Welcome! Enjoy all the lake has to offer at this newly updated stunning lakefront home. This 4 bedroom, 2 bath (+ outdoor shower) 1400 sq. foot home is located in Buck Creek Cove at the 8 MM. We are in deep water in a small cove off of Buck Creek Cove allowing for perfect swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. It is a short boat ride away to the main channel and popular hotspots! The Space:
Home is newly updated with attention to detail. The upper level has 4 bedrooms and one full bath. Each bedroom is equipped with a large mirror, plenty of hooks, large closet and hair dryer. The bunk room has a 42-inch smart TV and 2 sets of 3-tiered bunk beds. Please note the weight limit for the top and middle beds on these bunk beds is 200 pounds per mattress and are meant for kids. The bottom mattress sits directly on the floor.
On the lower level you will find an open concept living room with smart TV, fully stocked kitchen, dining table to seat 8, bar area overlooking the lake seating 3 and a full bath.
Step right out of the lower level onto the patio. The patio table seats 8-10 and outdoor lounge/seating area seats 7. There is a gas grill on the patio, propane is provided. There is a firepit with chairs at the water's edge for your evening smores.

Bathrooms
-Upper-level full bathroom has tub. There is a hair dryer, wall mirror, plenty of hooks and toiletry stand/cart in each bedroom.
-Lower-level full bathroom has a shower.
-Outdoor shower does have access to hot and cold water, so you can take a comfortable shower anytime

Bedrooms
-Bedroom #1 has a queen bed, 32-inch Smart TV, ceiling fan
-Bedroom #2 has a queen bed, stand alone fan
-Bedroom #3 has a queen bed, ceiling fan
-Bedroom #4 has 2 sets of 3-tiered bunk beds, weight limit is 400 pounds for the top 2 beds, beds and mattresses in this room are meant for kids. This bedroom has a 42-inch Smart TV, ceiling fan. Pack and play and booster/high chair that attaches to dining chair is on the shelf in closet.

Parking
-there is parking for 4 vehicles, this includes an upper-level driveway with door leading into the upstairs and a lower-level driveway in which you can enter into the kitchen/living area. This is convenient for unloading coolers and food.

Laundry
- there is a detached garage close to the house with a laundry room. The laundry room has a washer and dryer and extra life jackets. There is an outdoor shower on the back of this detached garage.

Location
-We are located on the 8 mile marker in Buck Creek Cove. The cove is quiet and away from the main channel. This house sits on a smaller cove off of Buck Creek Cove making it ideal for swimming, kayaking and paddleboarding, while being able to use the larger Buck Creek Cove for skiing or tubing. Great fishing! It is a short boat ride/water taxi ride to popular lake front restaurants and bars: Shady Gators, Toad Cove, Frankie & Louie's, Tap & Grill, Coconuts and many more. By land we are 3 miles from the town of Laurie with a grocery store, restaurants, a movie theater and bowling alley.

About Us
We are a Corey and Julie. We live in the Kansas City area and are both K-State alumni. We have 3 busy teenagers, 2 crazy dogs and a cat. We have always had a passion for houses, renovations and sharing our home with others leading to owning short term rentals. Our other short term rental is on the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City. Our goal is to create a unique stay for you to enjoy, relax and have fun!

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the whole house and private dock. The upper and lower level doors are equip with keyless entries.

The Neighborhood:
Please be respectful of noise levels.

Getting Around:
We have 2 driveways which will each hold 2 cars.

No smoking, no pets, no parties
