Beautiful beachfront condo, great views of the bay, close to restaurants & nightlife. The area was featured on the cover of Lonely Planet Nicaragua. If you like the nightlife, this condo is perfect, next to a popular night spot so it can get noisy at nights. Great amenities: fully equipped kitchen, wireless internet, two balconies facing the ocean, etc. There will be additional fees for excessive electricity use. Due to VRBO only allowing a flat fee for electricity use, we are unable to charge upfront for electricity usage as we only want to charge for excessive usage, if applicable. Please review house rules before booking.
The 2 bdrm 2 full bath with pool condo was amazing. Lots of space. Great balconies to people watch. Restaurants, groceries everything was within walking distance. We would stay here again!
We had an amazing adventures while staying in San Juan del Sur. Our host was easy to communicate with and the condo was precisely as describe.
The condo was the perfect home base. Definitely a home away from home.
Because of this wonderful experience, we would love to return some day!
This beachfront property was amazing! Two balconies with fans provided a great relaxing spot to watch the sunset and the world below. We had great communication with the owner. He went above and beyond on providing information. Will definitely reserve this place again when in town.
Great location as looks right onto the beach. Spectacular sunsets. An older building with stairs as elevator not operational. It was comfortable to stay in.
My friend and I stayed for the month of November in Torreon. The condo was spacious and it was well equipped with towels and kitchen utensils. Yes it is noisy especially on Thursday nights but the location is perfect. Right across from the beach with many restaurants and shops nearby for supplies.
Armando was wonderful and was always available for our questions. Denis the night maintenance man is a gem he was so helpful. Thank you we had a great stay!
I was born and raised in San Francisco, CA but both my parents were from Nicaragua. I lived a few years in Managua between the ages of 2-5 years of age but had no memory of living there. Initially, I had no desire to return to Nicaragua and get to know the birthplace of my parents, mainly because of the earthquake and subsequent civil wars, etc. As I became a parent of two, my wife convinced me it would be great for our children to learn of their heritage. At this moment in time, the country had stabilized and I was hearing positive new from family members who had visited recently. I decided it was time and we headed to Nicaragua for the first time. I did not have any set expectations. Even my mother warned me that I wouldn't like it in Nicaragua and that it is not like the states, lots of poverty, etc. Well, I fell in love with Nicaragua almost immediately. Especially with Granada and San Juan del Sur, so much so that four years later we purchased a condo in San Juan del Sur and now we regularly make the annual trek to Nicaragua. The condo is in a great location minus the noise from the night club. Maybe one day I will buy them out and demolish what's there and build more condos, who knows. Regardless, it's a great spot. Unfortunately or maybe fortunately, all the walls were white and the condo did not have much character. Over the years, I have painted the walls and added nice touches throughout the condo. I do my own remodeling so I end up doing something to the place every year I am there. I cannot stress the natural beauty that you will discover in Nicaragua. Yes, it has its problems but still, the people are super friendly and happy go lucky.
Condo has tile throughout and is well decorated with local Nicaraguan art and pottery. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with a jacuzzi type tub. The unit has a safe where you can lock your valuables as well as a keyed closet one can use to lock larger items. There is 24 hour security as well as a back generator in case the power goes out which does happen in Nicaragua.
There is a laundry closet as well. Maid service upon request during your stay for an additional fee. Please note that the condo is located in a very popular area on the beach front and there is a night club next door so if you are looking for a peaceful, tranquil escape, our place is probably not your best option. While it can get noisy, especially in the guest bedroom, the noise level has decreased significantly as of recently due to COVID19 resulting in fewer tourists. We do supply ear plugs though just in case. Besides the noise at night during the weekends, it's a fantastic condo right on the beach and we do our best to make the place feel like a home. Please contact me first if you have any questions.
The building is one of the few on the beachfront road with the bedrooms in the rear of the condo to help minimize the noise from the street. Being located on the beachfront means you will enjoy incredible sunsets and the location is great as there are restaurants and night spots within steps of the building.
