My husband stayed here for a conference and our two kids joined him for several days afterwards. It was a great home base for all the activities they did.
This is a renovated old home in a depressed part of town. I was given the wrong address and improper instruction about the lock box. I Called the property owner but did not get a response. once we found the correct house and figured out how to access the property we were pleased. Kitchen is well stocked and the home is very comfortable.
Hand held in the upstairs bath does not work and you need to let the hot water in the sink run while showering so that the on demand water heater has enough flow to work correctly.
Next time I go to a jaguars game I will definitely look to see if this property is available.
Really enjoyed the house and location for jaguars games. The property isnât in the best area but is tucked away on a block that doesnât see much foot or car traffic
Property was roomy, clean and charming. We walked to the Jaguar game and also to a couple of restaurants. There were some places in the area that had many homeless; I would not walk alone or at night. We did feel safe in the house. The property was very convenient to downtown area, and had easy access to freeways. One suggestion, a binder or some written info about how to work tvs, showers etc in the house. Also suggestions on where to eat, breweries in the area. Host was extremely responsive and we enjoyed our stay.
As a native of Colorado, we have spent the last 40 years visiting Jacksonville multiple times a year to spend time with family. We have watched the community grow over the years and are thrilled to have this property as our second home.
You will find the home to be well equipped and full of unique period-appropriate art and furnishings passed down through our family. It is quirky, fun, comfortable welcoming, and we want you to feel at home.
