Fog Hill Cabin is a peaceful retreat set among the wooded landscape of the Beebe Hill State Forest. The main level features a beautifully appointed kitchen, a light filled dining room and a cozy living room. Directly off of the living room is the spectacular screened porch and the treehouse deck. The upper level features a private sky-lit bedroom with a Juliet balcony for a perfect escape in the woods. The lower bedroom suite offers a full bathroom, a kitchenette, living room and a private outdoor patio.

High-end Mountain Retreat

If you're looking to get away from the noise and bustle, but be close enough to some vibrant communities like Stockbridge and Lenox that have featured cultural offerings like music (Tanglewood) and theater (Shakespeare and Company), and spend your days in a modernized and pristine cabin with all the amenities, then this property is for you. Those were the features my wife and I were targeting. In addition, the owner was very responsive (a text away) when we had any questions. We recommend it highly.

Wonderful 3 night stay in this beautiful cabin with porches and a screen porch and every amenity. Close to hiking and poking around the little Berkshire towns and only 12 minutes to Tanglewood! Host was very responsive to a few questions. Can't wait to return!

Finest cabin living

Is this a cabin or the Ritz? My host thought of every detail to make this inviting cabin the ultimate in glamping. Screened porch, wrap around porch, fire pit in the huge backyard, fully loaded kitchen with high end kitchenware. The main bedroom was large with its own balcony overlooking the forest and the bed had a memory foam mattress with lovely cotton sheets. The cabin was spotless. (The only thing missing was a washer and dryer.) I booked this for its location near Tanglewood and concerts I was attending.( 20 minutes away. ) I will be rebooking next year.

Beautiful and Peaceful

The cabin was beautiful, well maintained and nicely decorated. We had 2 couples so the setup was perfect. The downstairs studio had everything needed which included a small kitchen and sitting area which was very comfortable. The upstairs bedroom was spacious and included 2 ceiling fans which made it very nice sleeping temperature and without needing to use the AC. The screened in porch and deck overlooking the woods was a great private place to hang out and play cards and listen to the wildlife. The location was perfect and not far from Great Barrington, Chatham and Tanglewood. The house was fully equipped. The host was very responsive and answered any questions we had. We would definitely look to stay here again.

Perfect cabin in the woods

Cabin had everything you need! Beautiful outdoor spaces, wild raspberries growing in the yard, and stars. It was a great location to check out many local towns and hikes. It was truly a perfect weekend get away.

Berkshires getaway

We had a fabulous stay at the cabin for a long holiday weekend. The cabin was clean, warm, comfortable and had everything we needed. The holiday decor was so pretty especially driving back to the cabin at night and seeing it lit up with greens and white holiday lights. The coffee bar was an added bonus to wake up to. Billy responded quickly to my texts at check-in and check-out. There is much to do in this beautiful area and the cabin was centrally located for the places we wanted to visit including Stockbridge and Lenox, Mass and Hudson New York. The suite on the lower floor was perfect for our teenage daughter and her friend to hang out while we relaxed upstairs. I would definitely recommend this beautiful cabin for a Berkshires getaway and hope to return with my family again in the future.

Beautiful, peaceful, and wonderful to stargaze!

Beautiful property, wonderful experience! Went for my mom's 60th and she couldn't have been happier! So calm and quiet, and the stars at night are just breathtaking. Also couldn't beat the proximity to the Berkshires, 15 minutes and you're there! The only thing that was a bit clunky was that there wasn't any closet space actually in the upstairs or downstairs rooms, only on the entry floor where the rooms are not. Super minor, since we just used the drawers instead! The screened in porch space was particularly amazing, we spent a lot of time just sitting out there relaxing, very comfortable! Overall, a wonderful cabin, can't beat the view of nature or the view of the stars at night, perfectly clean, perfectly peaceful, perfect trip!

A perfect woodsy retreat

Everything about this adorable cabin has been carefully curated to achieve a rustic-yet-modern, cozy getaway in the Berkshires. We loved the privacy and the ambiance of the cabin, and yet we were only 12 miles or so from everything we planned to to in the Lenox-Pittsfield-W Stockbridge area. One thing to be aware of is that your GPS may not always work in this rural area so a map would have been a good thing to bring along. Inside the cabin, internet and TV are good. We would highly recommend this VRBO as a great place to stay if you want to be out of the busy Lenox/Stockbridge area, yet close enough to get to all your desired activities.

Wonderful

We spent 9 fabulous days at the Fog Hill Cabin. Everything is exactly as listed and even more. Even with a couple of bad weather days we were able to enjoy the screened in porch and the fire pit. The cabin has everything you need for a long weekend or extended stay. We will definitely be back.

Perfect Getaway Location

This was a perfect spot, a get away in the woods and an easy drive to Tanglewood and other hang-out sites in the Berkshires. The cabin is beautifully decorated and maintained, it's super clean, and the outdoor wrap around deck is wonderful, especially the screened in porch. We are already planning a return trip.

Lovely Fog HIll Cabin

The VBRO photos of the Fog Hill Cabin made it look so wonderful, and it turned out to be even more so! We enjoyed the cabin so much, and can't think of suggestions for improvement. It was simply lovely, comfortable, relaxing and quiet. We enjoyed the location and all the surounding woods and birds! Thanks so much, Billy!

Great besides for preparedness for weather

We had a great time. Loved the kitchen and propane heater. Bed was comfortable. Only issue was that the driveway was not plowed and the stairs to get in were not shoveled and were covered in ice when we arrived. The host did communicate with us through this and was helpful.
