Isolé, Montagne Pet-Friendly Cabin In Apple Picking Pays

Perché au fond des bois près des vergers de pommiers, du domaine de Biltmore et du lac Lure, ce chalet en rondins ensoleillé comprend 4 chambres (2 lits queen-size à l'étage, 1 lit queen et 1 lit superposé en bas), 3 cuisine bien garnie et une table de ping-pong dans le garage. Il est un excellent set-up pour les familles avec enfants.

Profitez des chaises berçantes sur le pont arrière couvert que vous regardez sur une colline boisée avec vue d'hiver. Le porche couvert fournit une table de pique-nique et barbecue pour manger en plein air. Pour les aventuriers, environ 300 mètres de randonnée en montagne en passant par les bois et les lauriers vous conduisent dans un labyrinthe de vieilles routes forestières qui sillonnent Rich Mountain, où vous pourrez faire de longues randonnées. Il ya beaucoup de place pour les chiens de se déplacer.

Passez vos après-midi tube sur la Green River, la pêche dans les ruisseaux à truites à proximité, cueilleur de pommes dans les vergers idéalement situé, escalade Chimney Rock, explorant le Blue Ridge Parkway, visiter le Biltmore Estate, ou profiter antique chasse et à manger à Asheville et Hendersonville. Notre emplacement central vous met dans les 25 minutes de toutes ces activités.

Si vous voulez un vrai rendez-vous loin, un endroit qui n'a pas de développement de quartier ou de logement, notre cabane dans les bois peut être pour vous. Ce qu'il décontracté et isolé, bien que toujours dans les 13 minutes à partir de toutes sortes de magasins et restaurants à grande surface à Hendersonville. En fait, les 1. 3 derniers miles de la cabine sont sur un chemin de terre qui va droit assez raide avant l'entrée de la cabine. La portion de route de terre est à environ 5 minutes de route et faisable dans les voitures ordinaires, sauf dans des conditions glaciales, quand il est préférable d'avoir un SUV ou 4 roues motrices. (Nous conduire normalement dans une Toyota Prius ou Dodge Mini-Van et ne pas avoir des problèmes, mais cela est une route de montagne de terre!)

Christmas Get-away

This mountain cabin was just what we were looking for, a place to get away, spend time with family, and relax. Everything was just as described, including the drive up to the cabin. We will definitely keep this in mind for future trips. Close to Hendersonville and Asheville if you want to go out and explore, or perfect for just relaxing and spending time togethee.

Mountain Getaway

My family and I traveled to this beautiful secluded mountain home for a wedding. The host was incredibly quick to answer my questions about their home and was very honest. We enjoyed our stay in this roomy home with plenty of space for everyone. My favorite part was the beautiful sunrise from the deck every morning!

Family gathering in Hendersonville

Overall, the house was perfect for our group. Comfortable beds and plenty of space. The trickiest part is the road up to the cabin. We saw someone filling pot holes one day. It's in need of repair.

Very clean and spacious rooms, love that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Excellent kitchen. Enjoyed the fire pit. Secluded and private, was NOT disappointed!

Upstairs cozy and clean. Downstairs a little tired. Found a lot of dead spiders. I would strongly consider AWD; lower vehicles may struggle.

3 Generation Family Get together

Thank you to the owners. We had a great time. Rooms were very spacious. 2 Beds had firm mattresses, except master and bunk beds. Granddaughters absolutely loved the cabin. Views are amazing. Only downside had nothing to do with house. The road up the mountain was awful. I would suggest nothing without a good amount of clearance. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Cabin in the woods

We enjoyed our recent 3 nights in the mountains of the Blue Ridge. The house was as described, roomy and clean. The only complaint/problem was with the downstairs bathroom/shower. The nozzle needs replacing, water shoots everywhere. Also the shower pan needs looking at, it floods with minimal usage. Otherwise a wonderful house.

Upstairs was nice, needed better cleaning

The upstairs of the cabin was nice, good kitchen and comfortable beds. The downstairs however was unusable due to the smell. It had a strong musty/mildew smell and was damp. We also found several dead mice which also was unappealing. There were cobwebs everywhere including bathrooms and bedrooms. We did not use the downstairs at all due to allergies.

Wonderful

Actually bigger than expected! Exceeded my expectations. Plenty of common space for 7 adults and 2 dogs. The only downsides are 1. One of the bedrooms is two twin beds (which is advertised, so not a bad thing just something to be aware of). We brought two queen air mattresses and they fit just fine. 2. The fire pit is right on a downward hill, just be careful walking around there! The downsides are very small and I truly thought it’d be a smaller cabin than what it was. The road to the cabin is not near as bad as I anticipated, GPS took us right to it and you just have to go slow up/down the mountain if you don’t had 4WD. Everyone was so pleased with the stay though, we’ll definitely be booking here again!

Secluded spacious mountain home

We enjoyed staying in this beautiful mountain home. The kitchen is fully stocked and it has everything you could need. However, it is a 10-15 min drive at 5 MPH up a very rough unpaved road to get to the house. We made it in my Toyota van, but we spun tires more than once. I don't think we could have made it if it rained. We picked this house because we have 5 in our family and due to family dynamics, we need 5 beds, which is really hard to find. The beds were comfy and everything was clean. Might not matter to anyone else, but I was a bit frustrated because they gave us the exact number of towels we needed for our group. I like to have extra towels, but I couldn't find a linen closet with extras. We absolutely loved the area. Downtown Hendersonville is great for shopping and restaurants. Asheville is 30 min away. We enjoyed a visit to a local orchard. Overall, a great trip.

A quiet week in the woods

My girlfriend and I needed to get out of the city and decided to rent a cabin in the woods for four days just to get away from the hustle and bustle. After some research we picked this wonderful cabin in Fletcher, NC, granted it was just the two of us staying the cabin had plenty of room for more people. The cabin itself was very clean, well maintained, stocked with everything from olive oil to charcoal for the grill, as well as a few pieces of wood for the fire pit. When more wood was needed, I gathered fallen wood from the endless trails behind the cabin. Granted the hill to get to the old logging roads was defiantly steep but was also short hike. After most hikes I found myself on the front porch rocking away or in the back in front of the fire bit, I don't think I turned on the television once. The host before the trip were extremely helpful with any questions I may have had leading up to it. From where to eat, where to hike and where to fish any question I had was responded to with in 12 hours with very detailed emails about all the things to do in the area. Overall I would recommend staying at this cabin if you are looking to for a nice quiet spot to rest and renew.

Just What We Wanted

We wanted to go somewhere where we could have some solid family time and enjoy the outdoors. This property was great! More than enough room for a family of five and two dogs to sleep eat and play. The owners were communicative before, during, and after our stay. It's about 30 minutes out from Asheville, so just a short ride. My tips: - The driveway is steep. My truck had less than quarter of a tank on the last day. I backed it in to make packing easier. Due to the incline and low fuel, it wouldn't start! Slowly braked down to a flat spot in the road and it started right up. Keep it at least half a tank. - If you plan on going tubing, pre-pay for a ticket. We didn't have an issue last time in the area, but this time they were constantly packed. - Make sure whoever is sleeping downstairs has an extra blanket. It's much cooler than the upstairs. - Driving up the mountain was a little nerve-wracking the first day, even in a full-size 4WD truck, but you get used to it fairly quickly. I'd be weary to make the trip in a front-wheel drive car on an icy day. Like I said, it was a great experience. Kids, dogs, wife and I had a great stay!

Mountin relaxation

This was a great cabin. 6 of us were roaming around! Wish we were forewarned about road, kind of dicey but didn't detour us from any plans. We had a wonderful time here! We really enjoyed sitting on the porch.

Peaceful oasis in the mountains

Beautiful cabin in the mountains. The road up there is a bit of a challenge - but once you arrive, it is worth it. Plenty of room for our group of 7 and we really enjoyed the remoteness - whether sitting around the fire pit or drinking coffee on the front porch. Easy access to lots of stuff around the area include a great winery 10 minutes away. We enjoyed our stay!

a Holiday miracle

We visited during the coldest cold spell in years. It was several degrees below zero. The house, despite being up a very steep driveway on an also steep and winding dirt road, did not lose power at any point. It was well heated with lots of backup supplies. Kitchen well furnished with both cookware and assorted spices and cooking needs, if oddly organized. Upstairs bathrooms are “cozy” and doors on shower rooms make them feel smaller. Lovely to find a ping pong table in garage. Well stocked bookshelves and some kids games. Dog friendly. Internet very slow- be prepared for that.

Thanksgiving

My family has been staying in the mountains for Thanksgiving for the last 10+ years. We've stayed in different towns and all kinds of cabins. This cabin was my favorite. I loved the two levels with dens/tv's so everyone could watch what they wanted to. We had 3 out of town family members that came Thanksgiving day and they loved playing ping pong. Kitchen was very spacious for all the cooking. We even grilled out the night before. Loved the trail behind the house but it turned out hunters were out and shooting so be careful. They even had corn out for the deer. Never could find the waterfall. The rest of the house was wonderful. Everyone had a bedroom. I would definitely go there again. Hoping to go in a couple of years for Thanksgiving again. Also loved the view from the deck. I had my coffee out there every morning and got to see the sun come up.

This was our 4th time staying here. We love this house, the views, and the location. Downstairs area is great for the kids to hang out. House was clean as usual.

This cabin is owned by two families who live and work in Charleston, SC. We have children that are very close in age, and we all love to go up to the cabin together when we get a chance. The set-up is great for families with children. The kids have their own bedrooms and living area downstairs where they can hang out and leave the grown-ups undisturbed in the evenings. We spend our time at the cabin hiking, holding ping-pong tournaments, sipping wine on the back deck, grilling out, and of course, taking advantage of river tubing, fishing, shopping, etc. in nearby Hendersonville and Asheville.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Our cabin is a great place to get away from it all. We're surrounded by woods and hiking opportunities. Yet, at the same time, we're a short, 15-minute drive away from numerous stores and restaurants in Hendersonville.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We love the log cabin feel of the place--the all-wood walls and ceilings in the upstairs living room, dining room, kitchen, and bedrooms especially. The cabin is extremely comfortable--laid-back and not fussy or fancy.
