include a small library, board games, and limited toys. A pack-n-play can be made available upon request. If you have special needs, please let us know and we will make every effort to accommodate youâwe aim to please!
GUEST Access
Guests have access to the house, back patio, fire pit area, and immediate parking area located directly behind the house. A small single-car garage can be made available upon request. The property is located on a 10 acre lot, but access is limited to the primary, fenced area near the house.
OTHER Items to Mention
We make every effort to be accommodating and welcoming and want our guests to be pleased with their stay. We provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, wash cloths, hand towels, makeup removing wash cloths, first aid kit, toilet paper, laundry detergent, and linens.
We also provide paper towels, paper plates, and plastic utensils in the kitchen, as well as limited condiments (when available), and multiple coffee and tea options. (There is not a dishwasher in this house.)
If you use the last of a product, please leave the package out so that it can be replaced.
Free internet/Wifi is available during your stay. Please turn off the TV when not in use.
GENERAL RULES
Please do not make up the beds you sleep in; leave them unmade or stripped.
Please wash dishes you use, a drying rack and mat is provided.
Please throw away your unused food items and leave garbage bagged and set outside the door upon your departure.
We ask that you please treat our house with the love and respect that you would your own home.
Smoking and/or vaping are NOT allowed in the house. If you must smoke or vape, please do this outside only and be at least 10 feet away from doorways or open windows. Please utilize the appropriate receptacle and do not throw butt(s) on ground.
Please let us know if you are pulling a camper trailer. While this may be permitted, extra guests or setting up of the camper trailer is not.
EXTRA Guests
An extra guest fee will be assessed for guests over 4 people to account for extra cleaning, laundry, supplies, etc. Please be sure you enter the amount of guests accurately when booking. You may have a more than 4 guests visit, but they may not sleep over and must leave by 11 p.m.
You must be 25 years of age or older to rent this property.
Pets (animals of any type) are not allowed at this property. (Yes, this is a âfarmhouseâ, but it isnât for animals.) If you have an outside animal, message us and we will see if we can work something out.
Check in time is 3:00 p.m. or after and check out time is 11:00 a.m. At times when possible or needed, we are open to flexible check-in and check-out times, but please reach out in as much advance as you can so that we can plan accordingly.
Looking for THINGS TO DO?
Lake Ponca and Kaw Lake are both VERY close to this property! In fact, you can be at both within 5-10 minutes.
This property is about 2 miles away from a local favorite bar, âOdyâsâ. On the nice evenings, Odyâs has an outdoor bar area. More options near downtown Ponca City include the Grand Cigar Lounge and Astoria Blvd.
The Osage Casino is about 5 miles away if you need something else to do, or Axe Hole is a newer option downtown too. A little further near Tonkawa/I-35 (about 20 miles away) is "The Hub" which has a bowling alley, arcade, and movie theatre.
Ponca City is very rich in history and has incredible museums. If you have time, add these to your visit. For more information about events and activities, visit www.visitponcacity.com.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?
This property has been a special part of our extended family for more than 30 years. We purchased it recently so that we had a small farm to enjoy and so we could keep the farmhouse and share added memories here for years to come. We've enjoyed updating and remodeling it to make it beautiful and special. It was built in 1930 and has some fun quirks about it that make it very charming. It's special in that it reminds you of visiting your Grandma and Grandpa's house. With an oversized world, there's just something special about a beautiful small house! 
Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?
With this house being nearly 100 years old, it is beautifully unique. We've taken careful attention to keep it special but have also tried to factor in some energy efficiencies and modern day updates that people want and expect. A major benefit to this property is the location for sure. You won't find a better location! It is right on the edge of town so it's quiet as if you are in the country, but it literally is a mile from the city line. That's a win for anyone coming to Ponca City to go to the lake, a golf tournament, working at the refinery, or just visiting family.
