Adorable Cottage on the Canal with Boat Lift

Renovated this year, you’ll enjoy this 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. There is an open living room with a smart TV & views of the canal. The well- stocked kitchen & large dining table allow for family dinners with ease. The huge canal front covered porch is the perfect place to unwind on our rocking chairs.
Inside you`ll find a King bedroom with 3 piece bath, a queen room & a bunk room that sleeps 4. Boat lift is accessible with the rental, but use at own risk & additional liability contracts apply.

Canal Cottage on Causeway is a wonderful waterfront home with boat lift right on the canal allowing for easy access to all the waters of the bogue sound and beyond. Just bring your boat or rent one locally and let the fun begin....Enjoy all that the island has to offer with close proximity to restaurants, shopping and the beach. Many of these places are in walking distance. This is a deep-water canal and can accommodate somewhat larger boats even at low tide. Morehead City waterfront, Beaufort Inlet and Newport River are just a five minute boat ride or a short drive away!!

House is well situated to access waterway and beach. Neighborhood is very quiet this time of year. We brought the boat and fished every day and had a very relaxing time.

the house was in spotless condtion, the dock in the canal was perfect for boating, and the hose supplied all that was needed to make it a. perfect stay. Plus, the gift basket was an unexpected pleasure including the sangria which we all enjoyed.thank you for making this a perfect family reunion.

The beds, the amenities, and the communication were awesome. The tv had the option for shows to watch, the bedrooms were perfect for my children and the porch was perfect. Excellent location and the neighborhood was very safe.

Guys fishing trip

A few of us stayed here for a fishing trip. The house was clean, had the essentials in the kitchen and overall delivered on expectation. The dock in the back was great, we were able to tie up my skiff overnight on the floating dock and throw for some mullet when hanging out. I would book again, great central location for a trip!

We had an excellent stay. Owner is very friendly and responsive. This is was a great weekend stay for our family. House is in a great location to the beach and shops and in a quiet location. Would recommend to anyone. Look forward to next time!

Perfect location and home

This was the perfect place for our vacation. The house was fully stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms. The house was VERY clean, neat and organized! We loved having the boat lift right at the house to keep our boat there. Communication was amazing with quick responses! We will be booking again to come back to stay!

Towels were “awesome”, too step of stairs needs to be repaired, only two partial rolls of toilet paper were found. Small stuff. We thoroughly enjoyed the house, accommodated 7 of us, easy access for boat (didn’t use the lift), easy to find. Would recommend with no hesitation.

Absolutely perfect!!

This was our second time staying here and will certainly not be our last! The house is super clean and very well stocked. The location is perfect for fishing. Communication before and during the trip can not be beat. They are always so helpful and accomindating. I cannot recommend this place enoungh!!

A review like this is very damaging and indicative of a terrible experience. Did something happen we were not made aware of ? You don't actually say anything was wrong but this review says otherwise. Great Location

We had a good overall experience at the property. The communication with the landlord was good. The location was great at Atlantic Beach close to everything. The neighborhood was good. The only issue we had was with the dock which had decking boards that were in disrepair and rotting a couple of places you could see through to the water. We could not let the kids go on the dock do too the condition of the dock. Overall it was a good experience

Thank you for taking the time to bring this issue to us during your stay. We did have someone out immediately to repair the boards, but determined that it would be best to replace the dock. As a result, the dock is now brand new with a new lift. I apologize that you had to deal with any issues but thank you for making us aware so we could correct it quickly for future guests. Hopefully we will have the chance to host you again!

We went to Morehead city for the seafood festival and to celebrate my birthday and our son’s birthday as well we had a great time. One of the best parts of the stay there was no TV nor alarm clock in the bedroom. We had no locked plans. The best plan is no plan

My family stayed at this property. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The property was spacious, neat, and clean. The property is within one mile of the beach, has a boat dock (great for fishing (we caught a couple)). The restaurants near by were excellent as well.
