Start your morning with a cup of coffee while enjoying the lush greenery and tranquil scenery from the comfort of the front porch on the Adirondack rockers. Next, spend the afternoon in the great outdoors tubing, fishing, hiking, mountain biking or boating in the nearby lakes. Unwind the day at the shops and restaurants in downtown Ellijay, just 7 miles away or perhaps enjoy a glass of wine and take a winery tour at the numerous vineyards just a few short miles away. The host was very welcoming and the house was amazing! We absolutely loved our weekend here and are already looking forward to visiting here again! Perfect place to stay

We had the best stay at Ivy's Woodland Cove... Home is absolutely beautiful, everything you need for a perfect stay. Game room and hot tub were a huge plus. Location was just right for touring the local town. If your looking for a great get away, Ivy's Woodland Cove is your place.

Fantastic place to stay!

The house was perfectly decorated, super clean, and very comfortable to stay in. We were surrounded by a gorgeous view of trees, with food and grocery stores in close driving distance. The kitchen has a decent supply of cooking items and the bathrooms were stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner, etc. We were charmed from the moment we walked in the door and will definitely come back again. Thank you for being great hosts!

Bachelorette party

We stayed for a bachlorette party for my daughter and could not have found a better place to stay! It has everything you need to stay in and cook or close enough to all the restaurants if you want to go out. The pictures are exactly what you find when you walk in the door. Perfect, quiet and can’t wait to stay again! And to top it off Jenny was so nice checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed.

Fall Rejuvenation

Perfect house to relax and enjoy the fall Foliage. Quiet neighborhood close enough to town yet secluded in the woods. Outdoor fire pit and hot tub is a nice addition for relaxing after a long hike. Jenn and Justin were super hosts and made the entire process enjoyable. So relaxed and missing the views already!!

Peaceful and relaxing

Ivy’s Woodland Retreat was beautiful, comfortable and enjoyable. The beds were comfortable and the space was fresh and charming. The 3 bedrooms were perfect for our family of four to spread out and have room for alone time. Jenny and Justin made sure that everything went well from booking to check out. We loved the hot tub and fire pit as well as air hockey. The area has so many fun things from outdoor adventures to shopping. We would love to return to this retreat during apple picking season. Thanks you for a great long weekend getaway!

Perfect place to spend a weekend

We had the best girls’ weekend at this beautiful home which sits at the top of a hill in Ellijay. It is so beautifully furnished. It was sparkling clean with every convenience that you could hope for. I always look for touches of quality and this place was filled with them. Great bedding, towels, dishes and glassware. It was a perfect weekend. It snowed the morning after we arrived but the driveway was clear and with the garage our car was not packed with snow. It was so comfortable that we ate many of our meals and sat in front of a fire, watching the huge tv. Unfortunately, we didn’t make it to the hot tub. We kept wishing for another day to do all the things we wanted. The master suite is beautiful, but the other two bedrooms were equally as charming. An incredible laundry room was there with a big built in folding table. We kept wondering if we had started the dishwasher because it was so quiet. This is the place you want to go for a great vacation!

A beautiful home and a great location. It was quiet and secluded and peaceful. One of the nice bonuses was the availability of a full-size garage to park in out of the rain. Even got to see a few deer prancing around the property.

East Ellijay private home

We had an excellent stay! The home was lovely, well maintained, and clean. Very private area. Area roads are narrow, winding, dark, and filled with deer. We did not use hot tub, but did enjoy fire pit and porch seating. Highly recommend

Beautiful Home/Fantastic Location

Property was beautiful and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay! Bed was extremely pleasant, house was in a fantastic location in between downtown and the wineries, host gave us great recommendations on places to go/things to do. Awesome house

We were there for a wedding so we were not at the house much- but we did cook breakfast and it had everything we needed and more!! So nice inside looked brand new!! Great communication! We will be back for relaxation!

Thanksgiving in Ellijay

Our stay was so wonderful! We had Thanksgiving in the Woodsy Retreat and the kitchen had almost everything we needed to pull it off. The house is so cozy and our family did not have one complaint. Would definitely stay again!

Hello! We are Justin and Jenny Franchi of Indian Land, SC! We are thrilled to be able to share with you our beautiful new home in Ellijay, GA that we called Ivy's Woodland Retreat. We are confident you will fall in love with this gorgeous, peaceful and centrally located home minutes from downtown Ellijay!

Just a little bit about us... we've been happily for almost 6 years. Justin is a pilot and Jenny is a Senior Marketing Account Manager at a financial services firm. Together, we have 2 boys and 2 girls and a sweet Bernedoodle, named Bernie. We love to travel and love the mountains!
