This house sits on 14 acres of large oak trees, sandstone rock and lots of wildlife. Close your eyes and just imagine the sun is rising, the birds are singing, turkey gobbling, the deer are playing as you slowly open your eyes to a spectacular breathtaking view. Gorgeous view but a house that needs a lot of work
We came into town to float the Brazos for my birthday so super casual time and expectations. Driving to the property we were apprehensive on what to expect but pulled up to a house that has an amazing view. Could sit out all day and look over the valley and trees. Which brings me to the biggest point - why no patio furniture?! None whatsoever. Disappointing for a huge patio and absolutely gorgeous view. We were there for multiple meals and disappointed to find very minimal kitchenware. They did have silverware, plates and bowels for 8 but only gave 2 dishwashing pods and nothing to clean the dishes outside of that. Beds were comfy, modest rooms and bathrooms. A property that has a bunch of promise and needs a ton of love to get there.
We were a group of 7 so the 4 bedrooms were perfect. The view from the hilltop was perfect and there was almost no road noise!Someone else commented that there was no patio furniture so we took our own chairs which was easy since we live so close. We would definitley stay here again.
