Spend the day fishing, sightseeing or just relaxing on the screen porch looking at the water and then go to sleep with the soft sound of waves lapping the shore. Fall is Beautiful here on the lake. We have plenty of parking for your boat/trailer. Three boat launches nearby. Our little slice of Heaven is private and quiet. Steps from the water. We are confident you will love your stay with us.

Incredible property

This is the best vacation rental I have ever stayed in. The view was incredible and the host treated us like family. Everything was clean and comfortable and the linens were great. I could not have been happier and we were very lucky to find this place. I would absolutely recommend!

This was the most beautiful place I have ever been! The bay view was spectacular with beautiful moon reflections on the water at night. The inside was very clean with everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Julie is a great hostess!

Lake Getaway

The view is beautiful! This location can be as relaxing or as action packed as you'd like. Kids enjoyed diving and swimming in the lake. Great place to fish. The host for the property is incredibly thoughtful and went out of her way to make sure our stay was comfortable and fun. Highly recommend.

Perfect first trip!

This was my wife’s first trip to the 1000 Island area and this property was perfect. We were a short drive (20 - 40 minutes) away from the “hot spots” but, provided a super peaceful and relaxing sanctuary right on the water with great views. This property was great and you can tell how much labor of love the owners put into making it special! Thanks Julie for being a great host!

Lovely home!

The home has everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed our morning coffees & evenings on the screened in porch. The kayaks & paddle boat were tons of fun. The large yard gave us room to play. The views are beautiful! There is lots of seating inside & out. We had a wonderful time! Thank you!

Beautiful Location

Beautiful Location and great hosts. Nice quiet and relaxing weekend on Lake Ontario. The property is very well taken care of and the hosts were responsive. The screened in porch created and enjoyable evening to sit and watch the sunsets without being attacked by mosquitoes. Beautiful views, clear water, and even some kayaks and paddle boats to enjoy while visiting. They even have toddler size life jackets! Will definitely visit again!

Peaceful Vacation

Our vacation was perfect! Starting with this home we rented. Most days we stayed on site, playing in the water, fishing and watching the calmness of Lake Ontario. There is plenty to keep all ages busy, never having to leave the cottage. The home was spotlessly clean. Beds are comfortable. The home owner is top-notch. This is the place the stay in up-state New York!

Resting on the Bay

We enjoyed our stay at Three Mile Bay. The location was peaceful and quiet. The cottage was super clean and the front room lovely. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch with a wonderful view of the water. The owners live right on the property, so were easy to contact with issues from a storm - but this also provided little privacy as the screened in porch faces their home. The gazebo as pictured is shared with the home owner too.

Perfect vacation in a beautiful location!

If you are looking to escape the heat of the south and enjoy an incredibly beautiful location offered by welcoming hosts, this is the spot for you! My wife and I spent 5 days here and wished it was more like 5 months. The cool breeze coming through the windows off the lake and the wide variety of birds singing were very pleasant. The cottage has all the amenities you need to have a great stay. Julie and Greg are great folks who are very responsive to any requests you have. While we did not get out on the like in one of the kayaks, paddle boats or canoes they have, the opportunity is there! I highly recommend this location and these two incredible hosts.

Wonderful Retreat

We had a wonderful getaway. Typically we stay at one of the Finger Lakes each year for a summer vacation but this year decided to look north into the 1000 Islands Region. This was the best of both worlds. You have the lake setting but there was so much more land, room, space that you don't find in the Finger Lakes where each property is on top of each other. You are only a short drive to the great towns that make up the 1000 Islands Region like Clayton, Alex Bay. The house was very comfortable with all ammenities needed. The screened in porch is a great feature. The swimming platform, canoe, kayaks, paddle boat were added bonuses for the kids. It is rocky bottom so water shoes are beneficial. They had plenty of firewood for campfires and smores. Overall a great expereince and I would recommend to others.

Exceptional property

Julie has an exceptional beach house/cottage on a stunning piece of property right on the water. Every detail of the property description is accurate but do not do it justice once you have seen it in person. I have had a wide range of experiences with online rentals and this property greatly exceeded all of our expectations. Julie answered any questions online immediately or in person if we happened to see her while spending time outside (she lives in a home at the other side of the property). Previous reviews can give you a sense of the beautiful views and overall property. After doing multiple rentals here are the items I consider important to know: Very large, screened in front porch with a dining set and 4 chairs, love seat glider and a kids picnic table (additional lawn chairs are available outside to use also). Porch overlooks the bay with a sliding glass doors to the living room area. 1 person kayak, 2 person paddle boat, and 2 person canoe available for use (all in good condition). Swim platform within easy distance of shore for even smaller children/average swimmers. Water gets deep at a perfect pitch for adults and all but very small children. Weeds in the water are minimal in and around the waterfront and swim platform (this is definitely a plus and something that can be hard to find anywhere in the area). House has AC, full size refrigerator, kitchen table with 6 chairs, recliner sofa, recliner chairs, smart TV (good wifi throughout the house), Blue ray/DVD player. Galley style kitchen with an apartment size gas stove, toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker, 2 slice toaster, a dishwasher (another big plus you don't find in many area rentals) and all the kitchen essentials you would likely need. Gas grill also available outside. TONS of outdoor space for lounging, yard games, kite flying or just room for kids to run around. House is set very far off the road so no worries about traffic. Fire pit is on the backside of the house and plenty of wood was provided to use it. All bath and beach towels were provided.
