Great house, perfect for us while we were in town visiting ETSU with our daughter. Loved the decor and the antique touches. Super close to campus and everything else.
The property was 5/5 stars. The home was very clean and the kitchen/bathroom/ bedrooms were well stocked with everything my family needed. The only complaint making my overall review 4/5 was about the property itself and the communication: the front stairs and walkway being super slippery in the rain. Communication was difficult in that the owner either didnt respond or waited a good 24 hours to respond. Also, I feel like borderline harassing me for a review was in poor taste. I got bombarded with 'leave a review!' Etc throughout the entire stay. If you want your guests to leave a review, once, maybe twice sending out a reminder is more than adequate. I did have a couple questions during the stay and they were mostly ignored instead being sent a standard 'leave a review' message. My family and I really enjoyed this home and the location was great, but the details like payment (I paid in full prior to the stay and it didn't actually go through until a couple weeks after my stay. Not my fault or my bank, this was purely on the end of this property management.) and asking a couple simple questions during the stay and then not only being ignored and then asked 'to leave a review!' was tacky to say the least. Like I said, I really enjoyed the home and the location was great, but I really didn't appreciate in insincerity of the 'leave a review' messages.with the owner whcommunic there
Overall nice little/Cozy cottage. Great location!! Very relaxing place to stay. Visiting our daughter who is attending Milligan University. Would recommend this place for sure. Will be booking again for future visits.
This property was in the most perfect location for us and had everything we needed. It was very cozy inside and the updates were done SO nicely. Comfortable beds, and nice towels and linens really made our stay luxurious.I love a TV in the bedroom and really appreciated that little extra!
This property was very cute. Convient to downtown, ETSU,Kroger, and plenty of deliciius food options. We have been coming to.JC to visit my daughter for the last 5 1/2 years and were completely satisfied. My husband and i were already planning another stay before we left.
Thank you.
The house was cute, inside and out. It was clean and they used nice sheets and towels. It was well-appointed, and the couch and beds were very comfortable. We cooked a meal in the kitchen, and found everything available we needed. The central air was great. The appliances are all new, and the bathroom is small but adequate and has a rain shower head as well as a handheld shower. The bedrooms and living area have drapes, the bedrooms had little fans pointed toward the beds that kept everything cool while adding some white noise. There were three fire tv's in the house and you could log into your own streaming services. It is near anything you need to get to, we were visiting our granddaughter from ETSU and it was very close. Also, to restaurants and grocery stores. My husband and I are older so our only issue was the stairs for both entrances were a bit steep for us, but it clearly shows them in the pictures of the house so that wasn't a hidden fact at all on the homeowner's side. I think if you have no mobility issues it would be a breeze. We communicated with the owner on one issue and found him to be quick in his response. Overall, we were comfortable in this cute cottage and thought being in a home that was 100 years old was delightful. There is a train that runs nearby a few times a day or night but it wasn't a disturbance and you can hear some noise from the nearby main street, neither should be a dealbreaker for staying there. We had a nice stay.
We stayed at this property so we could attend a funeral. It was a quiet and private location, easy to get to all the places we needed to go during our stay. I would stay at this house again. Clean, quiet, and comfy.
The properties on the street look a little run down but it was fine for us. We felt safe and comfortable. The indoor decor was very cute. I agree with others that you can smell that pets have stayed there, but itâs to be expected in an animal-friendly home. The beds were comfortable and the shower was great. I like that the house was nestled between downtown Johnson City and Jonesborough, making it close to everywhere we went!
It was the perfect spot for my friend and I's NASCAR weekend getaway. About 20 miles from the track and 2 miles to downtown Jackson City where we found amazing places to eat and hang out. Such a great quiet neighborhood. We definitely enjoyed ourselves.
The house was updated adorably. It was clean but because it is pet friendly (the reason we chose it) it kind of smelled like dog. I think it was the area rugs because the other surfaces were hard and wouldnât hold smell. It looks like the neighborhood is going through a transition where houses are being remodeled. The neighborhood was quiet. It had everything we needed.
Great place in a quiet neighborhood. Inside was updated yet had rustic charm. We were there for the weekend to attend an event at ETSU where our son has been admitted. It was perfect for us, our son and pup. Itâs a nice walk to the campus. Itâs a very short drive to LOTS of restaurants and shopping close by. Host was easy to contact and very helpful.
The house was perfect for what we needed. It was in a quiet neighborhood. Very close to downtown, plenty of restaurants and grocery stores. We loved the fire place and the rocking chairs on the porch. Just a very cozy and relaxing place to be. Would definitely stay again!
Stayed there for the weekend with my husband, dog and two adult children. We were visiting our daughter who goes to grad school in Johnson City. The location was perfect. The home is so cozy. The coffee bar was awesome. Will definitely stay there again.
I came in town to deal with some business. I was pleasantly surprised with the location. The house was been remodeled but they kept so many touches to the original which was awesome. The front porch sunrise was my all time favorite in the rockers. Will stay agin next time I am in the area.
The house was representative of the pictures. It was clean. Newly remodeled. The beds were very comfortable as was the furniture. With 4 adults, the TVs in the bedrooms were an added bonus. The property owner was very responsive.
