Heath, safety, and well-being of our guests are of utmost importance. For this reason, we use a thorough cleaning process after each check-out.

We love those little (and not so little) furry bundles of joy. Sadly, our home is not suitable to accommodate them.

★ NO SMOKING INSIDE ★
Please refrain from smoking inside the home! Any smoking evidence will result in a fee for odor removal, duct cleaning, and furniture cleaning.

★ NO PARTIES/EVENTS ★
We kindly ask you to treat our home as your own to preserve its pristine condition for future guests and your return visits.

★ CHECK-IN / CHECKOUT ★
We appreciate that a 4pm check-in is rather late, and that a 10am check-out is rather early. We need every one of those 6 hours to clean so each guest can be greeted with a spotless home. In fact, we often have to bring in 2 cleaners to get everything ready in that time frame. However, if nobody is leaving or coming the same day, we can sometimes accommodate early check-ins and late checkouts. In those cases, we charge $15/hour.

Note that you can always arrive earlier in Buenaventura and enjoy its amenities before actually checking into the apartment.

★ HOME AUTOMATION ★
We have installed home automation systems. When any doors or windows are left open for more than 3 minutes, the AC will automatically turn off. Please close the doors and windows before turning the AC back on.

★ NUMBER OF GUESTS ★
All guest fees are automatically included when you book your stay. However, if you accidentally book for too few people, or need to amend your booking to include more guests, we would like to let you know that each guest beyond a party of 6 incurs an extra fee of $28/night.
We will be accessible 24/7 for our guests via phone, text, or the Airbnb app.

Our flat, "The Gliding Damselfly," is located in the Laguna neighborhood of Buenaventura - the greenest and most tranquil setting in all of Buenaventura. All of Buenaventura is very safe and secure, whether you are walking at night or during the day. With a large laguna at its center, it is easy to walk (and bike) around for kids and adults alike.

The kiddie pool is within easy walking distance with a waterslide, adult pool and community gathering area, kayak and paddleboat dock, mango trees to harvest your breakfast (July - Sept), and a playground. A short walk or shorter drive brings you to the sports club, which has a workout gym, semi-Olympic size pool, sauna, tennis courts, basketball courts, and soccer (football) field (fee required). They give yoga, rhythmic gymnastics, tennis, and swimming classes. Arrangements can be made for private lessons as well. If you come during Panamanian school breaks or summer (Dec - Feb), they also have fantastic kids camps with activities such as horse riding, rock climbing, swimming, and tennis. Buenaventura offers the first "Rafa Nadal Academy" in Panama. If you or your kids are tennis enthusiasts and would like to attend, don't hesitate to contact us for details.

Buenaventura created "The Creating Center" during the pandemic to serve children living there and serve students from 17 countries who are taught using modern methods. If you decide to stay with us for an extended period, don't hesitate to contact us if you would like your children to make use of the center's services.

The Gliding Damselfly is exclusively yours, without interruption for the duration of your stay, so relax, unwind, and make yourself at home. The entire apartment has wide entryways, no stairs, and is easily accessible. It is nestled on the second floor, which you can access with an elevator.

We offer contact-free check-in via a lockbox, so you can check in anytime after the check-in time.

Driving is slow and easy around Buenaventura. One principal road (Avenida Principal) travels parallel to the beach, and several roads branch off the main road, each leading towards the beach. Walking and biking are easy and pleasant in Buenaventura. There are dedicated lanes for biking and walking.

"Tranquil Bliss: A Serene Getaway at Stylish & Quiet Laguna Views with Pool"

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the gliding damselfly villa apartment, and I must say it was a truly wonderful experience. The property owner, Mr. Alexi, was incredibly friendly and accommodating, always willing to assist with any requests we had. The villa itself is beautifully decorated with quaint modern touches, creating a comfortable and stylish atmosphere. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Moreover, the entire home was spotlessly clean, which added to the overall feeling of comfort and relaxation. One of the highlights of this villa is its location in the Buenaventura community. It is situated in a very quiet and peaceful area, allowing for a tranquil stay. As a member of the Marriott Buenaventura hotel, we usually stay there when visiting the area. However, this time we decided to try out one of Marriott's Home and Villas, and we were not disappointed. The villa's proximity to the Marriott Buenaventura hotel offers additional amenities and services that enhance the overall experience. The combination of the peaceful surroundings and the comfort of the villa made for a truly enjoyable stay. I highly recommend booking a stay at the Stylish & Quiet Breathtaking Laguna Views with Pool villa apartment. It provides a serene and comfortable environment, along with the warm hospitality of Mr. Alexi. Beautiful and Relaxing

This is our third time at this beautiful apartment. It is very comfortable, fully equipped and beautifully decorated. Surrounded by nature. Sitting in the balcony listening to the birds is so relaxing. Everything is clean an impecable. The host Alex is awesome. He truly cares about every detail to make our stay the best possible experience . He is very responsive and accommodating . We recommend this beautiful property to our friends and family.

Fantastic Condo

This was our second time staying in Buenaventura. This condo was beautifully decorated, located in one of the best locations for families, and was very spacious. The amenities are exactly as the host described and Alexander was available for any questions the entire stay. Our group consisted of a wide age range from young children to grandparents and the condo was perfect for all. It had a wonderfully large outside patio that was just perfect for a morning coffee or to catch a drink in the evening breeze. It was a very short walking distance to the pools (one with a slide) that our children loved. We will definitely look to stay here again on a future stay and would highly recommend it to all that are interested in visiting Buenaventura.

We're an American/Panamanian/British family currently living in Arizona. I am a tropical forest ecologist, Yoli works in marketing, and our little one is 7 years old. We all love Panama to death, and we'd love to share our little slice of paradise with you.

Buenaventura is the nicest community in the beach area near the city. There are tons of activities here if you want to take advantage. The Laguna neighborhood, where we are, is the most tranquil area in all of Buenavenutra. So, you can sit back and relax here like nowhere else. Your local pool is fantastic for the kids, as well as the adults.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Our flat in Laguna is perfectly located: you have a private and uninterrupted view of the green area and Laguna. Most units in Buenaventura have views obstructed by other buildings - not this one! We've also gone to great lengths to put together a beautifully decorated and tasteful apartment for everyone to enjoy. Finally, we have a 4x4 that we rent to guests at a (very) steep discount.
