Great location, close to Credit Union 1 amphlitheater and walking distance to a good breakfast spot. Quiet neighborhood and clean apartment. Perfect space for a girlsâ getaway.
Our family constantly commented on the quiet beauty of the space. We loved the decor and the really interesting yet cool shower! The rooms and beds weâre comfortable. Even my son thought the futon was fine.
We would definitely stay again!
I LOVED YOUR PLACE. SOMEONE DISRESPECTED MY WISHES I LEFT WENT FOR ICE SOMEONE SMOKED ALARM WENT OFF WENT OFF HAD TO LEAVE. I APOLOGIZE. †PLEASE FORGIVE.
The location and cleanliness of this property is great. However, this property was not professionally renovated and has safety issues that should be addressed immediately. Also, the property smells of insecticide throughout. The smell was present the whole two days we were there.
The countertops in the kitchen look like blonde wood in the photos, but if you could zoom in you would see that they are unfinished plywood. There is an empty space on the makeshift sink counter that is covered by a carefully positioned kitchen towel.
The shower is unsafe. Itâs a drain in the floor with a wooden grate over it. The grate is not secured and wobbles. There is nothing to hold on to, nowhere to set down your shampoo. The curtain hangs from the ceiling and immediately clings to the body of the person attempting to shower. The shower needs walls or a structure and the grate needs to be removed or secured.
There is one wobbly 2x4 serving as a partial handrail on the stairs. Some stretches of stairs have no handrail. (I understand that handrails are not important/necessary for everyone, but I am mentioning it in case a future renter needs the info. This was not a main consideration in my rating).
I admire the DIY spirit of the owner, but a professional contractor should be brought in to finish the job.
The property was clean and attractive. Itâs located in downtown Homewood with an easy walking distance of restaurants and shopping. The door takes a little bit of time to figure out. You need to wait time before you can hear it lock. Some of the door knobs were coming loose. A few of the ceiling fixtures were coming loose as well. It was a safe, clean, convenient, affordable option. I appreciated that the host answered my questions right away. Guest should know that there is parking available in back. I didnât know it and had to ask the host.
The futon was in a front room that was basically a closed in porch and that smelled very strongly like Raid and there was a wasp. The back rooms were really nice and those beds were really comfortable. The futon was very uncomfortable and not even long enough for me and I'm only 5'5". Property manager was really nice, but I think she should just list it as sleeps 4 since the futon is horrible for sleeping.
Had a wonderful visit at this property, plenty of stuff around to do or just grab a bite to eat. Had questions and the host was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
