Welcome to the Dillon Getaway Chalet at Hidden Valley Resort- a guest favorite! This 5 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom home sleeps 13. With an abundance of outdoor activities like golfing, skiing & snowboarding, swimming, hiking, and biking (just to name a few); plus festivals, state parks, sightseeing, spas, & restaurants and bars, there is entertainment for everyone in the Laurel Highlands. Note: AWD/4WD vehicles are suggested in the winter (gravel driveway is steep). Exterior security cameras in use.
Your Property
As you walk down the steps from the driveway and onto the front porch, you'll enter the house using the door on the right. This will lead you into the mudroom/laundry room. From here, guests can access the main level.
Just outside of the laundry room is the main entryway where guests can find the living area immediately to their left, the steps to go upstairs or downstairs, a half bathroom on their right, or a hallway that will lead to the master bedroom or the kitchen.
The living area is spacious and features comfortable leather furniture, a large Smart TV, and picture windows that overlook the outdoor deck. The living area is open to the dining area which offers a live edge log table that comfortably sleeps 6 people. Access to the outdoor deck is available in the dining area. The kitchen is also open to the dining area.
The kitchen is large and well stocked. Guests will have an easy time cooking up a meal for a crowd and the best part is. A variety of small kitchen appliances are available such as a crockpot, air fryer, toaster, coffee maker (Keurig), and more.
The huge primary bedroom is located on the main level of the house. It features a king size bed, its very own living area, curved Smart TV, tons of closet and dresser space, and a private ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower and jetted bath tub.
The second floor of the home has two bedrooms and one bathroom. Bedroom 2 features a queen size bed. Bedroom 3 offers a queen size bed and a smart TV. A full bathroom is shared between the two. The bathroom is equipped with a shower/tub combo, single bowl vanity, and toilet.
The lower level of the house is where all the fun happens! It features an arcade game, pool table, and smart TV that is set-up for gaming (PS5 and Nintendo are provided). The lower level of the house is home to bedrooms 4 and 5. Bedroom 4 has two sets of bunk beds (twin beds) and one single bed. Bedroom 5 has a queen size bed. There is a nearby full bathroom that offers a walk-in shower, single bowl vanity, and toilet.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire house.
The home is part of a Homeowner's Association (Hidden Valley Foundation). Guests have access to the HOA's outdoor swimming pool, playgrounds, sports courts, walking paths, outdoor fitness trail, and social and recreational events. The swimming pool is open seasonally from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. The pool hours are as follows (subject to change and weather dependent):
Monday-Thursday: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Friday-Saturday: 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM
Sunday & Holidays: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Guests will also have access to the shuttle bus that is provided by the HOA. The shuttle drives on a continuous route. Guests can be picked up at any of the bus stations.
Guests are permitted to fish in Lakes Helen and George. Swimming in the lakes are not permitted.
Guests can access the ski slopes from either side- Valley side or Summit side. Both sides are within walking distance. Please note: The Valley Side opens first during ski season and the Summit side opens as conditions allow.
We encourage guests to enjoy the outdoor fire pit. Guests can use any firewood that is left at the pit. However, firewood is not provided. Guests can purchase firewood at nearby vendors.
Guests are not permitted to use the hot tub.
Interaction with Guests:
Al Meucci Real Estate is on-call 24/7. In the event that a guest experiences maintenance problems during their stay, they can contact Michele or Maddie at anytime using the phone numbers provided at check-in.
This is not a pet friendly house.
Other Details to Note:
The charging station is for electric vehicles and has a Types 1 & 2 plugs.
Exterior security cameras are in use.
Per HOA Policy, neither RV's nor fireworks are permitted.
We strongly encourage guests to have all-wheel drive (AWD) or four-wheel drive (4WD) vehicles during the winter. The gravel driveway is steep.
