We’re Jamie and Cindy, proud owners and hosts of Finns Up and Bear’s Beachfront here on Carolina Beach. Hosting isn’t just about providing a place to stay - for us it’s about creating a coastal retreat where families, friends, and pups can make lasting memories.

Our journey as hosts started with a love for design and attention to detail. Every corner of our condos has been thoughtfully styled to bring in the calming tones and textures of the coast, while also offering the comforts of home. From porch swing daybeds to cozy fireplaces and carefully chosen linens, we’ve poured our hearts into making these spaces feel special.

We’re also dog parents to Finn and Bear, our two Goldendoodles, who inspired both the names of our properties and our focus on pet-friendly travel. We know how important it is to bring along the whole family, and that includes your four-legged ones.

When we’re not welcoming guests, you’ll often find us exploring the local restaurants, walking the beaches, or planning little touches to make our guests’ experiences even better. Whether it’s sharing our favorite coffee spot, recommending a day trip to Bald Head Island, or just making sure your stay is seamless, we love being part of your Carolina Beach story.

We’ve always loved the North End of Carolina Beach because it offers the best of both worlds. It’s peaceful and tucked away, giving you a true sense of escape, yet it’s still close enough to all the fun of downtown and the Boardwalk. The beaches here are wider, quieter, and more relaxed, making it easy to find your own spot in the sand.

One of our favorite things about the North End is the year-round dog-friendly beach. Watching families and pups enjoy the shoreline together feels like what beach life is all about. From our porch, we often see dolphins by the pier, and those little moments never get old.

This part of the island has its own charm -you can grab ice cream at the North End Pier, head north to Freeman Park for adventure, or simply enjoy the slower pace that makes the North End so special.

Our condo sits on the coveted North End of Carolina Beach, steps from the sand and right by the island’s only year-round dog-friendly beach. Guests love the front porch swing daybed overlooking the ocean - a spot where you can nap in the salty breeze, watch dolphins swim by the pier, or enjoy a quiet sunrise with your morning coffee.

We’ve poured care into every corner of the space, blending coastal chic décor with all the conveniences you’d want in a home away from home. From curated kitchenware and smart TVs in every room to plush linens and thoughtful touches for your pup, we’ve made sure you can simply arrive and relax.

And unlike many rentals, Finns Up offers two distinct beach experiences within steps of your door. Head north to Freeman Park for adventure - surfing, four-wheeling, fishing, and kitesurfing - or stay closer to the pier for some relaxing beach time.
