Spent a great week with friends fishing and hanging out. House had lots of room and a great outdoor space. Easy parking for the boat. Enjoyed some great meals and music at The Big Deck and Steamers.
Just over 10 minutes from the center of cedar key, The Charter House was a great fit for our stargazing fishing family spring break. Aaron was highly responsive and accommodating. Great time. Would love to return.
This property was so adorable, comfortable and quite large. The location is outside of main cedar key but absolutely perfect being by the convenience store since we had to gas up twice. It had a huge screened in area below the home which would be perfect for summer time. 10/10 rating. Definitely will be staying here again when we come back.
Very clean, well stocked and new furnishings! Perfect for our large family!
My family came to town for a funeral and despite the circumstances, we had a wonderful stay. Aarron had everything we needed! Would definitely stay again!
While we weren't overwhelmed with its convenience to "Cedar Key" attractions, this would be a good place for groups or large families to visit. It is 5+/- miles from downtown Cedar Key but has plenty of room for those who can climb stairs. Six of us arrived as couples in separate cars and took turns driving the group into more interesting areas. The property would have been nice to hang out in if we'd wanted to entertain ourselves. My elderly father was not willing to try the stairs when he visited. A large screened-in area under the house provided a good place to entertain guests.
I would recommend it as a fishing/boating headquarters, as there was plenty of room to park a boat (or boats) and trailer(s).
We had a great time during our stay here! It was clean, spacious and had everything we needed! It was very close to 2 markets, just a short drive to Cedar Key and very close to our familyâs property that we were here to visit. We loved the screen room downstairs, access to streaming on tv, as it was rainy one day. We had plenty of room for our family. Next time we may even let our kids each bring a friend! The manager, Aaron, was extremely friendly, informative and responsive. We had a few random questions the week before our arrival and during our stay and he was on it! We will definitely be back!!
This was a great place to stay in Cedar Key for our fishing trip. Plenty of parking for our two boats. House was stocked with everything we needed. The owner was very quick to respond when I asked a couple of questions about the house.
This location gives you plenty of room for multiple boats and vehicles for family and friends to visit, if your gigging at night you can wash the boat , get sleep be back on the water in 10 -15 min , if your fishing for multiple days clean up everything , take your fresh fish to the restaurant in Cedarkey have them cook it , or just go to the closest Robinson seafood , there is enough grocery's at dollar store , and gas at the cypress station to fuel up for the next day and your close enough to beat the crowd to the boat ramp in the morning , there is local state owned places to hunt or just explore ,itâs just a relaxing place to hang out
