House was perfect to host our 2 families, the home was beautifully decorated and plenty of room to be had by all. Close to the water and lovely walk down to the shore. Highly recommend this home if looking for comfortable stay, with awesome front porch to have coffee in the morning.
Stayed here for my son's wedding with family and friends. Everything was wonderful. Beds we're very comfortable, pillows were amazing. The kitchen was great for cooking and lots of great common spaces for gathering
Incredibly impressed with our stay! House is well-furnished, and is stocked with everything you could need for a stay with a larger group, including ample bedrooms, bathrooms, linens, towels, utensils, cups, etc. The house is exactly as it appears on the listing, and is even more impressive in person. Itâs so refreshing to find a property where many spaces can accommodate 12 people comfortably, and given the rain during our stay, was great to have a house with plenty to occupy ourselves inside. Had the weather been nicer, the proximity to the beach and provided beach passes are a generous perk. Should we be planning another stay to the area, or need to recommend a place to others for adult groups, would 100% suggest this property!
Everything was amazing! The house, the owners and time with friends. The house was wonderfully appointed, the beds were comfortable and the water was in sight from the front porch. Would DEFINITELY stay here again!
The host was incredibly kind and accommodating. We particularly enjoyed the beach pass, as we drove ~3 min to the beautiful water in the morning. The amenities were absolutely gorgeous and beyond functional. Plenty of bathrooms, showers, sinks, sitting areas, etc. for our party. We had a wonderful stay!
We enjoyed our stay at this large and lovely home. The backyard was perfect for our kids' soccer and whiffle ball games. We all enjoyed time on the wide front porch. You can see the ocean from several of the rooms too. The neighborhood was quiet, and Ocean Park Beach was a quick drive away.
If itâs possible, the property is even more beautiful in person. Our family loved staying here. Awesome location, gorgeous home. Thank you for welcoming us at your beautiful property!
Home was beautiful, everything you would need for a great getaway. Went with my college roommate, spouses and our adult children. Plenty of room for everyone. Beds really comfortable, large kitchen table to gather and play games and bonus pool table.
Wow! This house is beautiful and is perfect for all ages. So much space indoors and out to enjoy! AnnGina and Juan were so responsive to our needs. Weâll equipped kitchen. We all enjoyed our stay!
We had a fabulous time and the house was perfect! We were three families and our parents traveling together. Lots of room to spread out, we had a rainy weekend and with so many of us in the house we were still able to relax!
This beautiful, well-appointed house turned out to be the perfect venue for hosting our family to celebrate mom's life. The weather was rainy all weekend so we couldn't enjoy the proximity to the Thames and Long Island Sound, but indoors was warm and cozy for catching up with family and friends. AnnGina graciously allowed us early check-in, which facilitated our attendance at the burial ceremony. All around 5-star stay.
We are a client services team for a major corporation. There are 13 of us and we pick a new location in the NE each year to relax and have fun for a few days. Mystic was wonderful great shops and restaurants. The house was just what we needed. Enough room and privacy when needed. It is decorated beautifully was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The hosts were most accommodating and pleasant to deal with. We would definitely come back!
The house was absolutely perfect for our family reunion. The pictures donât even begin to describe how well decorated and spacious the home is. Thereâs plenty of common areas to relax and the Kitchen/dinning room was perfect. The neighborhood for walking is great and very close to the water. The host was very accommodating and the process worked like clockwork. If you travel to this area I highly recommend renting this house. We will be looking for excuses to come back.
We were three families of 4, looking for a beautiful house big enough for all of us. We found this amazing house! It was just like advertised, and so comfortable. Great bedrooms, nice kitchen and large dining room table. And so beautiful! Free access to a nice beach. And the owners were available for any questions/issues. We had a wonderful time! Merci!
Our multi-generational family had plenty of room and plenty to do in this New London home. My sister and brothers, children and grandchildren were all happy with the layout. Having rooms that could comfortably fit young children with their parents was a nice bonus.
The outside area is also very nice. The front porch was a favorite! We met a couple friendly neighbors, one of whom, told us about the fascinating history the house and those in the area.
Hostess answered all messages quickly. She helpful and informative.
We spent our days exploring the area. Loved Harkness Memorial Park. It was beautifulâŠand had nice fishing, according to my brothers. The Recovery Room Italian restaurant was a favorite food pick.
The only drawback for us was the 9pm curfew - We would have enjoyed a fire in the beautiful firepit area.
Really great house. Its a very old house (maybe a boarding house from the 19th century?) but its meticulously updated. Be prepared for the idiosyncrasies of an old house - low ceiling on 3rd floor, bedroom floor levels are different than hallway floor level, water takes a minute to get hot. I live in an 1890 house so I'm used to these sorts of things. The porch is really excellent. We had 10 people in this house and we had room to spare. We usually stay in a country house near nothing but we all agreed staying in a neighborhood in New London was great. The parking passes to beach were a definite plus.
When my husband and I stumbled upon this1876 victorian jewel we were smitten by it's beauty and poise. Nested on the --- of New London it offers the enchantment of New England's romance with the sea and their Shore summer culture. After two years of a meticulous renovation we are in love with the results and ready to share our holiday home with our guests. The house offers a great flow with well proportioned spaces ideal for spending special gatherings with your family and friends. The open concept kitchen and dining room with it's stone fire place is my favorite place. cozy enough to cook and share yet with apt space for a formal sit down dinner. Our multi-generation family sleeps comfortably with extra space for cousins and even our kid's friends. We have equipped the kitchen with all that is needed to prepare your thanksgiving meal. The spacious foyer with multiple sitting options has become our Christmas tree and Santa's post. The family living room with its fireplace and large screen TV makes movie night special. The second floor features two en-suite master bedrooms plus 3 more bedrooms with a 3rd bathroom. The 3rd level features 2 bedrooms with a fourth bath and game room.
