We loved our stay here. Having the dock for the boat, and having an easy boat launch within walking distance was wonderful (put 5 in a box for the fire dept). Plus, being in a protected cove on windy days meant the boat was fine.The house is a great old gem⊠old wood floors and doors, etc. (We love that kind of thing⊠may not be your style). There is a strong sulfur smell to the waterâŠin addition to not drinking it, I decided to not wash my clothes as well for fear theyâd pick up the smell. The wrap around porch makes the house⊠I sat out looking at the lake every morning with my coffee and Bible. View is beautiful. Sitting in an Adirondack chair on the huge lawn under a spectacular willow tree⊠also wonderful. One more bonus⊠beds and chairs (2 recliner sofas) were all comfy. Sometimes weâve rented and the furniture is more for the photos than for humans.Kitchen had what we needed (and we cooked most meals). Traditional coffee pot, if youâre planning ahead for that first morning on the porch. We plan on returning.
