Cozy Cottage located in an Apple Orchard - 5 mins from Downtown Hendersonville

Welcome to our cozy orchard guest cottage located at Grandad’s Apples Orchard near the heart of apple country. Only minutes from Historic Downtown Hendersonville, Lake Lure, Chimney Rock, Tryon Equestrian Center, DuPont State Forest, and Downtown Asheville. Centrally located to explore all the opportunities for hiking the land of many waterfalls, sightseeing, antiquing, and visiting the many wineries and breweries.

Springtime is special to enjoy all the apple blossoms and in the fall, the foliage of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Visiting Grandad’s Apple Orchard is also a must during our apple season.

The cozy orchard guest cottage is on a working farm. It is a 3 bedroom, two bath home. The main bedroom and adjoining bathroom are on the first floor and has a king sized bed. The other two bedrooms and shared bathroom are upstairs with queen sized beds. It is a perfect retreat for families, couples, and business travelers. We offer wifi at 10mbps, and a convenient electric keycode for easy access to the cottage. Ring Cameras are located at both entrances of cottage

Other Things to Note
This is the first time we have offered this as a vacation rental. The home is recently renovated and has all new furnishings.

Cute house on edge of apple farm

The house was great for us this week. It was convenient to all the sightseeing we did, and let us enjoy the stars at night. Communication with the owners was fantastic and quick.highly recommend if you are looking for a getaway.

Lovely retreat!

Home was so comfortable and perfectly furnished without the typical rental furniture/decor haphazard overflow. The front porch view each morning was worth and extra drive or inconvenience of not having a hotel experience. We absolutely loved our stay, and the kids cannot wait to go back to the 'apple house'. Owner was great at communicating!

Peaceful Stay

My husband and I stayed at the cottage with our pup and had an amazing time. It was such a beautiful property inside and out. It was so well maintained, clean, and had everything we needed. The only downside for us was that we had to drive through town to get to all the Mtb trails we were there to ride. That was minor and I definitely recommend staying here to anyone.

The house is located in very nice area around apple crops and sufficiently separated from the neighbors which was adorably. Very comfortably house!

Beautiful home with a great location!

We enjoyed a wonderful trip to Hendersonville for a 4 day baseball tournament! The home was perfect for our needs and the host was very accommodating to our requests/ questions. The host was very responsive throughout the weekend! We will definitely stay here again if in the area!

Very nice cottage. Convenient to everything.

This was our second stay at the cottage for our friends get-away. It has just the right space and all the amenities we prefer in a quiet, peaceful setting. It is convenient to all of our favorite restaurants, and shopping. Already planning to book again in a few months.

Delightful Stay at the Orchard

Sister trip! We had a delightful stay at this charming house in the midst of a beautiful orchard. Enjoyed a day in Hendersonville and a relaxing afternoon and dinner at the house. It was a refreshing getaway - thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Amazing getaway!

We recently enjoyed an amazing stay at this wonderful cottage! The kitchen was fully stocked including a thoughtful basket of goodies and the entire home was absolutely immaculate! We have never stayed at a vrbo property that was so well maintained! The location was fantastic! In addition to being at the edge of a beautiful apple orchard it was not more than ten minutes to restaurants, shopping, sightseeing, and wineries! Check in was super smooth, beds were comfy, and we loved the abundance of linens provided! Exceptional stay! Definitely recommend!!!

Clean and awesome views

This is the cleanest house I have rented through VRBO. The beds are comfortable and the views of the mountains and orchards are beautiful. The kitchen actually had pots, pans, etc. in case you want to cook yourself. Kayce was very nice and answered questions I had prior to the trip. Excellent accommodations and would definitely return.

Beautiful cottage

This beautiful cottage was the perfect place to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday and some much needed family time. It was very clean and everything about it made our stay comfortable. The rocking chairs and swing on the back porch overlooking the apple orchard were the perfect touch for morning coffee and evening time after hiking during the day. It is close to Asheville, hiking trails to see waterfalls, shopping, restaurants and more. The check in process was very easy and communication was great! This will be our new go to VRBO the next time we visit the area.

Cozy cottage in quiet and serene area

The home was absolutely charming with beautiful views of the orchards and mountains from the porch. Once inside, it was nicely decorated and felt warm and welcoming to us. Smart tv’s in each room as well as board games to pass the time. Hose was also very well kept and clean. Just was responsive to any questions and concerns. Highly recommend. I will keep this property in mind during apple picking season.

Clean and private

Kayce was very responsive, check-in was simple (code), the house was immaculate and well equipped, and we loved the back porch overlooking the orchard most of all. Mattress preferences, of course, are subjective, but imo the downstairs master is more plush, and the upstairs queens are firm. We were in town for several days for our daughter's wedding, and the location was perfect for us- 11 minutes from the venue, 5 minutes from basic shopping and restaurants. Mornings on the covered back porch were wonderful, enjoying the swing and rockers.

Delightful apple orchard home

The home had everything to contribute to a wonderful stay. Very clean, comfortable, and had lovely touches in the decor. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Set in the orchard, and sitting on the porch was a perfect way to end each day. Easy check-in with great communication from hosts. We will certainly will be back! Would love to visit again when the orchard is open and the apples are ready.
