Fully outfitted kitchen with Subzero fridge, Kitchen Aid blender, Nespresso and everything needed for gourmet meals connected to Family Room and covered Lanai for outdoor eating/relaxing with Roku smart TV, hot tub, swing garden chair, ping-pong table and Kitchen Aid BBQ grill. Main Living Room with Large Smart TV opens to Outdoor Lanai overlooking ocean and mountains for outdoor dining and sitting. Ceiling fans in all bedrooms. Washer and dryer. High speed Wi-Fi.

Julie's home is beyond wonderful -- actually even better in person than the posting indicates (photos don't do it justice). The home itself is quite beautiful, with a highly picturesque setting that can be enjoyed from every room, and delightful architectural/design elements. Every piece of furniture is a work of art, and the colors are all coordinated. We spent more time just staying home enjoying the view and the ambience than most visitors to Hawaii. We had just our family of four but the home could easily serve 6-8 people, depending on sleeping arrangements. The separate apartment is, like the rest of the house, wonderful and we would often pop up to the outdoor patio, which is the highest point in the house, for a great view of the sunset. The location is perfect if you're looking for a middle point between the Windward Shore (Lanakai, Kailua, etc.) beaches and Honolulu/Waikiki. The local shopping area of Hawaii Kai is very nearby with easy access to Costco, Safeway, Walgreens, and a few shops, although high-end dining options there are limited to Roy's. Hawaii Kai also features every water sport you can imagine, although we ended up going to Waikiki for the sea turtle snorkeling cruise and surfing lessons. Hanauma Bay is a must-see as well, and so close that many in the neighborhood actually walk there. Be sure to look up how best to secure a reservation, though - they're all gone within 3 minutes of 7am, when you can reserve a time two days in advance. Julie and Tim were wonderful hosts. Their hospitality extended to even providing a Christmas tree and ornaments for us to decorate the tree -- amazing! And Julie provided a large list of activities for us to pursue. Overall, we're sad to be home but highly recommend a stay at this magical home.

Julie is an ideal host. Her home is glorious and she ensured that all of our needs were met from bathroom supplies to a functional grill. We all really enjoyed the boogie boards and ping pong table. The jacuzzi was a regular evening event for us as well. The location of her home allowed us to travel in any direction easily. Julie's home provides for a perfect vacation stay in Oahu!
