Fantastic stay

We had a fantastic stay for our family Christmas. The cabin was incredibly stocked with everything we needed and then some. Was great working with the host. Beautiful location. Everything was perfect!!

Family Vacation

We brought our family of 12 adults and 16 grandchildren to Smore's Sunrise Lake View Retreat. The information online and what was provided by hosts prior to our arrival was very accurate and helpful. Enjoy every moment at the cabin and surrounding areas.

Perfect getaway

Rejuvenating Retreat

This place was so beautiful, the home and the land it sits on. Our staff was here for vision casting, and this created a great backdrop for this retreat. The home was so comfortable and had everything we needed.

Beautiful Location

I doubt you can find better views or better locations in or near the park. The cabin had endless entertainment inside and outside. Secluded but still close to everything in Hochatown. Our host responded very quickly when we had any questions.

Absolutely and unbelievable place and broken bow Oklahoma Oklahoma.

From the drive up to the cabin to the walk into the front doors to the entire view in the back absolutely amazing and a very good finish out. The detail was absolutely perfect.

Beautiful Home and Views

This amazing home is on a hilltop with two levels of large decking. Each level overlooks the rolling treetops with a glimpse of the lake in the distance. Our work group had plenty of space for privacy and enjoyed the common areas inside and out for our meetings and game time.

Broken Bow Birthday celebration

My family and I had an excellent time at the S’mores Sunrise Cabin. It exceeded our expectations. Cabin is beautiful and has absolutely everything you need. Fully stocked kitchen. Wonderful sleeping spaces. Beautiful views and a great hot tub!!!! I will definitely be back!

Beautiful View

You can see the earth dam and a small portion of the lake from the enormous back decks. You can also hear the river below the property that begins at the spillway. It is a magnificent property, and the owners want to ensure your time there is carefree.

Dream family reunion location!

I cannot imagine a better location to host your next family reunion. This cabin had something amazing for every age group. Quiet corners to wonderful play spaces. The kitchen was so open and lovely. It brought everyone together. The bedrooms and bathrooms were well appointed and super nice. Everyone in attendance felt treated! Highly recommend!!

Our Stay in Broken Bow, OK.

Thirty members of our Catholic Church senior ministry including our pastor was in the group. Facilities was adequate for a comfortable stay for thirty people. Place was clean, plenty of room for everything, kitchen and other facilities were enough to prepare meals for thirty. Service of the managers were super with excellent communications.

Guy Fishing Trip

It was great it allowed all of us to have our own beds that way no one had to sleep on the floor. We didn't have to all go fishing during the day we could play pool, cornhole and other games in the game room. The host were amazing as we got there a little early and they allowed us to check in just a bit sooner which worked out great. Again there was plenty of space for everyone and enough room for everyone which is hard to fine for trips like this.

Absolutely AMAZING!!!

If you are looking for a spacious house with breathtaking views this is the place for you! We had 10 adults and 16 children and all fit comfortably. The attention to every detail was very impressive inside and out of the property. The kitchen cabinets were fully stocked with any and everything you would need to cook and serve the food. Every inch of the house is decorated beautifully and very comfortable. The kids had a blast with the playground, swings, outside games, hot tub, air hockey, wiffleball, and making Smores around the fire pit at night. The adults enjoyed the outside fireplace, pool table, Golden Tee game, and hanging out it the huge open living room and kitchen. Shannon the owner was fast to respond to any questions we had and gave recommendations of fun things to do around the area. Before we left we were already talking about our trip back for next year!

This cabin is a DREAM! The pictures do not do justice! It’s a whole experience for sure that you have to be there to believe it. It accommodates a large group so well. My friends and I were able to enjoy our time inside, outside on the decks, or the fire pit. It has comfortable beds, very nice sitting area and kitchen, and bedrooms were very large! My friends were obsessed with the bunk rooms and how spacious they were. I’m a nature guys so the outside was my favorite part! Has incredible views and the decks are so well built and furnished to enjoy a great time outside. If you love to see the Sunrise, this is the best place to do it!!! Best cabin I stayed at in Broken Bow! The hosts are incredibly nice and always at your service at any time. They respond so quick! I wanna thank them for such an incredible experience! Literally nothing to complain about!

Beautiful Spot with All the Amenities

We stayed here for a combined Bachelor and Bachelorette party and had a fantastic time! We loved the large space to spread out and the multiple decks really came in handy since it did rain some. We even walked down to the river using the hiking trail located on the property! The only criticisms we had was that it wasn't as secluded as we thought, and even though it is located on 18 acres you still have close-ish neighbors. And it is a little thing but the bar soap they provided could have been upgraded from just bar soap to actual liquid soap or at least soap dishes for the bar soap. I have seen other VRBOs do full soap dispensers with hand soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner and that would have been really nice to have. But very minor things considering EVERY other detail was meticulously handled, down to providing basic supplies like razors, bandaids, bug spray, etc. We LOVED having the website with all the instructions about the cabin and its amenities, it definitely came in handy! All in all, we would HIGHLY recommend and stay here again!

Fantastic spot in Broken Bow/Hochatown!

Our company hosted our leadership team retreat at S'mores Sunrise, and it was a fantastic spot for the team to get away from the office and focus on goal-planning. A great space with a variety of activities to do around the cabin. Mark and Shannon were responsive and provided so much helpful information prior to our arrival. A spacious cabin that will exceed the needs for any size group!

Great Cabin

This cabin has the best view. The cabin was well maintained, spacious, well stocked with essentials such as towels, laundry detergent, dishes, etc. We had an amazing stay. The fireplace on the patio was the family’s favorite spot. Fire pit was great for s’mores. Owners were very responsive.

Mark and Shannon Swenson own S'mores Cabins and live in McKinney. We fell in love with Broken Bow years ago when we took our first trip together there. We bought our first cabin S'mores & Fishin' that sleeps 20 in 2020, then built S'mores Sunrise that sleeps 30 in 2022, building S'mores Modern Lodge to sleep 16 in 2023.

We proudly self manage as a family business. Mark handles building our cabins and often stays in Broken Bow. Shannon we'll be your primary contact for guest interaction. Designing, building, fully furnishing/decorating our cabins, then self-managing is a labor of love. We are thrilled to share and hope you enjoy the love and attention we put into creating this cabin and your vacation experience. We are available for all your questions and anything we can do to help make your vacation filled with wonderful memories and hope you'll make S'mores Cabins your annual Broken Bow trip.
