You'll love this unique romantic escape. The airstream is the perfect base camp to explore Olympic National Park, the Ocean Straits, is located just 10 minutes from Port Angeles the Victoria, Ferry. Inside is one cozy full size bed, perfect for snuggling, a bathroom, fully stocked kitchen dining. Outside is a large covered patio area with a propane fire-pit BBQ. As a guest on our property, you also have access to our garden, gift store, amenities. Trails to the river forest are right outside your door.
Cozy and fun atmosphere for a getaway. Great for cyclists riding the Olympic trails. We enjoyed relaxing outside under the gazebo. Except for a couple flickering lights, the Airstream was perfect. We cooked up a great breakfast in the morning, and settled in with a glass of wine in the evening. Definition of a perfect retreat.
The airstream and gazebo setup was very nice. The airstream is a little tight and the bed is a bit small but other then those minor complaints I would recommend this place to others.
This was such a fun stay! The airstream came with literally everything you could need - cooking supplies, pots, pans, glassware and silverware and a super comfy bed. The outside patio and bbq area was my favorite. Lots of nearby cafes, restaurants, stores, and of course the Olympic national forest which was gorgeous! Definitely recommend staying here and trying something different, we will be back!
It was PERFECT for our annual Christmas trip. Exactly as described and perfect for a couple.
Unfortunately the icy Seattle weather made us a day late so we could only stay one night. Now we are already planning a return so we can enjoy more time and explore more of the beautiful area. Thank you for your great hospitality as always!
So much thought was put into this rental with a lot of extras (bbq, freestanding fire, heater, lighting and everything was matching and so cute). Private area of your own. Close to hiking and town but nice setting 10 minutes away.
Our stay at the Elwha Dam RV Park Airstream was dam amazing. The hosts, David and Kris, weâre so dam accommodating! We have an airstream so we understand some of the dam things about staying in an dam RV that newbies may not. But there are instructions in the dam Airstream and if you have any dam questions you can always talk to the hosts. Will definitely come back.
Apart from the toilet/shower not having proper watercolor everything was clean and functional. The outside area was so peaceful and enjoyable. We stopped at Costco and Walmart and stocked up and ate most nights at the airstream after long days if hiking in beautiful Olympic National Park. The space heater outside worked great, I grilled corn and one of the best steaks I've ever grilled on the grill but I couldn't get the fire pit table to work. It's located near Lake Crescent and Hurricane Ridge as well as drivable to the west coast beaches and Hoh rainforest.
Pictures match reality. Easy check-in process and very helpful with detail and recommendations. The airstream is tight, but it was exactly as described.
The grill and outdoor area were so nice to relax after a day of hiking.
To be transparent, the bathroom was a challenge. It was as described so I'm not at all complaining. The toilet and sink were fine. I would not recommend the shower since it's extremely small and I had concerns about water temperature. It's doable, but for someone who isn't as 'outdoorsy' it was too much of a challenge. However, there is a larger shower in the RV park which I have to say was nicer than expected.
Hosts had great communication and the instructions for check-in/check-out were good. The bed was cozy and comfortable. Kitchen was well-apportioned. Used the grill, microwave and fridge. All worked well.
I would highly recommend. The airstream was fun and provided a very unique stay which we loved.
Unfortunately our stay at the Airstream was a disaster. Walking into the trailer thereâs an immediate pungent odor or urine. There is an aromatherapy burner but itâs not enough to hide the smell. Thereâs was no heat or gas/working burners or hot water. When we requested it fixed, they said they fixed it but then the new tank that was hooked up was not double checked. We continued to have no gas. So the entire time spent there, we had no heat, hot water or the ability to cook. They said they felt bad, but they never credited our cleaning fee as they promised. The trailer was decorated nice, but it was an ice box for me and my son at night. It would have been much less money just to go camping. That they never credited our cleaning fee was even more insulting. Beautiful area but not a fun part of our vacation.
This airstream was very nice. Had all the amenities we needed. The private patio was a great place for us to cook some burgers and chill by the fire pit in the evening. Very good communication via the App as well as live in the main office!!!
David and Chris manage this property and campground resort with their family who are caring people and eager to serve. They say it still feels like yesterday when they searched over a year to find the perfect property. "It was hard to find a place that has the best of all worlds, but here at the Elwha it seems we do: It has a peaceful healing vibe, with majesty all around. Mountain peaks stand in the distance and the splendor of the forest, lakes, waterfalls, Strait of Juan De Fuca and ocean are mere minutes away. A Victoria, BC international experience is just a boat ride away and all around you is a community of service that suits a family's needs. Port Angeles truly is a unique place."
