This home is a custom build, built in 2014. The home compliments the surrounding area with its hacienda style. Enjoy the views of of the desert from the porch, family, kitchen or dining room. It is cozy, modern and private.
House was beautiful and perfect spot to explore Bryce Canyon. Kitchen was well-stocked. The house was very comfortable for two couples to spread out and enjoy downtime from hiking. The host was very responsive and provided book and pamphlets on nearby area. Nearby town Tropic had nice small grocery store and we ate at Rustlerâs restaurant.
This is a beautiful property, which is located near Bryce and Escalante and just down the road from Kodachrome Canyon SP. It's a clean, spacious, well equipped, beautifully-decorated home. The host was very responsive to our inquiries.
The property truly had a WOW factor. Lots of room. Well appointed. Very close to Kodachrome and Bryce Canyon. Cozy radiant heat, clean, a beautiful view of sandstone formation in the back, and great for sunrise photos! Wonderful place.
The beautiful home exceeded our expectations with a hiking trail in back up to a bench on top of the hill for viewing sunrise and sunset. There were even zero gravity chairs, perfect for star gazing. The kitchen had everything we needed and more.
Everything about this property was excellent, wish we could have stayed longer. The location was excellent, it was quiet, the view is incredible. The house was well stocked particularly the kitchen. There were even lounge chairs to recline and look at the night sky. Highly recommend it.
Very nice property in a beautiful private location with a short drive to the town of Tropic, Bryce Canyon and Red Canyon. Despite being a small town, Tropic offers a decent range of dining options, from a very good upscale restaurant called Stone Hearth Grill to local favorites such as Rustler's Restaurant. A half day drive up Route 12 to Boulder, UT has amazing vistas and is well worth the time.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was perfect. Hosts were great to work with. This is a luxury property with amazing views of surrounding landscape.
Beautiful home in a beautiful area of UT. Great place to stay with proximity to Bryce, Kodachrome, and other hiking/adventure opportunities in the area. Views from porch were sensational and night sky was fantastic! Home was comfortable with large windows throughout to take advantage of the magnificent scenery. Enjoyed our stay there immensely. It was hard to leave such a beautiful place!
This property was exactly as described - even better! It is in a remote area, but an easy 20 min drive to Bryce Canyon. The house has a beautiful view and is very comfortable - all the amenities you could want! We would love to return someday!
Thanks for the amazing stay. The house is so beautiful and comfortable with views from every window. We really appreciate being able to pull right into the garage and unload everything. Thank you!
The house is great, the location is ideal for trips into Bryce. It is 25 minutes to the entrance of the park. Joe, the owner was, very nice and responsive. He answered all our questions. I would highly recommend this property
We had a wonderful stay. The views were amazing, as every reviewer has said. The quiet was perfect. All the little âextrasâ were there in every room. Our ages ranged from 7-49 and we all had something to do. Brings you back to remembering lifeâs simple pleasures. Thank you for your hospitality.
The house and views were spectacular! Away from the crowds around Bryce Canyon, you are immersed in the beauty of the surrounding mountains and countryside. The home was very clean and wonderfully decorated. You had all the amenities you come ever want and more. Very comfortable beds as well! We stayed almost and week and would love to come back!
Wonderful property -during the day, we were all out hiking at Bryce and at night, we were all together cooking, eating and playing - our adult kids said that this was just a wonderful house and that they had an amazing time. Thank you Michael
I just wanted to say thank you! We stayed the last week of April in 2018, and everything was perfect. The house itself is well thought out, and had everything you can possibly need. And the location with the views - you cannot do any better. We stayed with 4 adults and 3 kids, and had plenty of space, and plenty to do in the area. If I get to go back out there someday, I will be staying here again!
The pictures donât do the home or the location Justice. This is an incredible stay! Minutes away from
Bryce and close to many other parks. The kitchen and bathrooms and truly every other part of the home- itâs pure luxury. Heated kitchen floor!!! Which is soooo good when youâre trying to get moving in the morning! My hubby and I were seriously so sad to leave it, I just have to hope itâs still on VRBO when itâs time for us to return. Fingers crossed!!!
Wow, we were very impressed with this house! It was so beautiful & furnished with everything that we needed to have a great vacation. Two couples spent a week enjoying the views, surrounding sites, cooking in most of the time, sitting on porch watching Jack Rabbits & etc! We walked up a trail behind the house to see the sunset & take pictures!! Joe & Pat were very helpful with all of our questions we ask about this, that and the other. Thanks for sharing your house with us & your hospitality! God bless you!Arnold & Brenda Hatley and Al &Diane Brandon
This is a beautiful home with exceptional views. The location is quite peaceful. Both the sunrises and sunsets are spectacular.
This home is very well appointed... everything you need is here. It even has its own hiking trail up the foothills in back! While the location might seem remote at first glance, it truly is close to both parks and amenities. The home is well kept, clean and comfortable. A bonus was photographing the Milky Way from the front deck.! Joe was a gracious host, even calling to assure that we had arrived safely and to see if we had any questions.
We obviously love this house and location since this is our second stay. It is clean, fully supplied, offers the most stunning views and is only 17 miles to Bryce Canyon, down the round from Kodachrome State Park, not far to Grosvenor Arch, Willis Creek and Mossy Cave Trail (all worth it). You are in a very private location with a trail behind the house that provides a view from the hill. The house is handsomely appointed with a large kitchen and pantry. There is plenty of room for a party of five or six. There are roofed porches front and back of the house and a garage. We spent a lot of time on the front porch appreciating the beauty. The owner is very helpful and communication is excellent. Thereâs small grocery stores close and even In Escalante but Iâd advise to stock up on produce prior to arriving. You can also go to a larger store in Kanab if you go to Zion (1.5 hours). Bryce is worth visiting several times especially at sunset (Sunset and Bryce Point have incredible views). Second time around, I highly recommend this house. You will not be disappointed. It will always be close to our hearts â€ïž
This home is a solid 5 stars. My husband & 2 kids (12 & 14) all loved the place. Driving up it looks a little small, but not once you are inside. It is very spacious & well laid out. The kitchen was great with lots of countertop space and well equipped with dishes, cooking supplies (including a ninja blender) & spices. The home was well stocked with essentials (paper towels, tissues, soap, conditioner, etc.). The home was clean & comfortable. There were games & puzzles & a TV that had Netflix, Amazon Prime & Disney+. The place had spectacular views out the many large windows. It was very quiet as your closest neighbor is a herd of steer on the other side of the street. The short hike in the backyard to the top of the hill was great. The home is very close to Kodachrome Park (enjoyed the hike to the Box Canyon). Mossy Cave (Tropic, UT) was also a fun hike. The home is very close to Bryce Canyon (about 30 min drive), which has literally the most beautiful natural scenery in the world. We saw lots of wildlife (mule deer, turkeys, coyotes, pronghorn antelope). We also drove to Orderville to do tours. We loved them! We also did some shooting with Robert Lacey in Orderville. Rob is an NRA certified instructor & has a variety of guns to shoot. The whole family felt comfortable with Robert, who is a super nice guy.
We enjoyed using this beautiful home as a base for the state parks, national forests and Bryce Canyon tours. We loved the location and especially the views out the windows.
