Our beach is as good as it gets: flat and perfect for walking, 1 km long bound with majestic cliffs at both ends, over 150 mts. wide on low tide, clear sand, gentle rolling surf, and legendary Pacific sunsets. Perfect combination of beach and nature, with large beautiful trees giving the sensation of being in a forest and occasionally hosting troops of howler monkeys, and magpies eating out of your hand to greet you in the morning. On most days you will have this amazing slice of heaven almost all to yourself. Unbeatable for solitude, rest, and relaxation.
If you are into nature, visit La Flor Wildlife Reserve, 5 minutes away, one of the few turtle sanctuaries on the Pacific of the Americas where, if you're lucky in season, you can watch more than 5 thousand sea turtles at a time laying their eggs, and get right up close to them (watch video). At least a few turtles arrive to nest on most nights, so you are quite likely to spot one. La Flor is nature at its finest and a fantastic beach in its own right.

The restaurants, bars, and shopping of San Juan del Sur are just a 25 minute drive down the road. Groceries are also available at the small shop right across the road or at the mini-super at the opposite end of the beach, close to the Austrian-owned bistro that puts out the country's meanest wienersnitzel. For another tasty treat take a short drive down to the village of Ostional to visit the local fishermen to score some scrumptious freshly caught fish, lobster, and octopus. Uncork some chardonnay and barbecue your catch on our roomy grill. Bon apetit!
